  1. I can never see anything either on GTN. Don't worry about being unhelpful xD I made this thread to VENT more than anything after spending like 3-4 hours grinding heroics then getting pure utter crap from the boxes. The worst thing is I keep getting remnant UNDERWORLD agent headgear insted of remnant RESURRECTED agent headgear :mad::mad::mad: Most frustrating thing EVER!!!! Got like 8-10 of them alone now.

Ugh, that's so frustrating... :( I looked on the GTN. The closest thing I could find is the Alliance Reconnaissance Helmet, which is sort of an inversion of the Agent's Resurrected Helmet - the eyes are covered, but the mouth and nose are not. :/ Or the Nomad helmet, where the mouth's covered and the eyes aren't, but there's this weird turban-like headwrap that goes around the head.

    Shoot. :(

  2. You and me both. :( Love the look of that headgear, and it'd look amazing with my agent's current outfit...aaaaand I can never seem to find it.

I swear there's other headgear that look like it, though. I just can't find them, but I know I've seen them floating around the GTN. Gah, sorry to be so unhelpful... I can't recall their name(s). I'm going to go comb through the GTN now to see if I can find them again.

  3. Quite frankly, if someone's "traumatized" by being "forced" to play as a character whose the opposite gender of themselves, they have much bigger problems to think about than that character's gender. For one thing, the character isn't a reflection or representation of them in real life.

On the practical side, no. Never going to happen. This is what re-rolling the character is for. Changing a character's gender when they've already started their story would screw up FAR too many things in this game's already-fragile code.

And on another side, let this discussion die. If it keeps going, it shall promptly be nuked by flame wars raging across the forums. Bottom line: it's not going to happen. Please - don't discuss it further.

  4. I haven't yet seen the version for Corso Riggs, but it sounds funny rather than disturbing...

Rather than, "My lord," apparently he just yells, "Howdy!" before unloading on the Smuggler. :D

That actually does sound disturbing. My smuggler romanced and married him. "Howdy!" is just his way of saying hi, everything's normal here--HOLY CRAP WHY ARE YOU SHOOTING AT ME!?

Anyway. Purple Quinn thanks you for the kind comments a page or so ago. :o He (and I) just got logged out of the forums arbitrarily, and couldn't get back in for a day. Sigh. We're back now.

Quinn: You say that as though I'm not a separate entity from you.

    ...uh...

    Quinn: *facepalm*

    Well, technically...

  5. Pretty sure it's an Agent gear piece. Thanks for the info. Any way to get specific crates for an alliance specialist? Because from what I see the only way to get them are heroics and it seems random which persons crate you get.

On the fleet, at the Heroics terminal, you're able to see which crates you get before you accept the mission. So you can pick and choose Heroics to only get, for example, Oggurobb's crates.

  6. Now I'm starting to doubt the hood up one exists!! I've gotten 2 alts up to 20 influence with Sana-Rae and have gotten basically everything twice, including three hood down robes. Ugh.

Uuurggh... that's awful. :( Well, they definitely do exist...apparently they're just rare? I thought the drop rate was low for the ones with the hood *down*. Hmph. Sorry about that.

  7. Unfortunately, I hit accept not knowing what it was about  Now I can't seem to abandon it! Does the higher difficulty level in the middle start to issue you command points if you play through it? Wonder if it would be worth it.

If you're at level 70, then yes, replaying chapters give you command points. Occasionally there's even a bonus for it (check the Galactic Command interface to see if the bonus is active for chapters that day).

  8. It's just a bug; it's being offered to *everyone*, regardless of where they are in KOTFE/KOTET. I think it started happening back in 5.0...? You can ignore it if you want to.

As for different difficulty levels... um, yeah, that's about it. There's no difference in story; choices you make on your second playthrough of various chapters don't carry over to other chapters. Only your first playthrough choices "stick" for that character.

  9. I too, am so grateful for this thread. :)

I have been thinking: what if Quinn in truth is a messy person and he only pretends that he is pedant? :p That would be amusing. :D Imagine the Wrath going away for a few days and for some reason, she comes back home earlier than expected, and sees a huge mess on the ship/in their home (e.g. empty pizza boxes LOL). Quinn would get a heart attack because of his secret being revealed, and the Wrath would also be in a shock. XD

    Quinn: I CAN EXPLAIN!

Filbert Widmark Pierce: ...no, you can't.

    Vette: Busted. So totally busted.

Broonmark: <Blllorp> [Translation: Sith Clan needs their eyes checked because they never noticed this]

Quinn: Oh, you're one to talk. Walking three-eyed furball...

    Broonmark: BLLLORP.

Quinn: Which one is the hairball you coughed up? Oh wait, that's your face.

    Broonmark: RAAAAAAAAGH.

    Quinn: *facepalm*

  10. Lol, I'm the only 12 year old playing this game, eh? No friends that actually play this game. Still fun though. I earned my subscription.

Might need to check the date of the last post on here... ;) I thought something was odd when someone said "Yeah, that's what I don't like about the forums, no search feature." Huh? Yeah, there IS a search feature--ohhhhh. Back in 2011, there wasn't.

  11. KotFEET

Knights of the Feet? o_O Um...sure! Sure, let's go...save the galaxy from, uh...evil pedicurists... (Kidding. :p And, truthfully, I'd do the same. I love KOTFE/KOTET, but I'd much, MUCH rather have eight different class stories, even if they were much shorter and sparser. I want my knight and consular to be different than warrior and inquisitor - my trooper and smuggler are different from my bounty hunter and agent. None of this "one story fits all" thing.)

