  1. That is true, but you can always rinse and repeat on you LS characters if you want to get multiples of that. I mean, who doesn't want all of your SH's, LOL.
  2. Some of the items, like the mounts, unlocked it in collections for the character which in turn allowed me to unlock for my account. However, that didn't work for all of the armors. Fortunately for me, I did a cross comparison of prices for the items on GTN, so was very selective on which items I used CMC's on. iirc, only 3 or 4 merchants offer 2 different dyes each. Some of the dyes can be purchased with just credits.
  3. Specifically the ones for gathering resources and missions. Does the character need to wear the item all the time the crew has been sent out start to finish, or can s/he take it off as soon as companions have been deployed? Also, am I correct in thinking the potential values applied to a level 8 blue mod is going to be the same as say level 68 purple?
  4. I would suggest you private message anyone and everyone that has the big B next to their name identifying them as staff member. They might not reply back but they are known for forwarding concerns that CSR fail to do anything about that they should be able to do.
  5. Let me stop you right there! This is a game. This should be fun and relaxing. It should never be about any amount of "hard work".
  6. Have you contacted in-game customer service? Regardless of when you purchased, there would be a financial papertrail that should confirm you actually purchased it, and since it isn't a tradeable item, CSR should automatically unlock it for you.
  7. Solo players tend to prefer self-sufficiency through crafting their own equipment, which means they (myself included) rarely if ever sell items on GTN. Although I have sold surplus things on it, my experience has been that too many crafters saturates the market making it increasingly difficult to earn the amounts you speak of, often competing prices hitting below cost to craft, and for me, grinding/crafting for sake of turning a profit on GTN is just too boring and tedious.
  8. My account has always maintained a much smaller credit amount than that, and that was with supplementing it by selling things off of the CM. As a result of the increased vender prices on a few things in addition to how they messed up crafting, I am broken hearted to the point of cancelling my subscription.
  9. Though technically not a misspelling unless you prefer the latin plural form of octopi, it made me wonder if anyone was inspired to name their female character, Octavia Smythe, yet.
  10. Why did they do that? It isn't like people were able to "mine" it for credits at the 750 price. smh
  11. Same here. But then again, my eyes are not as good as they used to be.
  12. I could be mistaken, but it seems anything on CM that is a limited time offer has an hourglass icon as part of the window around the item's picture, and the release notes do not indicate a time limit on sales, so I suspect it is going to be a regular item like the Treek companion is. I'm not thrilled by the price, but as others have pointed out, it does offer more than the generic companions. As for calling it "old" content, it isn't like buying underwear at a thrift store. It is more like buying last years fashions at the Nordstrom Rack; reduced price is still expensive but it is still new to those who never had it. Right? From their perspective, we are getting "old" content, and since we are not even getting all the same bells and whistles that they got (customizations for C2 and 2V droids, weapons, etc.), it is more like we are getting the broken store display that nobody else wanted years after they got bored with it. Their outrage is really really sad, to be honest.
  13. Thank you for clarifying. Had it only been for a single character, I would definitely not been willing to spend that kind of cash on it. It is still a bit more expensive than I'd be comfortable paying but November is my birthday month so... Maybe. (you guys really should do discounts for people's birthday) I could be mistaken, but it seems anything on CM that is a limited time offer has an hourglass icon as part of the window around the item's picture, and the release notes do not indicate a time limit on sales, so I suspect it is going to be a regular item like the Treek companion is. 14. Are you sure about that? Sometimes they act like a bunch of Rodians and Ug-nots.
  15. In fairness, this game has players all around the globe in polar opposite time zones, so at least one time zone technically did in effect experience what you are asking for. What players really have to do is to look at the exact time and time zone referenced when any sale or event is posted. To the best of my knowledge, they always do specify the exact minute they plan to start/stop events.
  16. This would be an especially useful feature tied to the Crew Skills companion tab for those of us that do "recruit" everybody but don't want to bother increasing the influence on anyone but the eight favorite companions.
  17. I am also beginning to use a second monitor, though more because my laptop has a small screen and basically is bad for my posture and eyesight. The trouble I am having, after playing around with Fullscreen, Windowed, Windowed (fullscreen), and detached windowed settings, and after playing around with all the various Resolutions, I have noticed the Cartel Market UI is oversized and extends offscreen on the right hand side. Having to use the detached window and stretching it onto my laptop just to claim an individual purchase or to refund an item I changed my mind about is a bit of a chore and not optimal for gameplay. Is there anyway to reduce the size of the CM UI so that is stays inside the window on the same screen i am using?
  18. Maybe the ones directly in front of you, but definitely not the ones behind you or to either side, LOL.
  19. IIRC, the weekly loot boxes from warzones will randomly have schematics (which bind to legacy) that are equivalent to the receiving character's current tier.
  20. The ones that look fairly new to me are: Scar Removal Droid and Mind Trap.
  21. If you opened it, did the quest, talked to the beast handler, then it should appear in your companions window. If it isn't, then you need to contact CSR. Hope you find it.
  22. Is there any reason BW couldn't poll every account that did qualify for this? If the majority would be totally outraged, then its poison, but if the majority really couldn't give a dang one way or the other, then the voices of the few would have to accept this change.
  23. Truth! You can also use markers like the holo-statues and imp/pub banners to mark the end of the scan range... I never thought of that. Genius, LOL. On this I disagree with whole heartedly. For a visual example to demonstrate why, take a quarter or other coin and place it on a piece of paper (square grid type if you have it) then draw circles, to represent the scanner, making several rows (4-5) worth. If you don't overlap, then their will be several meters between circles that don't get scanned, but if you begin each new scan at the outer edge of the last circle you will minimize the chances of missing the part's location.
