  1. I was just saying that the cellphone does not have to get cell service as long as it can access wifi so that it can sync up with whatever it needs to sync up with.
  2. Hey Eric, banners look great. Um, the patch notes regarding Treek say that her conversations will now gain influence. I tried several variations on her first convo set and did not get any gains. Why is she, and HK -51 for that matter, still broken? Please fix.
  3. For accessing secure information, yes, you would need to use that one time password every time. However, you should not have to do that every time just for the forums. (at least that is the way it been for me.) If you have a cellphone, you can set up a security key. You can even use a deactivated cellphone as long as it can access the internet through WiFi to sync with the time zone of the security key website. Well worth it.
  4. This ^ Totally agree with this point. The guild has plenty of cash, so a mil isnt that bad. But i had hoped to let other guild members play with this a bit as well. That would probable bankrupt some guilds. In the case of my guild, I've been the only active player in many months, but most haven't been online in years. That means I'm the only one contributing credits, and I'm not a credit grinder, nor do I have the ability to spend cash in order to farm GTN by selling CM items. Then comes the following, if you do give ranks in the guild the right to change it, it doesnt do a check on whether or not the amount to spend on making this change is within the limits of the vault credit allowance. Someone can just keep making changes if he / she doesn't notice it and bankrupt the guild.] Couldn't there be a way for guild members to vote on banner ideas without having to commit to the credits needed to see a finished version? I honestly hated the fact that my second attempt to create a banner resulted in the shrunken flair design looking like a satanic image. Not what I would have spent credits on, so being able to see how it appears to others would have saved me a lot of credits.
  5. Noooo, don't sever me during your restarts. (okay, I am easily amused by the typo in the thread title, LOL)
  6. I am guessing some of the symbols represent the alphabet but I did not notice any title popups on any of them to tell me which is which; alpha/aurek, etc. Is there a list somewhere that could help me pick one appropriate for my guild? Sadly, no. My first attempt on my Imp guild turned out to show a horrid flair version, so I re-did it. Really sucks you do not get to see an example that is the same size as the one you see on your own character. The first version I did looked like a convoluted variation of the anniversary Alliance flair. The second one's flair version looks too much like a satanist symbol of the devil's horns as a result of size reduction. I am the only active member in my guild, so don't really have a lot of credits to burn. Right now, it's mildly interesting but not incredibly exciting. Having it visible on SH decorations, vehicles, banner toys, and other locations would certainly improve my desire to have heraldry. Yes. I'd really want to be able to display the banner in my strongholds and on the flagship. Even an emblem similar to Havoc Squads on armor would be awesome. Or gizka. Gotta have a gizka icon as an option for the more whimsical guilds, LOL. Agreed, but as a sub-flair that appears next to your Legacy Name title so that it is distinguishable from the guild flair.
  7. Noooo, don't change that one. It looks awesome on my Zabrak with the way his horns and Mohawk stick out from it, LOL. Seriously, that is the only character I used that outfit on so didn't realize it was considered a bug, but it really is pretty much the only head covering that makes sense for characters with horns.
  8. And while some people may not agree, there are quite a few of us who find KotFE and KotET to be quite enjoyable and re-playable.
  9. I actually tried playing an agent character on a ftp account without any extra leveling perks beyond the quest rewards. Very time consuming and cannot level on just class quests alone and be level appropriate for the next planet in class series. A subscriber can get through all the class stories without those perks. To the OP, that really bites, and I have made similar purchasing errors, but in the end it falls on looking closely at everything. For example, the Ultimate Leveling Bundle's Show Details tab has one line description that says, "This bundle contains Character Perk Unlocks", which refers to the Character Perks tab of the Legacy Window. That doesn't readily make it apparent that it means character only until you see the tab for Global Unlocks has a sub set called Other that is for Legacy wide unlocks (not to be confused with account wide unlocks). That bundle you purchased, though was something that could have been transferred to the other character, either as one solid bundle or in piecemeal before application, so it is doubtful that In-Game support will transfer that but doesn't hurt to ask them. Depending on how much you have in your Legacy Bank, assuming you have been transferring credits to it, it is possible for your new character to purchase all the unlocks using credits alone, and you can find the XP boosts for sale all the time on GTN. In the end, you were not an idiot. Just unaware of those minor details, aka small print.
  10. Very valid point which makes one wonder about the negative reviews that have already been posted in this thread. Why would they still have a subscription if they don't enjoy this game? Are they secretly employed by competitors and paid to talk trash about this game?
  11. Speak for yourself. I get what I pay for, and most certainly am happier with the game as a subscriber. To the OP, you really have to at least give it one or two months as a subscriber in order to decide for yourself if it will be worth it.
