  1. I did all of the GSI missions on Alderaan on Satele Shan just yesterday. Are you sure you don't have them in your mission log already?
  2. While we're at it, how about letting us choose the width of the lightsaber blade? There are a lot of cool hilts that I can't use because I hate the overly thin blades.
  3. Before 7.0, when you wanted to change outfits, you selected the outfit you wanted and then clicked "activate" (or double clicked, which also activated the outfit). Starting in 7.0 the activate button was removed and now selecting an outfit automatically activates it. This seems to have been a deliberate change, but it was a very bad one. Now there is no way to view or modify an outfit without making it your active outfit. You also can't build a new outfit without making it your active outfit. The end result is that I end up traveling to my stronghold whenever I want to change or modify outfits so that other people don't see me cycling rapidly through outfits looking for the one I want (most of my characters have 10+, some have the full 16) or wearing an unfinished outfit while I search for the right pieces to put in it. One of the things I liked about SWTOR was how easy it was to change outfits, but now you've made it more inconvenient. Tl;dr I should be able to view and modify my outfits without activating them. Please bring back the activate button.
  4. I support this suggestion. Extra xp gain should always be optional.
  5. I've always thought every item in the game should be in Collections. That's what other games do. Event items would be a good place to start.
  6. Please no. I recently remade a bunch of my old characters from Star Forge on Satele Shan so that I could replay and record their class story. Merging would force me to do it on the EU servers which would probably mean worse performance. Bioware shouldn't merge anything unless they first make all content in the game replayable.
  7. New factions are an incredibly stupid idea. They can't even manage to create content for the two we already have. In an alternate universe where the game has infinite resources sure, but that's not a realistic suggestion.
  8. I'd prefer they just make them sellable again. I agree that destroying them is a pain. A mass destroy option would also be good, since that would be useful for cartel items too.
  9. I didn't see this reply when it was originally posted, but I'm dreading the threatened update of the starter planets. Not that a graphical update in itself is bad, but the performance on the more recent planets is so bad for me that if they make the whole game like that I will no longer be able to play.
  10. I noticed the same thing. It would be more helpful if they stayed in the same slot.
  11. The real problem here is that some of us paid $40 for something that they're now giving away for free via a bug. The fact that they removed Vindican's Lightsaber from the Cartel Market shows they're aware of it, but there has been no comment addressing the issue whatsoever. I would like to know whether they plan on removing the dualsaber from those who acquired it without buying the Collector's edition, or whether they plan on refunding those of us who did pay for it. I have cancelled my sub until this is addressed. Incidentally, I have Vindican's Lightsaber too, and can't use it because there's no way to reclaim copies from Collections. This is also an issue that needs to be addressed. But I'm a lot more angry about paying $40 for nothing.
  12. Well, I've finally figured out the source of our disagreement. To me it's a game, to you it actually is a chore because you're only doing it in order to gear up. The solution here is not to ruin the content for the sake of your fast gearing, but for them to change gearing so that it doesn't require doing content you dislike. Although I'm still a bit confused as to how you're gearing up from solo content in the first place – isn't the best gear only available from ops?
  13. You say it's not more challenging. But you've also said that the majority of players are bad. I would venture to guess that most people do find the Eternal Championship challenging. As one of that majority I certainly do. If the game were a chore, then being able to complete it more efficiently would be preferable. Since it's something I do for pleasure, I don't see why shorter would be better. I play for the experience, and a trivial experience isn't fun or worthwhile. You didn't answer my question either. Why do you want to do more in less time? You say that the game should be a mix of challenging endgame content and trivial older content, but you also said that you don't even play endgame content. So you want to play only trivial content? Why? Why should any content be trivial?
  14. I didn't say it doesn't take longer for me. Just that the difference is so small that the reaction seems disproportionate. The way people talk about it you'd think the entire game was the same level of difficulty as the Eternal Championship. When in fact it's perfectly normal and comparable to other games, just less of a cakewalk. You said earlier that you didn't understand my point of view, and honestly I don't really understand yours either. If you want everything to be trivially easy, why play at all?
  15. Because I wasn't here 7-10 years ago? And because it doesn't take 3-4x longer? The way people talk about the change on the forums doesn't match my actual game experience at all. Apart from that, I play the game for the solo content. I've never done any master mode flashpoints or operations. So it's all very well for people who do those things to say only those should be challenging and everything else should be trivially easy, but that doesn't make sense for my playstyle at all.
  16. Disagree. I don't want any content to be trivial. That doesn't mean I agree with all of Bioware's choices here - there seems to be a problem now such that a level 80 character can be weaker in scaled content than a character of the appropriate level, which is backwards - but I agree with their general idea that it should not be trivial.
  17. I think a lot of people don't know how to vote kick in GSF. I didn't figure it out until 7.0 started, because before then it wasn't much of an issue. I"ve been playing GSF for the last year or so. The queue times have never been 20-30 minutes, not even close.
  18. As long as you're defending the satellite, you won't get marked as noncontributing (even if no one is attacking). No one could kick you even if they wanted to, which they wouldn't since that's how bombers are supposed to be played in domination.
  19. Yeah, I also thought it was a weird decision to make these a tech fragment sink (when there are plenty of things to spend tech fragments on already) rather than a credit sink, of which the game stands in need. The only thing I can think of is that they had to keep the credit cost low in order for them to be obtainable by f2p and preferred players who have a 1 million credit limit. Of course, the solution to that would be to raise the limit to 10 million. I don't think that's unreasonable at this point. That being said, I wouldn't mind just making them cheaper in general so that new/poor players can have more outfit options.
  20. Please bring back Kuat Drive Yards. There are a bunch of achievements and a reputation track associated with it. These will be almost impossible to obtain if it's not in the group finder.
  21. Edit: I totally misunderstood your post, so please ignore everything I said. I don't see it available on my lower level characters either. So it could be they just removed it. I agree they should bring it back since those decos are now apparently unavailable.
  22. Look in General Discussion. JackieKo confirmed it a few minutes ago.
  23. Edit: I totally misunderstood your post, so please ignore everything I said.
  24. It could be a bug in communication rather than in the game.
  25. Same. I figured that was how it was intended to work.
