You do realize it's a video game and if Arcann had use any of those methods it would be game over for you and everyone else playing this game? I mean, what's your point? You might as well use that argument against every single other lightsaber fight scene in every single Star Wars game movie, tv series, etc... So is it all bad writing, in your opinion?

You can always make a new character and make different choices that way.

Seconded. Especially after his betrayal I think it would be natural to want to take a break from the relationship. It can take a while for the trust to return.

Darmas Pollaran. Bring him back and rekindle the romance between him and the smuggler.

I agree and he should have a proper character arc too. Right now every conversation with him is either about his father or how he still has a long way to go to redeem himself. It's been like that since we got him. It's time for him to move on.

I played through the Consular story on Tython yesterday and was given a lightsaber at the end of it as usual. If your lightsaber is still missing then instead of starting the game all over again I would suggest buying a cheap lightsaber from one of the vendors at the Fleet or from GTN.

I hope it's true. She's a great character who deserved better. Vaylin possibly coming back is one the few things I liked about EoB... and the only (possible) future storyline I'm interested in (Rep vs Imp has been done to death already and the Mandalorian stuff doesn't interest me all that much either).

I disagree. Time to bring The Eternal Empire back. It's part of the story of SWTOR now (whether you like it or not won't change that) and shouldn't just be forgotten. I would personally like to see the Alliance restored to it's former glory... perhaps by re-creating the Eternal Fleet with Iokath's technology. Then it's time to attack Zakuul and make them regret turning their backs on us.

eoral, I agree with everything you said & had similar thoughts myself while playing. Another thing I was disappointed with was The Emperor not recognizing / remembering the player character. It made EoB even more pointless because it's not even a conclusion to anything then. KOTET's great final chapter was the conclusion and this was just unnecessary continuation / repetition (and I'm saying this as someone who loves Valkorion as a character and was so excited to hear he's coming back... but not like this).

Seconded. I used to like Lana but now she starts to feel almost as creepy and unwelcome as Liara in Mass Effect.

But they could find a way around it... if they don't want to bring Valkorion back then they could say his power is so weakened after the reassembly (or whatever it's called) that after possessing Satele Shan he disappears from known Galaxy for the time being to gather his strength and plot his vengeance. Or after betraying your allies to help Valkorion he immediately turns against you and you're forced to fight him after all, all alone this time. I would be fine with that too - because it would have still been mine and my characters choice to make, our mistake, instead of being given no choice at all.

Well, my SI let Zash keep her new body. Same could be done with Valkorion - he can keep Satele Shan for all my Inquisitor cares. It's like killing two flies with one swat. He doesn't care what the Emperor might do once his power comes back - he's confident he can beat him again if necessary as he has already done so more than once... so why not? And that's only one example. Other characters could have different motives. The point is, the player should be able to make the choice. Even if helping the Emperor turns out to be a bad idea. Choices & consequences.

My Inquisitor would love to romance her... she is the only being in the Galaxy worthy of his attention... so I hope they do bring her back! Ah, it would be so wonderful!

Reminds me of certain asari with unhealthy one-sided crush. It has already made me like Lana less as a character which is too bad because she is my mains LI. At the moment she seems to have no character arc of her own either. She's just there to be the BFF (whether your character views her as such or not).

He's the most powerful being in the Galaxy. Someone like the Sith Inquisitor might think that life is simply more interesting with him around.

Took me +10 hours. Haven't had problems since (I had this issue before this update and was able to fix it with this solution).
