  1. A popular Star Wars-related channel on YouTube decided to touch up the game's original theme (Clash of Destiny); and the results speaks for itself! Man, this only makes me miss the old Character-Select theme even more...
  2. The Krex were introduced in KOTET and JuS, bringing us a new major NPC for the Republic side. However, it seems like there's only three NPCs linked to this race. They kind of look like dinosaurs and I personally find them interesting, but there's almost nothing about them lore-wise.
  3. No. Dulfy left back in April of 2019. No news or confirmation from her part as far I'm concerned. She just poofed. A real shame as her website used to be incredibly useful for SWTOR, GW2 and ESO.
  4. I still dunno why this isn't a thing. It shouldn't be too hard, right? I mean some of the races and headpieces already hide hoods and such, so why not add a cosmetic that can do that across all characters?
  5. I know we're still a long way from celebrating Christmas again, but I couldn't help but feel like Life Day is probably the weakest event out of everything else? Apart from decorations popping up here and there, the only thing that players can do is throw snowballs, attack droids and buy items. That's about it. What saddens me the most is that most of the other MMOs out there have better ways to celebrate their Christmas event. These games tend to have special drops, unique instances (PvE or PvP), bigger map changes and more NPCs around. Even the vendors and the premium store have much more to give. I usually don't see much of a point of sticking around with SWTOR in December when Guild Wars 2, The Elder Scrolls Online and even TERA are throwing huge events to celebrate the holiday. I can only wish BioWare could add more to Life Day and actually make it memorable!
  6. I take immersion quite seriously in this game and try to make my roster feel as authethic as possible. I even go as far as giving them a personality and backstories. I've also grown quite attached to this era, perhaps even more than the Original Trilogy and the Prequels (the Sequel Trilogy is a joke). It's also the only current BioWare game that feels like the old BioWare, you know? It's also the only tab-targeting MMO that I actually enjoy. I dunno why. Maybe it's the flashy animations and the sound effects mixed up with the great soundtrack?
  7. I only wish these didn't cost so much. I've wasted millions on trying to get the right amplifiers, and it doesn't help that making credits takes a lot of time.
  8. Could you get into detail as to why? Back when it came out I sort of avoided that area like the plague. Being i230 hindered my progress and the map ran really poorly on my laptop. Both of those problems aren't present anymore, but I don't remember seeing the benefits of doing the quests there when I could just farm Heroics? Some insight would be welcome.
  9. Athena Karkanis wasn't all that great in the base-game, but she improved a lot by the time of KOTFE/KOTET. You can clearly hear that the actress is enjoying voicing the character and actually has fun with it. I liked her role in these expansions, sure showed us that there's room for improvement.
  10. The fact that KOTET, the Traitor Arc, Ossus and Onslaught have all been taking place in the spawn of one year seems a little... too much? By the looks of it, these four major events could have lasted another three years. I mean, the base-game alone lasted that long. I do hope someone from BioWare clarifies this.
  11. Ever since they overhauled the eyes (and in return fixed the glossy eyes glitch), one of the main colors has vanished: dark brown. But seriously, it would be amazing to see new eye colors (especially to the races that have only a handful of options in comparison to others), more hairstyles and even new face models!
  12. SWTOR used to have quite the fair share of collectibles before Disney bought the rights and all of that. Unfortunately, there isn't much left out there nowadays. But if you're interested, it's still possible to find keyboards, figurines, LEGO sets... and there's also the official Collector's Edition (which is pretty huge), the Encyclopedia, an Art and Guide book, novels, comics...
  13. I think they should be overhauled, but this kind of thing is rather common in other MMOs. There really isn't much one can do about it. Maybe increasing the time it takes for the mission to be completed (but in return boost up the rewards) could be one way to do it?
  14. We should have the option to select across which theme we want to be played during this screen. There's been many versions, and they all should be treated as the same.
  15. I don't get the people who spend hours complaining about the game in here, but still buy a subscription to continue on whining about how much they don't wanna pay for it.
  16. You can't update reports and neither should you get a reply from a CS representative when it comes to these. That's how it is... for most MMOs, if not all.
  17. I've been trying to focus on gearing up my characters, and my main so far happens to be a tank (Juggernaut). However, I'm really confused as to how these stats (Defense, Absorb and Shield) are supposed to work... and what sort of priority should be given to them. There doesn't seem to be a general consensus online, and there's not much to pick from to begin with. I even heard that each one of these stats depends on the class the player is rolling. Could someone please clarify me on this? I'm mostly thorn about what kind of augments I should be using, considering each one of them better focuses on one of the particular stats mentioned above. And if each one of the stats is best suited for a class, how would you mix it up according to the following: Guardian / Juggernaut; Shadow / Assassin; Vanguard / Powertech; Thanks in advance!
  18. I know this has been a thing ever since the game came out, but I would really like to hear someone from the BioWare team comment on this... and whether or not if it's a possibility. I mean, Guild Wars had it and it was quite well-received by the community.
  19. Hey everyone. I believe it's safe to say that I did a mistake by not preparing myself for the release of "Onslaught". I didn't expect there to be these many changes, and for the economy to inflate once again. I've been trying to gear up my main character (a Jedi Guardian) to i306 for these past few weeks... and have found myself struggling quite a lot with it. I run a bunch of [Veteran] Flashpoints a day (up to five or more), a couple of warzones and some Heroics when able. At the moment I'm still i282 and not sure of what I'm doing wrong. It's gotten to my attention that people can get there within days, and there's other who can sort out their entire roster in a week. I have so many characters and still haven't been able to adjust my main... What exactly am I doing wrong? And how can I get better credits? All the money I do running Flashpoints ends up being spent on repairs. I'm sinking down with all these SoW sets and tactical items; they're draining my dry and I have never been this lost in SWTOR. Does anyone have any tips? Any feedback is most welcome; I'm just really tried of running the same-old flashpoints over and over again just to see little to no progress whatsoever.
  20. O at least something about the utilities? Considering that even 5.0 was lackluster in that department, I doubt it... All of my characters had their utilities reset, and so I had to go as far as 4.0 to get a better grasp of what sort of utilities to use. Some combos aren't even possible anymore. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help (I have way too many characters).
  21. I seriously hope that's the issue here. Don't get me wrong, the maps are amazing. I could understand why the framerate was low in Onderon, considering the amount of detail and flora... but "Mek-Sha"? It runs really, really bad. What is also weird, is that instances run far better. Cutscenes run better. I just can't go out and do side-quests or explore the maps without the framerate dipping to 10. I was really planning to get some stuff recorded on this planet for an upcoming project, but I guess that's scrapped now.
  22. SWTOR has always ran well for me, even though I play on a laptop. I can play most of the mainstream MMOs without stressing my GPU enough, but these new maps... it's just awful. I never saw my computer heat up so much (even with two fans cooling it down). I can't even get past 20FPS in most areas, and it's tarnishing my enjoyment of the expansion. The only other place that runs like this is the train sequence in that flashpoint. But everywhere else in the world (including Ossus) runs just fine! Some areas even let me go as high as 100FPS. Has anyone else been experiencing similar issues? Here are my specs just in case: - Core i7-6700HQ 3.6GHz - NVIDIA GeForce 950m 4GB VRAM - 16GB RAM
  23. Ever since I joined SWTOR I've been wanting to get the CE of this game, even if it's just the code (although the physical version would be a lot better!), and haven't really been able to find any good sources. Does anyone know where I could get it (as a EU player) and if it's still possible to upgrade my account to CE status?
