The only thing i dislike is the removal of healing. Unless there is a good healer dots and staying alive for good stretches of time is hard, if the enemy team is good. Dots do a number on me, especially. I guess devs wanted to stress uniqueness to classes without taking into account what that really means, gameplay wise. Also its not like the heal was massive.

Inquisitor and Knight imo. Used to think Warrior, instead of Inquisitor in the past, but he has too much Savage Opress, Maul , Asajj Ventress vibe. An enforcer and a meathead, not a true Sith. Lorewise he doesn't even get a Darth title, can't even use force lightning. With a few major exceptions everything in the story could have been done by a none force user. The inquisitor being saved a few times is small potatoes next to the big picture. Consular is powerfull but he has too much support and healer vibes and lore wise there is such a role for jedi, which is also important. For example the Ithorian's battle meditation in the end of the Darth Bane's second book. But the question i think was about lethality.

I'm like the guy you quoted, i like kotor 1/2 and swtor cus they are made by Bioware, and they are Bioware style rpgs. Due to this i like the Old Republic EU. Not a fan of the movie era SW, or the movies much, though they are not unenjoyable to watch only due to them being linked to the games. For example in the Vader hallway scene in Rogue One, in my head that is a tribute to the Emperor's Wrath or something.

MMOs becoming a niche genre is a major reason. If there is more content and all other mmo reasons that were mentioned already, are done, the population would not go up much imo. Also Star Wars fans seem to not be very much into rpgs and these types of games. Not to mention that of those that are, some kotor 1/2 purists don't like how the story went or don't like that it's an mmo which goes back to the first reason. Its more or at least equal part structural and historic forces, not something the devs in particular did or did not do.

One of the reasons(not the main one but it adds up) i never played women characters before, is all their romance story options are horrible. As a guy i can't think of a single romance option i like for a gal character, all classes. Except maybe Torian. Therefore it would have been nice if all original romance options were bisexual.

In all cases it would be nice to remove her sick of covid or some kind of flu look if you remove her armor and customize her. Just have her look the same face wise, when she is in default gear and when you remove it.

What if EU people wanna play on the US server, if it is far away from the east coast they(we) are screwed. I never would cus highter than 60 ms would cause me to just dark side my pc, but others might.

Both are good for pve and wzs and single/aoe target, depending on tactical. Play whatever you find more fun.

Without reading the rest of the comments, all of the Old Republic EU is good, post episode 6 EU is crap the new disney crap is as bad as the post episode 6 eu, but for different reasons in all cases the true star wars ends at episode 6

Not sure if the Voice under the command of Sel-Makor is equal, worse or better fighter than the Voice faced by the Knight in chapter 3, but I think the Sith Warrior would be able to kill the Knight's chapter 3 Emperor's Voice too, so i don't know.

On paper inquisitor should win. But as always the good guys find a way. Some kind of overconfidence or something similar to the situation in episode 1 with Obi-Wan and Maul. With or without the force ghosts? I think it should be without, meaning with them the inquisitor is pretty insanely powerful, otherwise the inquisitor character would be pretty pathetic for a main protagonist, which means it would be super bad story telling in such a medium and i don't think they would do that. Also the Dark Side is supposed to be more powerful in general, in regards to display in combat at least. If the light siders were more powerful or equal, the dark side would not be tempting or worth the trouble in the first place. When the light siders win, when they win, they do it not cus because they are more powerful but because of other things that the dark side lacks in and the light side is better at, not display of ''power''. If it was all to the individual and not the side of the force, instead of a combination of the two , the Dark Side would not be a threat ever, hence all of Star Wars lore is bs and without meaning. Hence the Inquisitor should win on paper. I'm drunk though so i might be wrong. Let's hope i won't cringe when i wake up later.

Game was getting stale anyway , everything was the same for years. I feel like i have to learn to play anew somewhat. I keep pressing hydraulic overdrives for merc for example and it's not there. And it feels weird not having any healing on my Sniper, etc... It's fun to learn classes again.

The **** are you talking about? I am not informed these days, someone elabore, or is this just a typical ''game is dead'' meme. Just came back to the game and bought like a dozen armor sets with CC, tell me i'm not wasting my time lol.

You'd be surprised. It is a large enough % for the game to die in 2 seconds after it happens. And the same counts for every mmorpg that exists. Also you don't have to like only the story in order for it to matter. You act like i said people play these types of games only for the story and the world the game is in, like they are watching an interactive movie and all else be damned. Story matters for all kinds of people, doesn't matter on which place on their priority list it is, not only the type of people that solo play this game as some kind of Kotor 3, And yes population in mmorpgs is on an all time low. This genre has become a niche, it is not a mass phenomenon anymore like mobas, battle royale games,etc.

Why do people use this argument against SWTOR? Those people that play games for all the things except for the vibe and story mostly , are playing battle royal and shooters like CoD,not mmorpg games. I imagine if all the races and all the places and all the stories get swapped with randoms so WoW would become unrecognizable people will stop playing WoW too. People are just in general not into mmos that much, this is not an mmorpg era of gaming atm.
