Issenor
After the first expansion has been out for this game, all the people whining and nit-picking stuff right now will be lamenting and missing the "good ole days" of vanilla swtor and talking about how much "better" it was. pursang
No. Generalizations are bad. Ergo this thread is bad. And you should feel bad for making it!
Qoojo
The same people will also be talking about how the expansion ruined the game.

racsofp
The expansion did ruin it. I remember way back in the goodl old days when you had to run through an orbital station and an airlock to get to a new planet. We also had to hit the sprint button again after we died or else we weren't sprinting. Also we did all this uphill in the snow both ways.
mangarrage
All depends what direction they take If they add lfd and macros then yea I will want vanilla swtor If they actually take the time a make some raiding that is actually difficult and start believing in risk vs reward I wont
Balrizangor
Midegts dressed like clowns but in all purple and yellow, riding on tiny ponies with jousting gear yelling "Farsooth" and "Have at thee" in little voices while I eat ice-cream ... This is what I think is funny ...

stem
When people reminisce about ‘Vanilla’ versions of a game, it’s typically about the player created content which evolved from the lack of content. (ie. the world PvP battles at South Shore / Tarren Mills in WoW) I’m not sure today’s MMO players are capable of creating their own content. They’d rather vent in forums about not having another rollercoaster in their themepark. Edited February 8, 2012 by stem

chuleh
With all the bugs and errors the game has they should've released and expansion already rather than patches.
