  1. I'm having the same problem, the only answer I've found is just to uninstall the game, find your install disks, throw them in the garbage where they belong, and move on with your life. They cannot pull it together. It sucks that the company behind the game has to **** with it and step in front of it's success, but they do it time and time again. Good riddance, one less headache.
  2. I do appreciate the help, and info though. No sense going through all the trouble of installing thr 6770 if it's not going to be able to run the game smooth. Hopefully the 6870 is solid.
  3. Well I decided to order the 6870. It's kinda frustrating doing this stuff when you hear "you got the 6770? for $20 more you could have gotten way more out of the 6850" then "you got the 6850? for $20 more you could have gotten way more out of the 6870." then "you got the 6870? for $20 more you could have gotten the 69..." you get my drift. It's the nature of the beast I guess.
  4. My resolution right now is 1680x1050. I'm currently using a Radeon 4200. I'm sure I'd feel like the 6770 is an improvement over what I have, but if the difference to jump up to the 6850 is significant I'll do it. 40-50% definitely sounds significant.
  5. Hey, I just picked up a Radeon 6770, and 600w power supply to upgrade my p6674y. This was the best card they had at Best Buy in my price range. (on sale prices were comparable to that of Newegg, so BestBuy wasn't a cost issue) I haven't opened up the new card yet, but the more I look around online today I'm kinda wishing I would have ordered a Radeon 6850. Now I'm looking for some feedback. Is there going to be enough of a difference in performance between the 6770, and 6850 that I should hold off, order a 6850, and return the 6770... or will the 6770 run this game comparably? I don't plan on playing much else, so this is really only relevant to this game. I know the 6850 is better, but how much better? And I don't mean by the numbers, because I won't understand what you're saying. Just looking for a general idea of whether it's worth the trouble to get the 6850, or if the 6770 will be solid. Thanks.
