  1. Exactly. This has been a "problem" couple months after the launch of the game as well. And honestly, i just don't understand the need of some people to tell others how they should play.
  2. 1. yes trials end, so does the free to play. Up to a point, you are unable to play the game since you are locked from levels and content. 2. I know, however, there are still new players looking for any information available 3. irrelevant This is not a whine thread. Everything i said here is 100% fact. This was basically me experiencing preferred for the first time, and literally wondering how they even call it free to play. It is not worth at all to play the game, unless you sub, which is fine by me. Just don't false advertise. Happy new your to you too. And yes it is advertised as a free to play, while the actual access is extremely limited. I don't understand people making excuses saying things like "you should read fine print etc". How about reading a faq instead? Also, don't get me wrong. I have nothing against subing. In fact, i would advise anyone to do so. And yes, the current sub model is generous considering the amount of content you have access to. Just that current F2P models, is not what they say it is.
  3. This is aimed at those who are curious about the game, and are thinking about starting playing it, because it is advertised as a free to play game. It is not. It is a trial version of the game, at best. I've always been subscriber. I started playing the game when it first came out, and for the next couple years i played the game on and off. Now, after several years i returned. Today, my subscription has expired, and due to my account issues, i won't be able to resub for next couple of days. Amount of restrictions are staggering. From limited content access, to being unable to access your credits (game currency), not being able to use high/higher quality gear, to small ones, like being unable to use titles, legacy titles, whispers etc. And it is even worse for "free to play" players, since for them (you), restrictions are even worse. After your subscription ends, you enter the so called "preferred status", which is somewhat preferable to "free to play" status. What especially feels like a punch in a gut for me, is that i spent over 100 euros on the game during the past month since i returned, and the game is like, thank you for your money, you can go now.
  4. Thats the sad part. They could have been really fun. I just don't understand the long global cooldowns and generally low damage, except for stomp. Also, during one of the missions, if i were being hit by another walker enemy, it will trigger another global CD on my skills. I am not entirely sure if that was a bug or not, as i don't recall it happening during the later chapters.
  5. During the KOTET and KOTFE, bioware introduced new game mechanics where you board a walker, and sow mayhem upon your enemies. At least that was their initial intent for sure, the result is quite opposite. I honestly can't imagine anyone play testing this and approving it. It is beyond tedious, and simply boring. Movement is janky, and combat is slow and awful. Long global cooldowns, and underwhelming skills. It is far more efficient for my character to go on foot. It left me on verge of abandoning the entire campaign because of it after the first time it was introduced to me. Now i am on Iokath, and guess what, another walker segment.
  6. Hehe, i love when people tell someone to learn to counter assault vanguard. How do you counter two button rotation? Class requires no preparation for their biggest hitting ability (high impact bolt). Class has no cooldowns on their prime skill (ion pulse). The only thing you should be aware of is their 25% crit chance CD, and the only skill which actually needs learning how to counter it. Which is also irrelevant in a way since most WH vanguards already have 40%+ crit chance. In a way, attacking a vnaguard is actually helping him, since it reduces his shield cooldown. The class is anything BUT a glass cannon as some people here stated. The only way to "counter" a vanguard is to burst him down first, which most people will find difficult to achive. Im not saying the class is OP, im saying the class itself is utterly retarded, minimal efforst, maximal results.
  7. Even though i don't agree with the OP regarding the darkness tree + dps gear, i do agree about the part where the tanks with tank gear got screwed. I think "tanks" in dps gear are barely feeling any difference, but i as a pure tank sure do. Nerfing the self heals was fine with me, but nerfing our armor wasn't, i honestly can't see why they did this except because of the "tanks" in dps gear, which is nonsense if true. My stats: HP: 23500 Shield rating: 53% Absorb: 50% Defence chance: 31.33% Armor: 5995 Damage reduction: 37.3% I die way to fast to be called a tank, even with a healer. Any similarly geared juggernaut will outperform me in similar situation. Sad truth is, "tanks" in dps gear are still OP, pure tanks got screwed in both pvp and pve.
  8. Not everyone, just those who got no clue what they are talking about, which is around 90% of the forum posts here about marauders. Anyway, i agree about the operatives, beside healing i can't see any use for them in RWZ. Maybe stealth guarding in voidstar or stealthing thier way to the enemy goal line or harassing enemy healer. True, there are some very skilled ops /scoundrels around, but not enough that's for sure, atleast not on my server. Yes i do believe they need some kind of utility buff, perhaps something at the bottom of the tree skill which makes shield probe more effective for example.

  11. Im on TOFN server and since yesterday general chat has become spam fest, not only that, they started spaming pvp and trade chats as well to the point i had to turn them all off. Also, it really becomes tiring when you see "yay people" after 50th time or so. And what's with the guild recruiting adds? Sounds more like some dating service for loners and such. "Hi! Are you alone and got no guild? You need people to socialize? if so, this is your lucky day!   12. I know what you mean, and it's a bug, for some reason last night stuns, knockbacks, mez etc. didn't work on occasion. Happened to me and my guildies.
  13. ANYONE who claims mara/sent is OP is completely brain dead. These threads just shows how clueless people are about marauder/sentinels. Their damage is OP, actually their damage is fine but the undying rage is OP, actually undying rage is fine since its easily countered, so now force camo is OP... Another proof is masses of people rolled maras after 1.2 then after they realized its to complicated for their limited brains to figure out the class IE, they did not top dmg charts, they did die countless times per warzone, they decided to roll vanguards, and they found what they always looked for. Something even easier to play then tracer missile spamming merc. Now they can backpaddle, they can keyboard turn AND kill ppl at the same time with just one press of a button, and that is what in my opinion is OP. Class requires no set up, you can literately key bind three buttons for skills, and four buttons for movement and you are ready, and of course you can always bind that fourth button for high impact bolt, 90% armor pen always comes in handy, alright five, another 4k dmg from thermal detonator cant hurt. They can nerf marauders in 1.3 things will still be the same, people don't want to think, people want to press buttons, they want to be tanks, healers, dps and support at the same time. Marauders will always be OP just as operatives will always be OP. Teams of stunlocking operatives who make people unsub are still here lurking, so will the OP maras, and so will sorcs and tanksins (in dps gear).

Why would anyone with half brain use their trinket when they are about to die? first of all, this isn't wow (Jesus), second, it doesn't kick you out of the combat so you can go heal yourself behind the corner, third, lasts 5 seconds, 4th, it IS needed simply because of the class design and mechanics which requires you to spend 99% in melee combat usually surrounded by 2 or 3 opposing players, 4th i do agree its cooldown is a bit low, one minute or 90 seconds would be more appropriate. PT/vanguards does way more burst dmg and not just burst but sustained dmg as well, second, PT/vanguard are not melee class, third, PT/vanguards require no set up for their rotation to be effective, their three button rotation makes them some of the easiest class to play, if not the easiest, and final, they are not glass cannons, anyone who claims this is a liar, the only glass canons in this game are operatives and scoundrels. Said what? It is a shared skill of sith wariors/jedi knights, big hitter every 30 seconds, 27 if speced. So it is not marauder specific skill. If you are just standing there taking it like a man while mara/sent is channeling ravage/master strike, the joke is on you.
  15. Huttball is most creative, most fun and most amusing warzone map i have ever seen in any game, and as someone else mentioned this before me, i think more variations of huttball would be great imo.