  12. Aside from contacting In-game support? Probably not. I can relate to your anxiety. It has taken a couple years for me to get over my compulsion to hang onto every annual gift pet and mount on every character, but I finally hit a point where I have had to look at teach individual character and ask if those items brought those characters joy. Really frees up a lot of storage space, LOL. Regarding companion outfits, I haven't felt the strong overwhelming compulsion to hang onto all of them, but some seemed worth hanging onto. To me, the early outfits are just too ugly or lack the ability to alter colors, and my CM Collection seemed the better choice for my play style. However, if you haven't already seen them, there are matching armor set of some of the newer companions, like Theron Shan's and Lana Beniko, in Collections that you could probably find on GTN, though not all of them are named after the companion. So maybe figuring out which ones those are will help you reduce the clutter? Beyond that, all I can suggest is, assuming you have played for a while, deciding which outfits you really like and have actually found times where you wanted your companion to where those particular outfits. Delete every item that has failed to "bring you (your character) joy". Disclaimer: Yes, I have heard there is some woman on Youtube that talks about decluttering by identifying items of joy in your space[station]. No, I have never watched any of the the [holo]vids.
  13. Something I just learned on my ftp account that used to be sub'd regarding the CM color crystals. I was about to install a color crystal into a sniper rifle for HK when I chose a color that had only ever been unlocked for this particular character. Using the "transfer copy" icon from Collections resulted in a copy that was shadowed out with "Requires Artifact Quality Unlock to Use" message. It seems that after you unlock a particular color on one character, then you will have to either unlock Artifacts or buy the account unlock on that item. Unless, that is, you learned to keep one copy of character only items in your bank while sub'd as I try to do (as a security measure against computer glitches that erase those character only unlocks). In this case, those crystals were marked with "Previously Authorized by Subscription".
  14. The only thing I can think of that you will be missing is the Artifact unlock. Without it you won't be able to use purple quality and higher gear. Not sure if the unlock unlocks the higher gear though, but I do know the account version is quite expensive.
  15. As an alt'aholic who didn't have any of the account unlocks, the characters I played during lapses in sub would always erase those hidden quickbars, but the characters that I ignored until sub'd again still had everything where I wanted them. Since you bought 5 bar unlocks, you won't need to worry about them. Good choice to buy them from GTN while still sub'd.
  16. Mostly true, but this isn't exactly what will happen to characters that were created while a subscriber. You will lose access to the quickbars. If and only if you do get the urge to sign into a character while un-subd, then whatever you assigned to non-ftp bars will be erased, but that won't happen to any characters you don't log into (personal experience). During ftp, any amount of credits over the limit that is on each individual character goes into escrow. These funds can be accessed by purchasing one of the escrow unlocks. However, before your subscription ends, if you transfer your credits to your Legacy Bank, then you can withdraw funds (up to the ftp limit) should you need it. But again, as stated, those funds will be available in full whenever you resubscribe. You can also deposit credits to your Legacy as a ftp. You won't be able to withdraw/use amounts above the limit, but you will still be able to make tons of small purchases that way. Titles and Legacy Titles do become locked, but again the unlocks are usually sold on GTN for anyone who want to go ftp but don't want to spend money on the Cartel Market. Dyed armors, though, will not change if already set in an Appearance Tab. In addition to that, Hide Helmet option will remain whatever setting it was while subscribed. However, you will not be able to toggle Helmet on/off without an CM unlock.
  17. Trolls. in caves? Sounds like you skipped Iokath.
  18. Though I already acknowledged that I had never noticed that before, thank you for clarifying for the sake of others who still might not have noticed. As I also pointed out, in addition to creating new ranks, guild leaders can change the names of EVERY rank to anything they want to better suit their guild's needs and thusly would allow for creating alphabetically (or aurek'betically if you prefer) sequential ranks.
  19. Alphabetically speaking, guild master is at the top and recruit is at the bottom, unless you click the bar a second time which reverses the order, LOL. Truth. That is probably why I never noticed before since my guild only has one officer currently, but now I can see you are correct. Just a thought. You could ask your guild leader to change the names of your guild ranks so that they can be sorted alphabetically. This can only be done by the guild leader, but all they have to do is go to the Ranks tab and right click on each rank name. i.e. Alpha Leader, Beta Commander. I do not know if SWtOR's aurek'bet was fleshed out beyond desh, but those might be preferable. Hope this helps.
  20. I'm not exactly sure at what point (story wise) I first playing, but had to take a break from the game as a result of computer issues. It wasn't until after the release of KotFE that I was able to return to the game, when it granted the token to create a level 60 or 65 character, and ended up playing through both KotFE and KotET before ever finishing any of the class stories. Never really thought about how the Outlander story-line affected my other characters but as an alt'aholic, the alternate time-line scenario works best for me.
  21. The ability to swap how you sort, even by hierarchy, has been possible for at least since the guild revamp, probably longer though I only began paying attention to the guild window around last Christmas. Just tap the bar near the tab name the same way you would for sorting GTN by price versus per item cost. You can even see how long it has been since a member last logged on.
  22. I've only had that happen once or twice. Since I don't speak/read German, I could only log out and then back in which seemed to fix the problem. Have you tried that?
  23. They posted messages here, on Twitter and on Facebook about it back on the 28th of February.
  24. Not until after I replied, but that was after the OP commented on the day I replied. So, your point?
  25. You are not alone in your frustration. Here are a list of YouTube videos that were made by other assassin players. Hope they help you gain insight. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=swtor+assassin+chapter+ix