OP - as for the server you're on, Prophecy of the Five is...well, rather dead. Apparently most people migrated to more populated servers like Harbinger. Which then contributed (probably) to the server crashing several times because of a perfectly ridiculous amount of people on it. Either that, or the sheer toxicity of that community made the server hamster faceplant into its little wheel repeatedly.....

Server transfers, if you're interested, are only 90 CC. If you want to move to another server, I'd highly recommend Ebon Hawk. It's very friendly and welcoming (save for the few odd trolls on the Imperial fleet/Dromund Kaas, but then again, what server doesn't have those?). It's also got a pretty healthy population.

  12. Often, cartel coin grants show up a few days to a week or so past when you're "supposed" to get them. It might just take a little while for yours to show up.
  13. This spider conversation has me thinking my husband is actually more like Pierce than Quinn. I picture Pierce killing them with his bare hands just like my husband does. Freaks me right out when he does that. 'Cept for the time (what we think was) a huntsman spider ran across our living room floor. That m'fer tested his mettle.

With his BARE HANDS!? I get squeamish even when I have to squish one using a paper towel or something...I tend to just grab for the nearest shoe. Preferably a hiking boot. XD

I can just carry spiders outside (in a cup) when they're small...but anything larger than roughly the size of my fingernail and I have a mini panic attack.

  14. I love almost all animals, except them. Ok, the jumping spider is the only spider I like, because it's small and funny.

Haha, my mom and I call those jumping spiders "ninja spiders." One of them startled me when I was sitting outside, and when I flinched away from it, not quite realizing what it was, it reared up onto its back legs and waved its tiny forelegs in the air while scuttling back and forth. It was all but doing karate poses, trying to be intimidating. I imagine that if you held a megaphone up to it, you'd hear a very tiny ninja yell. It was adorable. XD

  15. I have a bad arachnofobia, and today has been a really unlucky day, since two huge spiders sneaked into my home and I haven't been able to catch them so far. I'm feeling so paranoid now, it inspired me to write this. XD

    The Warrior needs Quinn's help

The Warrior shouting: "Quinn, I need your help ASAP!"

Quinn runs to the bedroom of the Fury, anxious: "My lord, what's wrong?"

The Warrior points at the corner of the room.

    Quinn: "I can't see anything."

The Warrior: "Can't you see that huge, disgusting spider there?!"

    Quinn: "Oh...that."

The Warrior: "Take it out. Now."

Quinn grabs the spider, walks out with it, then meets Pierce.

Pierce: "What are you holding in your hands, Quinn?"

Quinn sighs: "It's just a spider. Apparently our Wrath has arachnofobia."

Pierce bursts out laughing: "A Sith Lord, afraid of spiders?"

The Warrior shouting from the room: "I can hear you, Pierce!!! And Quinn, it's not "just"' a spider!!!"

Uuuugh, spiders. D: I live in a very wet climate - spiders. Are. EVERYWHERE. Thankfully there are less of them this year, because of the heavy ice storms and frosts we had this past winter, but... gaaaaaah. *hugs* I feel your pain/paranoia. :(

Quinn: If it's a tarantula, I humbly beg permission to request a tactical nuclear strike on its position.

    My agent: Done.

    Quinn: ...I was joking.

Agent: I once blew up a two-story building to kill a spider the size of my fingernail. There is no such thing as "overkill."

(Okay, it was in a joke post on these forums in response to "What are Chiss afraid of?" and someone said "I was just gonna say 'spiders,' but y'all went far beyond that..." and I took it and ran with it. XD)

  16. Okay with all of the pretty pictures going around here is one more from me ;)

My character I am writing about, what I would pick for Wedding Attire for what I can pull out of my collections in game :)

And if the colors clash to badly let me know please, I am mildly colorblind so I know I see different stuff.

I love how the green on her skirt matches her skin color. :D Looks quite lovely!

Heck, all of the warriors (and agent and inquisitor) you guys have posted look amazing. So many different looks and outfits and combinations thereof...

    <Malavai Quinn Approves>

Here's my gal as she is now. The lighting makes her look...a little cross-eyed? Oh well. XD Body type three + Canderous Ordo's vest = I'm scared now. This was her outfit for chapters twelve and thirteen of KOTFE.

Virne: Yes, and thank the Force that Odessen apparently doesn't have mosquitoes. *sigh*

  17. Recently I went back to Ord Mantell, the first planet I ever saw in this game, and headed up to the top of the Heroic area (Savrip Island) and just looked around. Beautiful view. :) I - or my smuggler gal, in-character - pointed out all the landmarks. I could see the hangar where I first landed. There's the wildlands, with Captain--SORRY, COLONEL!--Crazy and his cloudberry stew. The looming volcano and the Separatist base.

I noticed the background details, too: the ships that had crashed far off in the ocean, the smoke obscuring the horizon, the occasional starfighters swooping down overhead.

Little details - like the posters around Coruscant ("Stop Republic oppression! The Justicars will prevail!") that you wouldn't ordinarily notice unless you were looking for them. The gentle shadows waving over the hills and forests of Tython. Bits of paper and trash scattered around the streets of Nar Shaddaa. Fireflies playing around your head in Zakuul's Endless Swamp - looking up to see the city lights of the Spire and realizing just how huge those buildings are, and seeing the streams of traffic like rivers of light above your head.

This game truly is beautiful. :)
