  1. Having followed the games development from the start, I leave it having confirmed most people’s initial prediction……. Story and voiceover’s hold little long term value in an MMO. People want content, features, and customization. That might come in time, but it’s pretty obvious which holds a subscription model longer……. and it’s not voices.
  2. Ignorance is bliss and having a constant reminder in the top corner of your screen about how ‘lonely’ your server is, isn’t good for peoples perception. MMO players are fickle with lots of options. If they even think they smell rot, they’ll pitch a game and grab a fresh one.
  3. I try and point a fingered at why TOR holds so little appeal for me, but can’t really. It’s the MMO burn out. Knowing that with each patch/expansion any gear/rewards I’ve earned will become obsolete, I have little incentive to attain them. If you play MMOs for the destination and not the journey, you’ll inevitably be disappointed.
  4. Seems silly to be waiting for guild banks. There's very little function of a guild anyone cares for outside the bank. Unfortunate for BW to have released without it.
  5. Fine balance between clicking and keybinding. As a group healer, there's really no way around clicking Portraits.
  6. F2P works, but creates a huge divide in the community between who's 'paid' and who hasn't. Paid more? You're 'better'. They're made that way intentionally and is why they’re profitable.
  7. I see good things coming, but the problem is, there are so many MMOs out there, nobody needs to wait around for one to 'get good'. They leave and come back when things are good.
  8. If it's entertaining, I'll play. Right now, I'm more entertained by old movies on NetFlix.
  9. Most MMO grinds are rendered a waste of time with any significant patch or expansion. ….. is that still news to anyone?
  10. Good info. Thx. Odd they wouldn't try and cross faction objectives in neutral areas like they do in many other MMOs….. which is also boring for those of us who like more of a challenge in game than simple questing. Why did they bother make PvP servers?
  11. Maybe I just don't know how, but comparing gear for sale with companions gear..... always shows comparison to my main.
  12. I joined a PvP server in the hopes that I'd be contesting with the opposing faction during world quests. I've yet to even glimpse anyone of the opposing faction….. and I’m a Republic player.
  13. I like my numbers. I don't care about anyone elses but I'd like to see mine.
  14. I'm sitting at level 25 with little to no interest in developing my character further. My crafted gear is as generic and useless as the next guys. Automatic companion quests and recipes learned, as expected, offer no sense of accomplishment or attachment. There’s nothing ‘unique’ about my leveling experience and there’s little option to vary from the narrow tunnel the game’s pushing me down. While people hate the comparison, in WoW, you at least had the choice between two different leveling area’s for any given level range. That choice and those areas defined my characters. Current subscriber but seeing as the only interest I’ve had in game in the past two weeks has been to sign into the forums, I doubt for long.
  15. I haven't played in over two weeks. Why? I've little interest in signing in.... am I'm only level 25 of my first play-through. The lack of any guild features is a huge issue. Topped off with the fact that my crafting is nothing more than a credit sink and hardly useful to my other guild members, I’ve nothing spurring me forward in game. I don’t even see level 50 as a goal but more of a beginning to the end. Voice and story, as expected, are highly overrated and expensive content in an MMORPG. Current subscriber...... questionable re-subscriber.
