  1. He's a full time baby sitter who dreams of being a real mandalorian
  2. It's nice to know we'll be getting a new story update for this game soon. Can't wait.
  3. I'm sure there are plenty of MMO's with no cutscenes. Go play those.
  4. Yes, I agree with you. I feel like the new story content simply hasn't been as good after the Eternal Fleet was destroyed and the Rep vs Imp conflict started again. It's sad because I've enjoyed this game for years and am very invested in my characters stories. I still get much enjoyment out of SWTOR because I enjoy replaying old content, but every new story content has been more or less disappointing to me (I enjoyed the traitor story arc especially for my knight, but for my Warriors and Inquisitor's it's been very underwhelming to go from being the last Eternal Emperor to Ascina's lackey).
  5. It's crazy how Mass Effect, SWTOR and Dragon Age have all suffered because of Anthem.
  6. This has happened to me a couple of times. Usually the issue resolves itself after multiple times of logging out and sometimes restarting the computer.
  7. I don't understand how the Life Day event and snowballs can be so annoying to someone. It's harmless fun.
  8. I like the idea of the Warrior/Inquisitor being the next Emperor/Empress as it's the only logical solution... it makes no sense for them to let a lesser Sith sit on that throne. As for Malgus I hope there are options as to what to do with him. Some of my characters would not trust him enough to let him live.
  9. Vinn is definitely one of the worst for me. Especially when he says something like "you win again, like you always do" even though you've just lost the entire eternal fleet and the eternal throne.
  10. I would like my cyborg to have purple eyes (same color as twileks, mirialan, etc already have as an option). If this could be added to the CC I would appreciate it.
  11. It's definitely true that some voices work better on a very specific character. The male consular for example. I didn't used to like the characters voice at all until I recently made a new consular who's a bit of a mix of General Kenobi and lord Dooku. So North's deep, vibrant and slightly uninterested voice worked perfectly for him. Whereas my female smuggler - whom I imagined was born to an upper class family and rebelled against them by becoming a smuggler - didn't sound anything like I imagined and I just didn't like the voice of the character at all because of it. However, a good voice actor in an rpg is supposed to be able to provide a performance that leaves room for the player to interpret the meaning behind said words. So that the same line could potentially have multiple connotations. I think SW's VA does excellent job on this front. You can easily play the warrior as dark side, light side, neutral, obsessively loyal and or completely self-serving (or anything in between). The female version of the character doesn't have the same range imo. Jo Wyatt (female agent) is also excellent at this, where different dialogue options in the dialogue wheel are purposefully said in completely different way: like she's playing more than one character at once, which is of course exactly what she should be doing.
  12. Well in my opinion male agents voice doesn't work well for a human character. It's so whispery. I think it works best for a zabrak, chiss or maybe Sith Pureblood.
  13. Worst: Female Smuggler. I just can't stand her voice. I like the character but something about the voice is just annoying to me. Someone said it sounds forced or like she's trying to sound southern. I don't know what it is but sometimes her delivery of lines is just absolutely terrible. Especially if you want your character to be cool and calm and she just comes across as quirky and trashy. Best: Female Agent. I love her voice, she's truly terrific and makes the character come alive. Big reason I fell in love with the agents story from the first. Honorable mentions go to male BH, male SW and male Inquisitor.
  14. I would rather have SH on Ilum. Or nighttime version of Hoth.
  15. How do you think the romance is going to go for a dark Knight who chose to ally with the Empire instead of the Republic? Personally I can't see Kira ever returning to the Empire or turning against the Jedi. Dark side Knight also kills Kira's Master in the Nathema Conspiracy flashpoint. I hope all of this is brought up at some point in time. I'm trying to decide whether my Knight should stay loyal to Kira or say '**** it' and romance Lana cuz Kira might dumb his *** in near future.
  16. No. I'm actually a bit sad to hear that, as a fan of the character and someone who's main is a warrior and just loved that storyline and the Eternal expansions. Still, I hope it's a good conclusion.
  17. Sad to hear it because I previously had very positive experiences with SWTOR's customer service. This was back in the day when I wasn't even subscribed and the service I got was professional, friendly and quick. Too bad it seems to have gone downhill in the recent years.
  18. Pantoran. It would work better for Republic classes than Chiss.
  19. Senya would definitely be a great choice though she doesn't really have the right temperament for politics. She seems to prefer to solve problems with her fists rather than her head. But I think she could get involved with Task Force Nova in trying to find the missing Jedi or even help the Order rebuild.
  20. If your Republic character chooses to rejoin the Republic they were told they will get to choose a senator from the Alliance ranks to represent Odessen in the Republic. I doubt we will get to choose... it will probably have to be someone like Lana or Theron, but personally I would LOVE the option to choose Arcann. He has some political experience and was an effective leader, to say the least. Also giving him responsibility is a show of trust and another step in his road to recovery. He's also my favorite character so I would just love new content with him. Who do you think should be the first Senator of Odessen?
  21. I was looking at it from a slightly different point of view: without the Eternal Fleet the Alliance is no longer the most powerful faction in the Galaxy. In fact it's little more than a relic now and to cling to it would be sentimental. In words of Overseer Tremel when something is no longer useful it should be eradicated. My Nox chose to return to the Empire, as it is the true power in the Galaxy now, but he's definitely not loyal to anyone but himself and one day he will steal Acina's throne. I really hope the next story update gives our Imperial characters (Wrath and Nox) the option to express their desire to dethrone Acina and take their rightful place as the Sith Emperor (no one else is worthy)- to Lana or someone. So far the dialogue options have made it seem like the former Eternal Emperor is all too eager to serve the Empire and it's weak Empress. That is not the way.
  22. How about taking a note from Lord Grathan's book and putting her inside a protocol droid? Forced to obey but still able to feel and think. An eternity of servitude. And then sent her to Acina.
  23. - Arcann's death. It was emotional playing KOTET back to back with two completely different characters: Knight who helped Senya save Arcann and redeemed him and Inquisitor who did everything he could to torment and taunt Arcann before he killed him. I couldn't enjoy Arcann's death scene at all even though my character sure did. - Valkorion's death. My first playthrough of KOTFE/KOTET was as the Warrior. I played him as someone who was completely dedicated to the Empire and the Emperor. So being betrayed, again, and being forced to be the one to ultimately destroy Valkorion was terrible for him. It was a good bittersweet ending to a great story though. - Hunter's death. I was sad he had to die. My Agent, who was the Hand of Jadus, ended up giving the information to Jadus's lackeys too. Hardest choice in the entire game, but in the end she simply did not believe she could stand up to the Sith and especially not someone as powerful as Darth Jadus... but it felt like a betrayal of herself.
