The Corso bit is so fn true. Thankfully, you can actually turn that ability off, but I have been asking myself why on Earth did they give a ranged class that ability, especially when Corso himself is ranged.

Well they gave my vanguard 3 5 meter attacks and a 5 meter interrupt. All to go along with a pull that my melee sentinel doesn't even have.

I see Vanguards as assault specialists, like SWAT officers.

I believe the general effective range of a SWAT officer is around 8-10 meters or less, because they bust down doors and enter enclosed areas. So, a class that is modeled somewhat after SWAT would have close-quarters combat training and be more effective in a closer range. I mean, Riot Strike, Stock Strike, Storm, etc. make it clear what the Vanguard is supposed to do.

I've been a Yahtzee fan since he was making adventure games years back. His reviews are epic. Even if I don't agree with any of it they always make me giggle. Check his Resident Evil 5 review.. epic. Edited by TIKank

before anyone rips on the guy because you perceived that he was insulting your game. Look up his Cataclysm review, his BF3/MW3 reviews, Final Fantasy review, and Dead Island review for negative reviews.

Then look at Portal, ME1 and 2, Dragon Age: origins, and TOR for the positive reviews...

You can tell when he really hates a game and when he likes it.

P.S. Yahtzee is awesome, and probably the most honest reviewer in his bias.

The bit about Corso reminded me of when I played the Jedi Knight during beta. Originally T7 had a grapple move that pulled enemies towards him. Too bad YOU needed to be in melee range too, so whoever I began to attack would be pulled completely out of range at the start of every fight. Thank god they switched it to T7 jumping TO the enemy instead of the other way around.

I remember that, still don't know why a ranged would do that, same goes for Pierce for Sith Warrior, he rocket jumps into crap too, he's carrying a rifle.
