  1. weird that my Disrupt is only on a 6 second CD.
  2. =D As I said in the other threads, my only complaint is the nerf to DI cast times as a healer. That is going to hurt Sorc/Sage healing very badly in the long run. The double dipping needed to be fixed, but this makes healing a real problem. I'll continue to play my 31 mad spec, and still rip people up though.
  3. Why? I'm not comparing Sorc to any other class. You invited that comparison, but I don't know why, as that wasn't what I was referring to.
  4. I didn't say that. You said Hybrid was the only viable group spec, but 31 Madness is super viable. I'm not going to explain that to you, you can figure it out on your own, or re-roll.
  5. How is instant cast CL the best kiting spec? Root on a KB on a 20 sec CD? How about a root on a 12 sec CD with a DoT? Like Kryt said though, shelve your sorc anyways.
  6. You're playing the wrong game then. This game is built around Rock, Paper, Scissors. Always has been. That's the design philosophy, and that's how BioWare will continue to balance the game.
  7. Right? Too many people relied on the AoE crutch to think they were good. In other news, I would like to point out that Anni/Watch actually did get a buff, not significant, but a buff none the less. Good thing I play both these classes lolz.
  8. Because a root on a 12 sec CD > a KB root every time. Plus, it's a DoT. Ramp up time as Madness is a non issue. Also, Sorcs aren't meant to be effective against every class, so I don't see what the problem is.
  9. 6% less damage on FL, but more damage on Shock and Affliction. 4% less innate crit on FL, but 20% damage buff to CD. Wrath, overall, got a buff. Madness is, and as it always has been despite what this forum thinks, the best DPS PvP spec. It has the best control, and it's DoTs will tick even harder now. My only problem with the Sorc/Sage changes is that DI can no longer be reduced to a 1.5 second cast. The double dipping needed to be fixed, but taking this out of the equation has completely nerfed Sorc/Sage healing. I can live with the Consumption changes, but now attempting to heal in Warzones is going to be a joke.
  10. The answer is a power adrenal. Also the boost is applied to bonus damage. Not back to the expertise, because that would just be circular, and net you no gain.
  11. Same reason I bought 5 pairs. Because you're a girl and you like your shoes.
  12. Which is it? Is he talking about PvP, or PvE? Because when he says things like "and all the gear that was green being equal to my purples from BWL and dropping from trash mobs, I couldn't bear to see tards with the same gear I had worked for"; it's implied pretty heavily he means PvE gear.
  13. He's talking about PvE gear though. And the nature of expansions, particularly those with level cap increases, means you are going to have gear become dated.
  14. Main stat is ALWAYS better than the secondary stats. It's the same way in WoW, and will be the same in every game.
  15. Strength>Expertise though. It's not about the 2 pieces at all. There are these things called off pieces.
  16. Mixing Rakata with BM > Columi with Champ lrn2 min/max
  17. The real thing, is actual "hardcore" pvpers (you know, multiple BM toons) understand why gear progression through ranking is retarded.
  18. There is an abnormal amount of misinformation in this thread. Been fun reading it though.
  19. Centurion gear should have been purchasable with credits from the start. Champion gear being purchased with credits is a logical movement. War Hero gear will be significantly better than Battlemaster, and thus Champion as well as Centurion. Limiting new 50's to grinding out Centurion gear while people are wearing full BM or WH is going to hurt PvP much more than people getting easy starting gear. But, whatever. People are going to ***** ayways, and people are going to quit regardless. Most of the people that complain won't get past 2200 anyways.
  20. Id like to see confirmation too. Last I heard, from Gabe himself on stream, 1.2 would have 8 man premades.
  21. But you still have to put in time to get gear for PvP. It's not like gear is free. Sure, you don't need a specific rating, or Valor rank to get it, but you still have to put in time. It's also important to note that this tier is strictly for the pre-season. You have no idea how the progression will be handled in season one. You don't even have an idea of what gear will cost come 1.2. To be competitive in ranked, you need BM gear, or at the very least Champion. Then you can progress to War Hero (or BM then WH). Season one will have new gear, so now you need to progress to get that. I don't see why there needs to be a ranked progression, when ranked progression is about skill, not gear disparity.
