(Which quite honestly looks terrible). What type of game would you want to see from lucasarts announced this year? FPS? RPG? Fighting game? Action adventure? Kids game? Another RTS title? AydenStorm Posted February 15, 2012 Share Posted February 15, 2012 I would like to see another Star Wars RTS with more of the elements of "Rebellion" rather than "Empire at War". Just throw in some meaningful ground combat and bam! Great game! I would also like to see another Republic Commando game, or the shelved "Imperial Commando" Game. You can be a Force User, and you can join the Empire or the Rep and become a Jedi. Just like you can be a wizard and join the Greybeards or the Brotherhood of Darkness. Planets/Locations: DK, Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa and, a war-torn planet. When you travel from one planet to another, you can get interrupted by Pirates or Empire(If your Republic) Or Republic(If your Empire). ^ My little Fantasy. I will admit that if you want an open world, with pretty much anything to do... Bethesda is the best, which is why it is their own niche within the RP strata of games. Unfortunately, the chance of a new X-Wing alliance or X-wing Vs TIE Fighter is... Pretty much 0 unless it's made by the fans. Same with a RTS. Why? Games like those don't mix with the consoles like Xbox and PS3. Those (Unfortunately) are the focused media of the day... PC comes last after consoles and hand-helds. Which leaves us with... FPS or Third-person action/adventure. Playing as a Stormtrooper for once would be... Interesting? Actually putting you in the helmet while you deal with rebels before... Something happens? An awesome level would be putting the player in the cockpit of an AT-AT. Battlefront 3. Really needs to happen. Throw in some more sub-system stuff in space battles (And larger ship interiors). Force Unleashed 3, maybe. Two was a flop due to no budget and being rushed. It'd benefit if the game was... Slower. There wasn't much... Impact of gravity felt from picking up Stormtroopers or anything... They were just 'wooosh!' without any effort. Lightsaber combat was the same, there was no vindicating IMPACT when striking anything. Maybe if Dark Forces 2 was re-made in the Styling of Force Unleashed with slower, more impact based saber combat. (like monkey island or grimm fandango) I think the clone wars 3d series art style would go really well with that kind of game and it's one of the better ways to tell an interactive story. Anyways: Battlefront 3a New Jedi Knight/Academy with Kyle Katarn My all time wishlist: Is something featuring Luke Skywalker voiced by Mark Hamill.. so an older Luke tearing things up. Basically like The Force Unleashed series.. but way better, and longer.. and more RPG like (KOTOR?) but with Luke in his 50s. Eating everything. Single Player -Squad based combat for your wing men. -RPG elements like being able to improve your fighter, wingman skills. -A story line that is effected by the choices you make in battle, kill or capture, inspections, recovering cargo vs. destroying it, escort missions etc. If you fail you don't go back, it just branches the content. Multi player 32 or 64 player team or deathmatch style. AND 5-8 person flashpoint style missions User creatable content with triggers for events. And don't dumb it down for console controls.
