600w isn't low at all, in fact it even has plenty of headroom for a 2nd GPU to be added later. A typical sandy bridge build like this one will consume 300w peak under maximum load. You need to remember that modern hardware typically uses less power than older generations, not more.

Not true. We've had the panels go dead after locking only one row and that's with going as fast as possible, sometimes it's 2 and sometimes it's 3. Honestly, it's just entirely random and any pattern you think you see is just the random sequence that happened to work for you on the one time it didn't bug out.

No, it won't. All these silly voodoo tricks are useless, we've tried them all. What really works is solving it as fast as you possibly can before it bugs out and just reset and try again if/when it does.
