  1. I find our server quite agreeable. Been here since the launch and never thought about changing it. You will of course encounter people who are a waste of DNA potential but that happens everywhere. As for PvP there are people who know more about it than me. Its blighted by PuGs vs. Premades but, again, it happens everywhere. I joined the exact guild you mentioned, WABS, recently to run PvP in premades for a change. They are a friendly bunch and are skilled in the arts of war so if you are looking for a proper PvP than go ahead and apply. I would say that 55, Republic is better at Warzones, there's always a healer on that side and more often a handful of them. So unless you happen to join with an Imp premade things may get ugly.
  2. I would say yes and no. He entered a Warzone on his own , he knows what that means. I too sometimes get destroyed by seasoned Battlemasters+ or cooperating premade folk but I eaither just keep rushing into them to provide a distraction or just annoy them till the end. If even then I am a mere bug for them to squash I try to bite somewhere else and avoid them by all means, like that guy did. I've always been a carebear who "casually PvPed" in WoW and then in pre-Hutt Cartel TOR but I started to get the hang of it. To conclude there's a lovely quote from Kreia, character from KoToR 2. And what is it you think you have accomplished? If you seek to aid everyone that suffers in the galaxy, you will only weaken yourself … and weaken them. It is the internal struggles, when fought and won on their own, that yield the strongest rewards. You stole that struggle from them, cheapened it. If you care for others, then dispense with pity and sacrifice and recognize the value in letting them fight their own battles. And when they triumph, they will be even stronger for the victory And another in my signature
  3. My Operative was my main PvP character and I could pull some nice trick at times. However in general it was always a struggle to do some real damage and every kill required a lot of effort. I switched to my tank jugg now and it's just so much easier.
  4. Hey! That's a great idea, with the character battlecries. I made a thread on Suggestion Box. If you like it, leave a supportive comment, maybe we'll get a chance to pass this idea. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=6823335#post6823335
  5. The idea is not mine, it actually sprung from this thread in General Discussion and was made by user NogueiraA. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=686374&page=2 The idea got some positive comments afterwards and I thought to myself that's a brilliant idea. You already have a lot of each class voiceovers and you have the actors around. I believe it would be rather easy to implement it. Such feature would add a lot depth to the characters and players would really feel much more attached to them. And do believe me (as a 7 year WoW player, and SWTOR player since launch) such small things like changing hair colour, getting a new mount or having more customization for your character is really immersive and refreshing. The idea would be to add a random chance to play a sound a)when player initiates combat b)when player is attacked ("you will regret this!") c)during combat d)at the killing blow (you already have that script in game, there are 3 or 4 special animation that play only when we kill with lightsaber/vibrosword basic attack) Then we'd just need some restraining system to keep the voices from blabbering constantly. You have the math guys there, you would know how to do it. I'm rather sure such addition will be much welcomed, we'll see how many comments we'll get below.
  6. Someone probably already posted that: http://swtor-rp.com/home/m/1639454/article/545730 Near the middle of the page is a suggestion and a picture of what could have been done with the lekku. I wonder would it be so difficult to make a mesh of one or both lekku wrapped around the neck , with the, eventual, remaining one hanging in the middle of chest. Then they'd just need to slap in the texture path to match the skin colour and tattoo of choice.
  7. To celebrate achieving level 40, and what follows Centurion rank, I've taken Lily for shopping yesterday. Here's the outcome http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa415/Ramazon7/Screenshot_2013-05-30_09_45_11_113363_zpsae703ed0.jpg
  8. @Progenitor, RP server After my return to the game I leveled my operative and played lots of pvp in 10-29 bracket, some in 30-54 now. Thus my experience relates to pugs only. It's pretty equal here, maybe a bit better for the Imp side. Imp pugs tend to be better organised or play better. Reps usually bring more healers which puggers fail to recognize as threat.
  9. To be perfectly exact there is one legacy title in pvp. Manhunter. Unlocking it requires measly 50,000 kills in pvp. Care to join the hunt? Edit: In case you're wondering where it is to track it. It's in PvP branch of achievements -> General -> Total kills
