  1. I don't think the outfitter should be revamped. It's much better than the WoW system where you have to pay every time you change your outfit. However, I would love it if they revamped *Collections* to include every outfit, mount, &c. in the game, not just the CM ones. That would solve the problem of having to keep old gear for the sake of cosmetics.
  2. The way the map filter menu works currently, the window closes after you check a box. Most of the options are unchecked by default. So if you want all of them checked you have to open it up, check a box, open it up again after it autocloses and check another box, and repeat the opening and autoclosing a whole bunch of times until all of them are checked. It's a very frustrating system, which could be easily fixed by not having the menu close after you check a box.
  3. Hi JackieKo, although you said that you wanted to bring back the appearances that were removed with 7.0, several of them are still unavailable, specifically the ones that used to be rewarded by the starter planet missions (Apprentice Force-Lord/Boltblaster/Pummeler/&c MK-1 and MK-2). Others are available only via level-based heroic rewards, which means that higher level characters can't get them. Please keep you promise and make them all obtainable again. Perhaps you could add them to the specialty gear vendors along with the current planetary mission rewards.
  4. I have been experiencing a similar issue, although for me it was quickbar 3, slot 12 that I was unable to place abilities in. After some experimenting, what I have discovered is that there is a "dead space" to the left and right of Utility Bar 1 and Utility Bar 2, as though they are about three boxes longer on the grid than they appear to be. If you put any quickbar in that "dead space," you won't be able to place abilities there. I hope Broadsword will fix this, but until then the workaround is to adjust the positions of the quickbars relative to the utility bars.
  5. I had that problem recently. I was able to fix it by importing keybinds from another character. However, I have also experienced a similar problem where my screenshot keybind doesn't do anything, and the fix doesn't work for that one.
  6. Not only does the planet look duller and less saturated, they also changed the trees. You can see this in the OP's pictures - previously the trees had horizontal bark like birches, which gave the planet a unique look. The new trees seem to just be recolored assets from other planets. If the "texture upgrades" are going to be this lazy, I'd rather they not do them. But what's even worse than that is that the ground now looks like a pixelly blur while moving. It literally looks like I'm playing on an analog tv. Even the SWTOR team couldn't have intended something so horrible, but I don't see any acknowledgement of this issue. It seems to be a different one than the low texture quality bug, because the textures still look high resolution for me. It's just the ground that is a mess.
  7. I was the one who said that, not the person you're quoting. If you're going to accuse someone of moving the goalposts, you should at least make sure it wasn't two different people first.
  8. I don't know what you're buying on the GTN, but I check for various items every day on both servers, and I've never noticed any difference in availability. I was also able to complete the Nightmare Pilgrim seasonal objective this week on both servers. 1. I'm glad to hear that, but it would still mean I wouldn't be able to create any new characters, so it doesn't really solve the problem. 2. Basically what you're saying is that the game should be made worse for me so that it can be made better for you, despite a perfectly good third option being available. 3. You misread my post. Emptier servers are less toxic because there are fewer people.
  9. If queues are the issue, then cross server queuing would solve that equally well. I don't want them to merge because 1. it would put me over the max number of character slots and I would have to pay to play all the characters that I can currently play for free, 2. sometimes I want to replay the story on my current characters and since the game does not allow this I can only do so by recreating them on another server, and 3. chat has become far more toxic than when I left the game a year and a half ago, which means emptier servers are less unpleasant to play on.
  10. I play on both SF and SS and would hate for them to be merged. Someone suggested cross-server queues and I think that would be a much better solution.
  11. It would be cool, but the weird collar that sticks out too far on one side ruins it for me.
  12. I would like to add that the response from Customer Service has been utterly inappropriate. Here's the reply I received when I sent in a ticket about this issue: Even after several times replying back and forth, I couldn't even get this person to understand what the issue was, let alone resolve anything. They refused to let me speak to anyone else and said they would close any future tickets without reading them. I tried calling phone support; they told me to submit another ticket - after which I got the exact same form response from the exact same person. This is not how you treat paying customers regarding an issue that is 1. your mistake and 2. involves real money. Bioware should have made a public statement saying they will make this right, either by removing the item from the people who didn't buy the Collector's Edition, refunding those of us who did, or providing some kind of compensation. The fact that they simply removed Darth Vindican's Lightsaber from the Cartel Market without acknowledging the issue suggests to me that they're going to do nothing and hope no one notices that everyone who bought the Collector's Edition got scammed. I'm so disgusted that I deleted the game after being subbed since 2017.
  13. Ignore prevents you from being grouped with people in PVE only. Doesn't affect PVP or GSF whatsoever.
  14. I had the same issue. Ran in in veteran through the group finder, did not do the bonus boss, and got zero points.
  15. Yes. I did buy the Collector's Edition and I have unsubscribed due to the fact that Bioware is giving dualsaber away for free that I had to pay $40 for. I want to reiterate this now because my sub runs out tomorrow. Bioware, you need to remove the item from those who did not purchase it or refund those of us who did. (In addition to fixing the lightsaber which I also purchased and am unable to use.)
  16. Nah. If it's only use is to make a political statement, it shouldn't be in the game. Instead make some more nice looking combos. i'd like to see some turquoise or teal.
  17. I'd also like to know. I liked leveling via GSF, but now it barely gives any xp compared to other things like flashpoints which I don't care for.
  18. Wait, was everyone supposed to get the legacy decos? Because I didn't get them either. I also have all class stories completed and have been subbed this whole time.
  19. What they ought to do is double the number of available outfit slots. Most of my characters have 10-16 outfits. I don't have enough slots to duplicate them all. But really they need to fix the outfitter so that we can use more than one weapon.
  20. Personally I'd love to buy cosmetic options for GSF, but they seem to be per character with no way to unlock them for my account. Frankly, I'm not going to pay for something that doesn't have an account unlock. Make them account-wide, or at least put them in Collections, and I'll buy a bunch of them. But until then, no thanks.
  21. Please bring back the Vindicator's Lightsaber and Vindicator's Saberstaff. I've always wanted these two weapons, but they haven't been in the Cartel Market for years. They didn't even come back during the Christmas sale when "all" cartel market items were supposed to be available. It's time to bring them back. How about putting them on sale for May the 4th?
  22. Support. I have a few of them, but I'm afraid to buy the legacy storage unlock in case it looks bad in cutscenes, even though it would be useful. Would love to have the option to toggle them off if needed.
  23. Personally, I would like to have a smaller version of the outfit tab. When I am previewing outfits, I sometimes need to have the character sheet open in order to unify/un-unify items because there's no way to do that in the preview window itself. But if I also have Collections, the GTN, the Cartel Market, and the preview window, it's really hard to arrange everything so that I can click on the items in the outfits at all, because the window is so big there's very little room to move it. Or you could just add an option to unify/un-unify each piece in the outfit preview window.
  24. I agree. I never understood why it doesn't work that way already. Seems to make more sense than the current system.
