  1. There's some basic game design problems with Odessen. 1: You spawn in a random location which forces you to check the map. And also is disorientating. I understand they thought this might be interesting but it sucks. 2. You play against a mixed faction. Alright, that's what some people want but it dilutes the competitiveness. 3. The power-ups are extremely hidden so that only a very few players know how to get to them. Yes, you think everyone is stupid but it hinders game-play for most people. 4. The map is symmetrical. It needed to be more organic for a better perspective. I won't mention some good maps in other games at this point. This is not a cop out, I know for a fact that organic or more natural looking maps are better in most cases. Yes, I know this is a man made platform but it can still be non symmetrical. 5. The map is too big. When someone calls for help somewhere, it takes too long to get there. This good things about this map: 1. The power-ups. They are cool and fun to use, and fun to kill someone with a power-up. 2. It's fun to defend a node. 3. The high level in mid is fun sometimes. 4. It's fun to bounce people off bridges. I'm sure I missed some things but that is basically why people quit Odessen a lot. With a few tweaks it can be a great map for all.

    Premade vs Premade?

Premades are just people who know each other whether in a guild or friends. Get to know other people and group or die.
  3. 1. Takes too long to navigate to the other side. 2. Spawn points. 2. All the good players leave because they know this map is ****. They should of just made a map about double the size of an arena where people can actually support each other in time. Just to keep it balanced. Good things about Odessen: 1. Interesting powerups. 2. Maybe the random active points.
  4. The best reward would be a permanent tick mark that showed a player even made a ranked status. Double tick marks, etc.

    Rare pvp items

Good points, but I think pvp players need something to grind for since it's too easy to fully gear. There's no such thing as a perfect balance and pvp players are always looking for some sort of advantage. Even with some slight gear imbalances it's still about skill. Of course the top players will get strive for the best gear. Look at how much effort pvp players put in to getting datacrons for a +3 stat.

    Rare pvp items

They should create some pvp items, or imbues or something that would give a pvp player a slight advantage. PVP players would be all over that. This could be a super rare piece of armor, augment or anything that they already have in their current system. Even a +20 stat would be something to strive for.

    Who's in queue?

This is for anyone who can make it happen. With how slow solo ranked and group ranked is, you should make it transparent how many people are in queue in real time. A lot of people sit in queue just waiting, for a long time often. I know it would be a fairly easy code thing to do, just expose the number of people in queue. If it's a close pop, more people will join. The problem is that people don't even want to wait for 5 minutes for a pop. Amazing, maybe you can be a leader in exposing the number of people in queue for all other MMO's.

    Too much APG!!!

They did the same thing with Ancient Hypergate but all it did was make people hate it instead of a nice surprise. It's not a bad map but make it a regular rotation like the op said. ********s won't do it for several months.

    Too much APG!!!

You're saying what a lot of people are thinking, it's a simple keystroke to fix it and someone needs to be fired for suggesting a new wz should be at 50%.
  10. So retarded, they don't even know how to clear the old leaderboard.
  11. Not trying to defend any particular person but I think everyone's been globalled at least a few times. If you have never been globalled, than you probably hit your dcd's too soon a lot of times.
  12. Actually, I've noticed it doesn't how matter how good "or bad" anyone is, you still need a team that's better than their team.
  13. Than why did you lose a couple pvp games even while playing imp, still need the team to carry you.
  14. Cool, I get it now. Thanks.
  15. I can understand if they have bad gear, still learning the class, etc. but that shouldn't excuse when they have no idea of what's going on in the wz, like when they are losing a node. It just looks like they're in some sort of tunnel vision.
