  1. I too was disappointed since all my toons have about a levels worth of rested I thought I'd be blowing it away this weekend, then saw the tooltip saying rest was not consumed during the event and cried a little. Then started clearing the fog of war cause that was giving mad XP compared to killing mobs.
  2. nORMAL? *** is that? Weird is normal. Strange is normal. Everyone has something odd. So odd...is normal.
  3. On my old server I had a pile of Sins...but they're more tedious to lvl with 3.0 so I've got a pile of Sage/Sorc on my new server.
  4. Well, the appeal for me is that anyone in my guild who is leveling, can do a KDY with me. They don't have to be the same level or even close as is the case with planets. This magical experience some of you describe of leveling all planets with friends...this is not an option for everyone since even the friends we have that play aren't always anywhere near our level and it would be imposing on them to make them start a new toon just so we're not bored. Then if you do that, you have to be careful not to outlevel each other, so for weeks when one of you can't get on, that toon languishes. Some people won't be playing their "levelin with friends" toon this weekend because some friend is out of town. KDY changes up, there are 3 bosses, 5 or more zones, a number of orders so for just getting a boost in your level, it's a good short run. I don't recommend doing KDYs til you start going crazy. Mix it up, do the planet quests you want to, and when you get where you want to be with that planet, then finish up and all the while do WZs, KDY, GSF, and traditional leveling FPs where you'll get level appropriate gear drops.
  5. What are lekku full of? It's not muscle. I guess fat is the most likely filling. That or raspberry.
  6. I guess my suggestion would be join a good guild that has a strong pvp contingent. Because of conquests, I stay focused on playing my guild toons in pvp so any temptation to jump to the winning side is nil since that would mean abandoning my guildies who are also working on their conquest points. Edit: A pvp only lockout timer would be reasonable. But more than 15 minutes would be onerous.
  7. After doing exactly what you suggest several times I find I prefer the a la carte method of queues and main questing, complete with between Q downtime so I can do other things on the fleet and in my stronghold (and IRL). In my guild I drift from solo to group to other groups of different guildies doing different things, sometimes with team speak on, sometimes ingame chat only throughout a play session and it keeps it fresh. Grinding planet quests is exhausting to me.
  8. This is simply not accurate. For one thing, you can't out level KDY so there's no risk you'll end up running around getting suboptimal XP. That risk on planets is very real, especially if you do every quest. By the time you OCD a few planets you'll be getting 20 XP per kill. no way is that the best way. (I know, I did it with someone who was incapable of skipping side content) Also there are issues of planets like taris where you can waste a good bit of time looking for the tiny gap in wreckage that the game designers left for you to cross the landscape. That problem doesn't exist in kdy. Then there's all the cutscenes and such that make leveling with a friend either great or horrible depending on whether y'all are on the same page as to whether you want to sit and listen to every huttese gibber jabber sidequest briefing. Nah, for power leveling that is fairly entertaining KDY, flashpoints. WZs, that's the way to go. Throw in some gsf and you've got a wide variety of dailies and weeklies that reward well. Also planetary heroics. Then if you feel like it you can do main quest stuff every few levels and get appropriate XP. Edit: also. Doing planetary stuff, you have to level your gear fairly regularly. KDY and WZs that's less of an issue. Edit 2: and regular flashpoints will drop level appropriate fully modded custom gear instead of requiring you to go trade in basic comms.
  9. This reeks of a PvP player in a tinfoil hat. Everyone left my team and played on the other faction cause they were winning. So instead of accepting the volitile nature of pvp pugs, we gotta dramaticly castrate our options as players. Lol. No thank you. That sounds like a terrible idea.
  10. I can def see the issue there. I can't think of any way to prevent this besides laziness preventing it in most cases. WZs are so short it would take some organizing to stay on top of them. But since its ranked maybe people would be more desperate for an advantage. I suppose one thing would be to make stealthed chars invisible to spectators, so watchers couldn't give them away. Healers would still be screwed though cause they would be prioritized for being tracked and targeted and it would definitely help with that. In general having an observers feedback would help a great deal since while you're in the WZ you have to focus on what you're doing and can't always get a great idea of how the gestalt is going. But a buddy in your ear could see what you miss. Mmmm. Yeah this would be a problem.
  11. Sounds low to me. Honestly. But for affordability, a high level guild could do it by pooling creds fairly quickly. A low level guild would have to settle for something more reasonable.
