  1. OK, I just did the thing again on my sorc this time and was able to solo False History Order of stages: [sTAGE 1] [HEROIC 2+] False History [sTAGE 1] Covering Your Tracks [sTAGE 1] A Trace of Guilt [sTAGE 2] Smuggler's Den (Do Bonus Mission) [sTAGE 2] Landing Party Did each and every bonus and lo, upon calling Under-Moff Benson to say I've completed Landing Party, the achievement popped up
  2. EDIT: Disregard the below, I rechecked and I didn't get it! (must have been looking at the rep one instead ) I did [sTAGE 1] False History first in a group of 4, then left the group. Pretty sure everyone had the quest. Did two random stages to finish stage 1. I don't recall which. Then I did [sTAGE 2] Landing Party and didn't get the achievement. So I rage quit in the wee hours and went to bed. Got up, had lunch, came back to the game, no achievement. Then I did [sTAGE 2] Eviction Notice right afterwards. I think I checked again and still no achievement. I then ran [sTAGE 2] Smuggler’s Den. I didn't check here, but after doing the final stage and talking to the droid on the orbital to finish the staged weekly I then boarded my ship. Then I did check and woah - I had the achievement! So to those having problems, you may have to do either of the other 2 stage 2's I ran and/or finish the staged weekly to get this achievement. Good luck people!
  3. A quick fix is to double tap the direction key you're stuck moving in. If that fails, double tap all direction keys. Annoying, but fixable.
  4. You can also spec for the rule of two option and hope your guarded target gets hit at the right time. It's a handy talent
  5. Don't like LFG queues? Roll a tank, instant in. Shorter queue, roll a healer (I believe you have a merc that can do this) Want to be a DPS all the time? Well, so does everyone else, wait your turn. LFG doesn't magically invent tanks or healers, and I doubt cross server LFG would help as I would imagine most servers are starved of tanks and healers in LFG. Of course the best solution to your problem is join a guid, or make one, and make friends with a tank who will queue with you.
  6. The best thing about Treek is ... Using the Sith Pureblood PUNISH social ability on her at every opportunity
  7. Generally 4pc is better than higher stat non bonus armourings. For jugg tank, the 4pc bonus is really nice OFC, the mods and enchancements can be 72, but be sure to use the non lettered variants as they have more mitigation.
  8. Thrown Gauntlet is probably my most used ability in PvP. PvE wise it's priceless around Makeb sending a mob to their doom from a great height. It also resets charge and is a free interrupt on mobs it can be used on. Its utility is simply too awesome not to take over boosting DPS abilities such as Accuracy. If I had to loose something, it would be Revenge as rage isn't hard to come by. EDIT: In other words it's normally on CD at some point and I'd take it easily over saber ward CD reduction
  9. This is not minor, but a MAJOR reason I love the Operative
  10. So the DPS set bonus is lol as far as pugs go, where as the Medic set is whooo. I'm a mecia for raids and used to be for pvp, but i grow bored of then - even when i did 700k heals and 350k damage in a voidstar. BORING! Well, it seems like it now. So anyhoo, field respec is fun and I'm finding the love for Concealment in pvp again. Not for inflated numbers, healing or lul dps, but for the satisfaction of picking a target and killing them. Ie objective play. I find I can kill some people easily, others not so. So my question is, would enforcer gear be *that* mucn better than my WH medic gear?
  11. Any thoughts? Dread Guard Relic of Ephemeral Mending - Equip: Healing an ally has a 50% chance to restore an additional 505 health over 3 seconds. This effect can only occur once every 20 seconds, and shares this limit with similar healing effects. vs Dread Guard Relic of Boundless Ages + 350 Power over 30 seconds vs War Hero Relics of Boundless Ages + 113 Power I'm still tempted to stick with the WH one as the +proc one is meh and the other uses a potentially valuable GCD.
  12. Does it really take an hour to reset? WHY!!!!!!! My internet dropped doing this and I come back a few minutes later and can't click anything. So I abandoned the bonus quest and still can't click anything, nor get the bonus quest back! I don't especially want to redo as I've sunk a few hours into the prior quests of the chain...
  13. I posted my build here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=492766
  14. Due to a tank crisis in my guild I've been gearing my jugg through EM EV and KP runs. Sadly much didn't drop for me, so I'm fully columi geared with 3 rakata pieces and 1 bh piece. We're currently plowing through EC story mode and from what the healers say my gear isn't a problem and I'm holding threat well enough. So my question is this - when do should I start augmenting my gear? Right away and only the rakata/bh or the columi and tionese OH as well?
  15. The premise of this build is to tank effectively in PvP and PvE hard modes. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#101hrhdudrzfzZzMZcMM.1 Basically the same as the PvE on in the other thread, but dropping Shield Specialization for Thrown Gauntlet and Lash Out for Intimidation. Comments and suggestions are welcome
  16. When it's up it's great, but it's down atm with a large chunk of other EU only servers. C'mon BW, breathe life back into our great server!
  17. Our full melee group was Jug Tank, Jug DPS, Assassin DPS and Operative healer (me). This was possibly the most fun I've had in a FP to date! To any that say rDPS is a requirement then you're just terribad. I'll also point out that the big Operative Medic hitters are melee based, so at boss enrage times AND final boss final phase there were 4 melee bashing away and it was FUN
  18. I find Slip Away to be fairly essential in PvP. But then, I play a medic. In PvE it also has great use when solo, but that use diminishes the larger the group size.
  19. I'm suffering from this also - 8/9 codex entries and no title. Ticket submitted.
  20. Shameless bump. No views? No medic had the urge to go conealment?
  21. I think we're in a really nice place TBH. I know that my guild really likes my healing in Operations. I team up with a sorc and when either of is mind-trapped on SoA HM the other barely bats an eyelid keeping people alive (provided they don't do silly things with the balls). I often push big numbers healing in PvP as well. I just broke 400k in voidstar last night which made a BM sorc (I have champ gear) cry a bit saying we're OP. lol. For a healer, we also bring considerable burst dps when required. Nothing like HS + BS + shiv + delibitate + finish on low HP targets Saying that, a concealment OP in my guild got me to spec Concealment last night so I'm running that in medic gear with some sucess.
