  1. No damn legit way for a sniper to hit 2100 rating in a week. Sorc, assassin, powertech, juggernaut, basically the fotms? Possibly. Not for a sniper.
  2. I couldn't care less about how high rating players got high rating in solo. Queue syncing is allowed and impossible to stop. Skilled players will always have higher average rating than scrubs, even if unlucky. Depends if they have the patience to keep queueing for space aids. As long as there is no hacking or intentional match throwing it is fair. Win trading in group ranked however is a huge problem in this season, there are more and more wintraders every week. Last season some people win traded for All Galaxies, but it was not as bad as it is now. And this is supposedly not tolerated by Bioware, yet people keep doing it untouched.
  3. We PvP-ers are toxic in general, with some exceptions and some liars. In ranked this trait is multiplied x100. And I have just as much right to bully as you have a right to queue and nobody to be able to stop you. So, fair trade. Idk why people complain about bullying when their sole existence is bullying to the other players on the team. P.S. Meh this came out harsher than I actually intended it to be, but whatever.
  4. No requirement is high enough. Unless it is not possible to obtain from a math standpoint. I admit I didn't expect them to increase the tier considering how dead this season has been compared to S1 and S2. But we cry about low bars, we cry about high bars. I do not think they did something wrong. Something unexpected? Maybe. Not wrong. + This way the win traders will have to queue more, meaning more chance to catch them and wreck them.
  5. At least on the level of Season 1.. More or less. Not like Season 2. I like the direction you are going. And also I'm honestly surprised that tier 1 is going to be 1650 this time. Not surprised in a bad way, just surprised. I expected the tier 1 to go down, considering how little people play. But that's good, not catering to 100% casuals. Not that 1650 is very high, of course, but it requires a good 30-40 games at least, if lucky and skilled enough.
  6. This could work, and I definitely think the idea has potential. Factor in damage taken, protection, damage, biggest hits, killing blows, and give them an appropriate "weight", then calculate the "weight" of the player in the team. Rank them. Profit. Heck, you could even add a "meters ran" statistic, tracking the kiting of a player!
  7. It happens only if the target is Low Slashed or otherwise mezzed, pretty much. Waste of time in any other situation. So for a honest argument, this should also include + 1 gcd for Low Slash. Or just don't assume that the target will be Low Slashed for the duration of the cast, in which case the deception burst is easier to shut down than Carnage one.

    Uhh... Really? Yeah it will be a tiny QoL change, but.. People don't change targets when they see guard, let alone a taunt.
  9. Something should be done to prevent pressure type arena compositions from dominating arenas even more. They are quite stupid. Cleansable stuns might make hardswitches harder, though a good team would still pull them off, obviously.

  11. All dots uncleansable.. What is this hell -_- Cleansing hardstuns would be interesting.. But oh god why they stick to this idiotic idea of uncleansable dots... DoTs should either be like Lethality dots, or plain cleansable. Like, if you make hardstuns cleansable too, healers will have much more important things to cleanse anyway. And seriously, if they only make the cooldown longer, but don't make the cleanse actually good (i.e. it actually cleanses hardstuns) it is bs. I highly doubt it would cleanse hardstuns though. Not sure if I would like it, but it is an interesting option. It might screw team ranked a bit, leading even more to idiotic pressure madness crap meta... Too much unknowns. Make dots cleansable, only bads need uncleansable dots.
  12. Go commando (merc) for ranked. And to all the ******* claiming that the operative is the all in all.. No. Most solo ranked matches are without a tank, and a commando definitely has an advantage in such cases.
  13. You play at lowest settings with such hardware? Dude you are doing something wrong. Unless you play on some 3 monitor 4k setup or some overkill like that, you shouldn't have such problems.

  15. And especially if you play on TOFN rep side.. it is a recipe for aids. It is usually high rating teams that end up with pops vs reps.. Stacked high rating, like all 4 over 1800 or something like that. I really would like to see their formulas and algorithms for matchmaking.

  18. Oh, I'm pretty sure an operative shouldn't lose to madness (considering a 5 minute timeframe, which is the length of an arena round)... Obviously that doesn't mean that the operative will win, but he will not lose. The things that could go wrong - bad usage of cc breaker or bad usage of cc. Heck, you don't even really need to cc all that much, just to buy time to cast a big heal or two, since you generally just spam insta heals and HoTs. Oh, bad usage of Evasion can screw up things, too. Well anyway, only way to actually prove this is to try a duel. You could always duel either me (not a stellar operative healer though, considering that I don't "main" it) or Yan'an or Osdo (or any good operative who has done at least a few duels), and see for yourself. In a dueling environment things are not the same like in a warzone.
  19. This gon be gud. P.S. *** is this nonsense about operative healer having problems with madness 1v1?! That's an eternal duel. (because sin self heals make it hard for operative to harass him down to death) The only way it ends is with a chain of mistakes on the healer's part. No operative healer worth his salt should lose to a madness sin in less than 10 minutes.

What he did was to "clarify" what rubber banding is, when it occurs, and why OP should take a look at his earlier post to test some bunch of stuff, and if all is alright there, then maybe there are some server issues or something along these lines.* *At least that's how I understood it, was not very easy.