  12. Does it exist? I'd like to be forewarned from now on. Off the top of my head, armors with noticeably distracting bugs; Diabolist Robes - head/hood clipping Asp knight/ambitious warrior/relaxed vestments - butt clipping Ventilated Scalene - thick black seams on lower back, sides, inner arms, and legs Dark Initiates Robe - butt clipping, hood clipping, awkward or broken front flap weighting on some body types Genteel dress top - thigh clipping (not a bug exactly but i was expecting the lower body drapes to have physics. As it is, mixing this top with pants makes you appear to be wearing bell bottoms.) Expert fighter / vintage brawler - butt cape is skin colored in cutscenes Xoxaan's handguards - gloves show in cutscenes and preview but only bracers show in game I am certain this is only a fraction. All of thse are apparent during normal use (not concerned with emotes or dances causing clipping or stretching). None of these are physics based. Meaning it's not the engine's fault. It's the direct fault of the weight painter (bad weights) or modeler (bad topography in relation to the model beneath it). These are all armors I've dedicated time to earning credits to collect. If you have something to add along the lines of glaringly broken armor feel free. Or of course, if there's a list already lemme know.
  13. There's always twitch tv if you wanna go the user organized route.
  14. I imagine it involves kicking sacks of kittens and trolling the forums. /tinfoil
  15. KDY if you're ranged / heals / or have really good mitigation. If you are melee DPS and heavily dependent on healing, KDY can make you crazy as even DPS with off-heals and barriers will ignore you and watch you wipe over and over.
  16. They won't address it because there's no way to rally the players together. If you actually start demanding they fix ****, a flood of trolls will pop saying "Of all the things to worry about!" and "Someone complaining about the dressup-minigame!" and "They won't fix this becuse blah blah blah." And everyone who might have supported doesn't want to hang around and be insulted (and that's what the do, insult anyone complaining about something) by a bunch of argumentative OPS and PVP only people, or worse, the people who claim they've unsubbed but still pop in to harass anyone with an issue. So this post is just about (turns head to bioware) HOW MUCH THE ART TEAM SUCKS and how SIMPLE and AMATEUR an issue this is that the fact that it made into game like this is PATHETIC and the fact it was never fixed is LAME because it could be fixed very easily by an art team member with some access to shame still in him.
  17. Just got the diabolist robes...head clipping with saber out. Basic fricken pose...and it clips into my bald head (which isn't bald but whatever). It goes from bad to EXTREME when running. This pisses me off. Your weight painters suck. S U C K. Flat out...they suck. If they can't deal with this kind of simple ****, they suck. I've made hoods...it's not that fricken hard to weight it to the head in a way that both looks good and doesn't clip. I KNOW IT WILL NEVER BE FIXED. Not quitting over this. Just wanted to share my disappointment. This sucks a big fat dianoga and is lame as hell (and a modder would have it fixed in a couple hours). Over and over I set goals for myself, earn X amount of credits so I can collect set Y. Over and over I get there and it's buggy clippy poorly weighted garbage. *********** hell guys, come on. This is obnoxious.
  18. It's weird this got rezzed today because I just started noticing awful grunts and ugggs from my f-warrior while doing my conquest kills on tatooine today. Never noticed such before.
  19. I see this as a possibility for future emotes. I don't see them adding it as a required or toggle-able feature of the base game.
  20. There are some good suggestions here. Some fall into unlikely to happen territory (headgear remodels). I would prefer if the male and female options were more similar than different so forward and backward swooping horns for all. Leku length I do hope is included as a customization and even possibly leku sheathing though I don't know when they grow out of that. Here's hoping the time they take is reflected in the final product.
  21. I'ma ignore the slippery slope why not skip the whole game arguments. The starter planets are tutorial and narrow, and they are great the first couple times but after a few alts they get fricken old. Worst is probably being having to be verbally abused in the Inquisitor storyline just to roll a sin. But I could also do without Tuon, and flesh raider beebeeeeees. I can quote nearly every storyline and sidequest on the starting planets. It feels like a complete waste of time because you have really only 1 path you can take. Like I said, I'm not demanding it and I'm not asking for it to be forced on anyone else. Other games have done it without issue because they accept that 1-10 is tutorial and if you've completed the tutorial then you should be able to skip it. Obv it wouldn't be available to new players and probably not to anyone that hasn't leveled that base class. But also obviously it'll never happen so meh.
  22. That's not helpful at all. Maybe they'll extend it to the next tues?
