  1. Once I catch you online, I will contact you.
  2. Oh, that looks cool! I'll give it a go.
  3. Apologies, but... "I've been curious about the roleplay factor in SWTOR, but I'm not really willing to swap servers for the sake of it due to the already amount of characters I hold in this server and their respective friends and outfits. This is why I'm seeking here. I'm up for either Faction, and I would like to give it a shot." Roleplay is never my main goal. The PvE is. However, I do enjoy it and I'm willing to give it a try.
  4. Roleplay will never be the main focus. Ever. These games aren't designed for the sole purpose of roleplaying, and that would wind up being a waste of Subscription time. They're just a side thing that I wouldn't mind doing. And I would prefer to do so in my main server.
  5. Hello everyone. I've been curious about the roleplay factor in SWTOR, but I'm not really willing to swap servers for the sake of it due to the already amount of characters I hold in this server and their respective friends and outfits. This is why I'm seeking here. I'm up for either Faction, and I would like to give it a shot. You can either contact me via here or via in-game. My Republic character is Jullya Verra and my Imperial one is Segrthul.

  7. I thoroughly enjoyed my Jedi Knight campaign. Sadly the final boss was rather underwhelming due to the fact that I was nearly eight levels above the boss... so I crushed it with ease. I sensed personality on my character, but that also depended on the choices I made. I made her a good character that stays loyal to the Jedi Code, even though she does reveal some emotion and is attached to her companion, Kira. Kira and Scourge are two of my favorite companions, they're like the opposite and both provide different influences on my character. I do see what you mean. I have only finished the Jedi Knight and did hear many lousy things about the Consular's plot line, but I have to be honest and say that JK was really fun for me.
  8. I have always been curious about the roleplay in SWTOR. I was once a big fan of this, and would frequently seek it on different websites and games. But Guild Wars 2 left a bad taste on my mouth after the community pretty much killed itself last year. Sadly I believe that I'm on the wrong server in terms of the European region. I'm on Red Eclipse, and no, I do not plan to swap servers just for the sake of the roleplay. I will lose all contact with my friends, guilds and the outfits I designed for my main characters. But if there is a community on this server, I would like to know.
  9. From what I've seen, the population doesn't matter. The community seems to be rather anti-social and will either harass or ignore you. Just play the game as a singleplayer experience.
  10. I was bored.. so I messed up with a few cutscenes and came up with something that I believe is somewhat.. funny? Tell me what do you think.
  11. Thank you guys for providing the much needed explanations. I appreciate it!
  12. Hey guys. I am pretty new to this game. I already got the hang out of the base game at least, but I couldn't help but to have a few questions regarding what comes next. So I used an Outlander Token to get a character to 60 so that I could "test" KOTFE and I have to admit that it's been real fun so far. I know it'll be even better once I get a proper character to it. But I have to ask... since we see several Companions during these missions... does that mean that every Class Story is "canon"? That it really happened? That Kira really joined up with a Jedi Knight and did all of those things... that Vette was taken by a Sith warrior who decided to free her(probably).. that Kaliyo joined an Imperial Agent.. and so on? And also, what happens to the gear and the Customization that we give to a certain companion? I mean, I made Vette red with those black stripes and gave her this X armor. Will she still be red and carry that armor if I meet her again during KOTFE on a Sith character? My other issue is... I really want to play this game in order, from point A to Z. So after I'm done with the Class Story, what's next? And how do I access it? I know there's a Hutt Cartel thing.. and something about Revan? And yes, I'm a subscriber for now. I'm really curious and would appreciate the help!
  13. I have played many MMOs and games with online assistance for ages now.. and to be fairly honest, I have never seen such a flawed "Support" as the one this game has. Let's admit, EA and Bioware are huge companies.. and I have seen better Support from smaller ones. I mean, F2P and Preferred have no means of contacting Support via in-game. Not even via email... what if their game is experiencing something that really requires the attention of a the Staff? What if something bad happened to the account and the player or even others layers can't get around with? Not everyone is comfortable about doing these calls.. and they also charge extra and that is pricey. I had a bad situation. When I first bought the game, through Origin, the code was deemed invalid and my account was broken as well. Origin's Support was unable to do anything related to the matter. I couldn't use the Forums, the FAQs and general browsing didn't help either. I had no choice but to phone EA. And the problem only came to a fix after three phone calls. The item that I had purchased stated that my account would have received 30 days and 500 coins. However, the person on the phone only managed to add the 30 days and not the Pack's extras. I have sent an email to EA, because they had sent one with me stating that if I had any other problems I could contact via there. I also contacted them via the in-game Support.. and it's been a few days. Soon a week with the email thingy.. and nothing. I am willing to wait a few more days, but I'm really unsure of how this.. "system" works. What do you know about it? What do you think? What are your experiences about it? Please let me know.
  14. I'm still fairly new to the game, but I have played it for a week or so by now. I have visited several areas(capitals and starting ones) and played during different times of the day.. and it kinda feels empty? At least on the EU side. I have seen maps with over 100 people, but most of them just walk by.. and ignore, while the rest is just BOTS spamming the chat. I haven't really managed to make friends or to even use the Group-Finder thing. I guess I'm glad that SWTOR works well as a singleplayer experience, right? Maybe this is just me, but I would like opinions from people who have been around for long.
  15. Ugh, I'm sorry.. it's just.. this game has been such a pain and Support hasn't really been supportive.. then my "friend" just finds the situation so comical that it lead to me frustration.
  16. Hello. I am a new player, and so far I've had so many issues with getting one account ready in order to play this game properly. I'm playing this game with a friend from Poland. I'm from Portugal. We were debating about how would things go if we were purchase a 60-day subscription. I shared my thoughts on the amount that it asks: 27€. Then he went to see for himself.. and his discovery is quite.. baffling. 60 days, in Polish currency is around Zł 59,99... which roughly translated to.. 13€! How? How is this possible? Isn't this just ridiculous? If these countries can have it cheaper, why cannot Portugal? Or the countries whose economies are just bad? You can't possibly compare Portugal's state of economy to Germany or France.. I know even they have their own share of troubles, but still.. no comparison.. I just don't understand how this works.. Being a college student, money doesn't come by easy and now I discover that he can buy 60 days for the price of 30 in my case? I'm just speechless. I really can't believe this game, I really can't. First, I bought the game through Origin and the code was invalid, and my account was broken. Origin's support was unable to do anything regarding this matter. I had no choice but to PHONE EA(with extra costs)... and it had to be three phone calls in order to get a 30-day subscription.. and that wasn't what I had paid for exactly. I had bought the Package that would have come with a few rewards and extra 500 coins, which didn't happen'. I tried my luck with the in-game support and nothing so far.
  17. Hello everyone. I am new here, and I just bought the game from Origin(which then lead to a series of issues) and now I can finally play the game. In January, my subscription will end, and I will become a Preferred player, which was my intention from start as I cannot pay monthly. And after some research, I come to some kind of.. problem. After the subscription ended, will I be able to play six or eight characters? I know the average is six, but since I have joined the game right after the newest expansion's release.. I wonder. Any sort of reply is appreciated.
