Ok, i have been pvping a lot recently again and gotta say i am tired of the fotm mara HORDE that appeared from the horizon comparatively recently running towards you Braveheart style with Predation. Not only whole teams become frame rate cancer due to the constant predation spam, but they are also not weak or balanced. They are a bit op. If they weren't there wouldn't be so many of them. 1v1 is not an issue, if you are experienced enough, but it becomes super annoying after a while to fight against and along side nothing but maras. The situation is similar to mercs rights after 5.0.

All of them have good explanation within their character characterization and background. On the other hand the post ep 6 EU totally breaks with what we saw in the movies, and it makes them into totally different characters that don't fit. They might as well be totally different characters that just have the same name. + story wise, it's the ancient days, with the orignal sith and jedi. The movies era sith and jedi are just cosplayers from a certain point of view, if we look at it as a historian would, without paying attention to the fact that the whole franchise started with the original 3 movies. The only exception is with the Jedi Exile because she could not possibly be as weak as she was in the Revan novel. When it comes to everything else, it makes sense, which can't be said about the movie characters that got insanely godlike suddenly and magically in the post ep 6 EU. As bad as the movies were, at least they didn't overpower the characters, suddenly and without reason. Rey is crap yes, but at least her original form is overpowered marry sue. She didn't become that, after being something else.

Those are my 2 favorite classes right now. Both are not too powerful so it would feel awkward playing them and not completely gimped. Assassin has a bit higher skill cap but other than that, why choose and not play both. Those 2 are the only classes i play, after 5.0 made my merc unplayable, fun wise.

All true, but could you please specify in the thread title that it is the post ep 6 EU we are talking about. Not making it clear sounds like all the EU is bad, and the Old Republic EU is the exact opposite of bad.

What's bad about the consular is not the story, but the male voice actor. I literally can not stand him past Tython.

The only way to stick to a class is to delete all others, so switching would be a pain.

Edges look like they are polished to the last atom. I am amazed how beautiful the game is every time after a break. It has something to do with the anti aliasing. + Everything looks shiny like it has olive oil all over it. But not in a bad way , like in Dragon Age 3.

Bad idea. You would be far better of if all your characters are on the same Legacy/server, for all kinds of reasons. * * * Btw the European english server is basically THE european server for everyone that isn't German or French. The British people themselves are actually a tiny minority there. Best server and a melting pot of all European countries. It seems you would have less ping there, so that's your best bet.

All things considered i dislike the post ep 6 EU(except Krayt) much more than the new movies, whatever their failings. However I feel bitter at Disney for *********** over the Old Republic EU , so that effects my enjoyment of the new films. If Disney decides to make the Old Republic EU canon or if not all of it, then just kotor1/2 + swtor, then i could persuade myself that they are not that bad, and just enjoy them for what they are. If they make the Bane and Plagueis books canon, in addition to the above mentioned , then i will *********** love the new films. I dislike the post ep 6 EU so much that if they did what i said above, i would gloat in satisfaction how Luke was destroyed as a character + cus of other things. I became a Star Wars fan due to Bioware games, not cus of the original trilogy, so Luke is almost nothing to me. Strangely enough i have more respect for Mark Hamill after he said he doesn't like the new movies though.

SWTOR's combat system is like WoW old school system before cata, that's why i like it. And how the **** is it clunky? To me GW2 and Wildstar's combat is too console-y, unenjoyable to play. If i wanted to play a third person action game i would play it and not pay a sub to an mmorpg. Also people are too used to this system. If it is changed drastically , the drawback would be more than whatever positive thing some people imagine would happen. Not to mention that the engine is created with the current system in mind.

I quite like this new wz. A lot actually. I love the sound of the turret, the fresh colors, the new stairs to and from mid, etc... If the OP spends all his time in PvP he might be tired from the wzs, and he might want a totally new warzone, but i am not a full time PvPer since 5.0, so i am happy with this.

Thankfuly i main an Assassin now so i have a peace of mind. I no longer care. I wouldn't mind if we are finally gonna be able to turn the togruta to the dark side fully though, if/when she returns.

GW is buy to play, doesn't count. * * * + Unless you bring some sort of solid prove, the only game on that list that has more population or the difference in population is worth a mention, is WoW. Most of these lists are made by gamers who vote with polls. Basically an indication of nothing since, swtor's fanbase is not exactly the run of the mill mmo player or even a gamer. (read SW fans with not much gaming experience)

It should neither be inclusive nor not inclusive. Things should happen naturally, not with inclusiveness(or lack of) in mind. Inclusiveness(or not) should the a natural random result, not the predetermined direction, otherwise you get a cringe fest.

This never had anything to do with the quantity of the people liking it, but their quality. Most of EU fans ,deeply versed in Star Wars don't like the movie, their opinion is all that matters to me. Ofc the average joe is gonna see some space ships and force powers and some sabers are gonna say wooohoo star wars , awesome! Especially when it comes to Force Awakens. And i am sure some1 will say, if not here, then to themselves i am versed in the EU and i like it. Bollocks. Just wait till the hype leaves.
