  1. I didn't know that so thanks for the information. Still hate the choice to make male Revan canon. If Bioware had wanted they could just not have had Revan as a major NPC in this game though. In Dromund Kaas the Revanites even say it's not sure if Revan was male or female.
  2. There's a theory that the dark entity Baras has enslaved in Corellia is actually Darth Traya. Anyway, I hope they don't bring her back. She's one of my favorite video game characters ever, but her story is over and I see no reason to "ruin" her death and bond with the Exile by bringing her back in SWTOR. I already hated Revan in this game, he was insufferable douche and I hate that they made male Revan canon (I actually like to headcanon he's just the real Revan's son, much like Beelzlit from this game who took his fathers identity and title after he was murdered by the Sith Warrior)
  3. Same. She's a terrible companion to anyone who is NOT romancing her; clingy, codependent, overly attached to you... it gets very uncomfortable and annoying after a while. Like what's wrong with this woman? Not only that, but she's also utterly incompetent. Every single person she recruited for the Alliance ended up being a traitor. Nice job, Lana. I wouldn't mind if the kill option was there to be honest. From certain point of view she does deserve it.
  4. I think they stop talking after the decision in Chapter 3 of Inquisitors class story to either keep or release them. Then they just permanently became part of you as you have consumed their power & life force. The player character does reference them or rather the process to Valkorion a few times in the expansions but that's all.
  5. Picture of the hairstyle in question: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dulfy.net/uploads/2017/11/swtor-expanded-selections-fhairstyle-5.jpg Currently there's no dark brown hair color option available for this hairstyle (and some of the other cartel market hairstyles)
  6. Shock collar. Useful for Sith Inquisitors and Vette.
  7. Are you sure that's class story and not planetary mission? Planetary missions also have purple quest markers. It might be best to roll a new character if it has been years since you last played.
  8. After finishing Chapter IX go to your chapters menu and choose the Visions in the Dark chapter from there.
  9. Did you use the stump ability on them? Worked for me when I played it couple of days ago (didn't even use the modified armor cell and weapon cell stuff) But in general I agree Iokath enemies (not just the walkers, but especially them) are way too OP in many cases and clearly not working as intended.
  10. I recently replayed the BH class story and while it's a fun ride from start to finish it's still probably for me personally in the top 3 for least favorite class stories. Trooper is the only one I actually didn't like - it was boring and took me forever to get it done - and then I don't know if it's consular or BH as the second last. What's great about BH is how easy it's to play different kinds of characters; your BH could be someone who's solely motivated by money and getting the job done or someone who is a crazy psychopath who loves chaos and violence or as a honorable LS Mandalorian who lives by a code. Male BH's voice actor is one of my favorites from the game and for the female BH Torian is someone who keeps showing up in the later expansions so you'll probably have lots of unique content with him if romanced which is always great. BH's crew also certainly had some memorable faces - my favorites would probably be Skadge and Gault. Funny thing is though, when playing through the Great Hunt my Bounty Hunter didn't actually get to kill any of his targets personally: they were all killed by someone else or forced their way to my ship like Gault here. Felt a bit like cheating to win the Great Hunt without firing a shot!
  11. One that still to this day, many years and replays later, makes me tear up is Hunter's death. Someone else put it so well earlier in this thread... even though you've been enemies until those last few moments, it still feels like losing the other half of your soul when he dies. It's even worse for my main Agent because she was loyal to the Empire and gave the Black Codex to Jadus. It felt like betraying Hunter after what he had just said to her ("you're the last one like us left... don't ever let them stop you"). It's honestly not only one of the saddest moments of the game for me but also the hardest choice I've probably ever had to make in SWTOR. In the end my Agent stayed loyal, but at what cost... One of the saddest moments for me was playing through the final chapter of KOTET for the first time. My main is a Sith Warrior who believed in and was loyal to the Sith Emperor. To be betrayed again and being forced to kill him was great from storytelling pov, but terrible for my character and me. He had started out as LS, honorable and loyal Warrior - but every betrayal - first from Baras, then from Vitiate and now again Valkorion - pushed him further from whom he had been to this cold, emotionless monster who kills anyone who gets in his way. It's a great tragic story which is why I love my Warrior so much. I was honestly sad when Valkorion died because he's such a great character. Another sad moment is Senya's death... she didn't deserve it, but she had to protect her son. I understand. Her death scene is so well made - from her and Valkorion having one last moment together to the Outlander talking to her for one last time. It's so different depending on what kind of character you are playing. Which is exactly what makes this game great.
  12. I think it would just be nice to be able to finish the storyline in solo mode. Doesn't matter if it's just fighting the Dread Masters in similar fashion to how you fight against Revan. Something is better than nothing, after all.
  13. I know this has been requested for years - and for a good reason. Now that the 10th anniversary of SWTOR is approaching I think it's a good time to bring this up again. So I'm requesting making a solo mode for the final Oricon Mission / Dread Masters arc. It's a story arc that started with you freeing the Masters in Belsavis, dealing with the aftermath of their betrayal and then the missions on Oricon. It feels unfair to me that you cannot finish this story in solo mode when every other parts of it have been soloable.
  14. I would like Arcann's cybernetic arm and half-face mask too.
  15. All the races should happen in Tatooine. And his recruitment mission should be the first part of the next story arc just so that people don't miss it!!
  16. I have had this same thing happen with HK-51 for a couple of new characters when I get him. His weapon is level 51 and keeps blinking red.
  17. Don't you have to be a subscriber to even be able to write to these forums? Or did they change that at some point?
  18. Oooh! Nice. More suggestions to make this guy THE ULTIMATE SIDEKICK in this game are all welcome!
  19. SWTOR is a great Star Wars game but I think we can all agree there's something missing: a gungan companion! So in honor of the 10th anniversary I suggest bringing to the game a free gungan companion for all players. To honor the legacy of the great Jar Jar Binks our gungan companions should ideally be the "love to hate" kind of a guy. A mixture of Koth Vortena, Gus Tuno and Sera from Dragon Age would be the ideal blend to make this guy memorable. He should have his own companion conversations (like Treek and HK-51) and perhaps even a special recruitment mission and few appearances in future story content. To make sure all players would get to enjoy this new companion I would also add some special achievements to him. Here are some examples: - kill 1 million NPC's with gungan companion as active companion (unlocks purple twilek skin for account) - play every single heroic mission in the game with gungan companion as active companion (unlocks zabrak body tattoos for account) - etc!
  20. I love this game so much it's nice to see it mentioned even if it's only briefly.
  21. They don't even show up in cutscenes afaik, so yeah, I definitely agree they should be much cheaper.
  22. Would we still be playing the same characters as now or would this be more of a SWTOR 2.0 sort of a thing with brand new player characters?
  23. I think a day/night cycle at least would be amazing!
