Flagship Hooks are Increasing as of 6.3.2!
CrazyScruffy replied to EHKodiak's topic in Galactic Strongholds
lol this hook thing really bothers you. It really doesn't affect you negatively and it enhances others experiences. win win -
Geonosian Handler License drop rate and Hive ops.
CrazyScruffy replied to Mercielaga's topic in General Discussion
it does not drop on SM. it only drops on VM -
so umm, where are all the missing 'hooks' ...???
CrazyScruffy replied to Nee-Elder's topic in General Discussion
They never stated they were adding hooks, just increasing the number of hooks available for decorations. Currently the flagships can be fully decorated and because of the limit many rooms are very bare. This has been requested for quite some time. The extra hooks will allow most of us to fully decorate as we desire. And no one is forcing you to redecorate your ship just because they made more hooks available -
Galactic Seasons - Season 2 Updates
CrazyScruffy replied to DavidStaats's topic in Public Test Server
Subscriber Priority Objectives are ones which will require content only Subscribers (and in some cases Preferred players) have access to, and will mix between content which can be solo and content which is multiplayer-oriented. Because they want you to use the new one it will most likely be all 3 modes. and the bonus bosses appear on MM -
Nope sorry you will not have a mix of abilities from two different combat styles. If you go dark Jedi it will open the option up of changing your combat style to that of a warrior/inquisitor. There will be no mix direct quote from the article: If your character’s choices lead them away from their faction’s alignment and down the path of light side or dark side, they will eventually unlock the option to pick the other faction’s Combat Styles in addition to their own. so yes you'll have opened all the combat styles but not something where you can pull 1 or multiple abilities from other combat styles. its all or nothing
-
Switching factions would mean that a toon you created to play through the Knight story literally jumps over to the Imperial faction. That is not correct. For now, you can only switch combat styles of imperial classes or vise versa ANd no you won't be locked in. The Loadout feature will allow you to switch combat styles with a "push of a button"
-
No, you will either have (since you used force choke as an example) Guardian abilities or Warrior abilities, not both. If you are a Guardian and decide to go the dark side yes you unlock the option of unlocking the warrior combat styles. I imagine if you go back to the light side you would lose the option to use warrior combat styles
-
No there is no faction swapping (not yet anyways). There will also be a feature called Loadouts - that basically allows you to switch between combat styles with a "push of a button"

Did you read the article? It was pretty clear

I think this is a bigger problem with asking for feedback. Too much feedback from people who aren't actually testing
-
I main a guardian, in fact, it was the first class I experienced. I have been on the PTS and yes it is different but it wasn't horrible. Even doing the onderon dailies with a horrible comp, it was a very smooth run with no issues. And it should be noted this is an incomplete build, and very very narrow. I believe these changes have the chance to improve gameplay for most players. And yes maybe you have to learn a new rotation, but what if it makes that easier and flow better? I understand people are very attached to their toons and this game - and it feels like they're being robbed of their experience. I also think people should voice their opinions and provide the feedback they need (but they need to give them the direct feedback they asked for instead of having dozens of basically the same threads). We also need to remember that yes most people on the forums seem to be upset with these changes, but again there is a very small player base that actually takes the time to come on the forums and post. So saying "most" players hate these changes is unfair, because there are players who do like the changes Not really sure what my post is about, but trying not to be so negative about the upcoming changes. I think we really need to wait for more iterations of the PTS so we can give continued feedback before any changes actually happen
-
How was that a lie? That is still the plan, everything isn't available yet for testing. Now did they mention ability pruning? No, but nothing is final. We have no idea if those abilities are really going to be unavailable
-
Please answer the following questions: [*]Does this feel like a Jedi Guardian? Please explain why or why not. First toon was a guardian and still play as 1. I personally feel like it does feel like a guardian. Also i understand that this is a very limited scope of the upcoming changes, i look forward to testing it more [*]Is there anything that feels missing or out of place in the combat rotation? Yes there are abilities missing however i still found it easy to pick it up and play as normal [*]What are your initial thoughts on the effectiveness of the Jedi Guardian against enemies? went and did all of onderon solo and had zero issues. sure the comp was useless but besides that it was pretty easy [*]How are you enjoying or not enjoying this class? Its a guardian, pretty hard not to enjoy it [*]If you have feedback on the different disciplines and ability paths, please note your feedback accordingly so we can track it. Vigiliance - Option A I won't be dramatic like everyone else and act like the sky is falling. Yes, there is going to be changes (and if people pay attention they would notice that year 10 and 7.0 ads have basically sold it as a reboot of the game) but it's hard to judge how good the changes will be. As with most change there will be some benefits and drawbacks. the only 100% thing is not everyone is going to be happy. I'm gonna be patient and see how the pts opens up a bit more for testing with way more freedom. All in all i'm pretty happy with the changes

Well it really shouldn't be an issue. They already stated that you'll be able to make multiple loadouts. So you can stamp all your gear, your bars, and utilities and then just switch with a click of a button. And locking people out from doing this in a FP is an insane idea (or in any content besides maybe pvp once the match has started). But thankfully you wouldn't be forced to switch specs if you truly didn't wnt to

If you have or read the making(or the art) of SWTOR book, it talks of how they had to cut a lot of material due to the time crunch. One of the Classes they were going to make were Gray Jedi. Which I would down with. You can still have an Imperial/Republic version of each. And you can then have three faction. Republic: Trooper, Knight, Consular Imperial: Agent, Warrior, Inquisitor New Faction: Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Gray Jedi And it would still make sense since I've always felt smuggler and BH shouldn't be exclusively tied to pub/imp. I would imagine they still have all the work they did on the class as well so they should be ahead of the curve instead of coming up with a "new new" class

Except I'm not wrong. His question was how to erase points. Which there is only 1 way to do that. When you reach 100000 L or D, it will erase any points you had of the other
-
Once you reach Dark 5 or Light 5, the opposite points will get erased. But up until that point there is not anything you can do
-
please try to implement an alternative, so we don't waste TF

*** Class Specialization Path Questions **
CrazyScruffy replied to Negapao's topic in New Player Help
You can choose what tree at lvl 1 not 10. At lvl 10 you get your 1st skill point to put into said tree. Way back in the early days, you had to wait to hit LVL 10 before even choosing your advanced class. but those days are gone now -
The devs have listened and acted on this request. That is why they released the Master Datacron. And if they decide to make all Boosters not auto-complete missions, I don't see how they would retroactively do that. It would most likely only work on boosted characters after such change were to be made, if a change was made. Then what about players who actually prefer the story gets skipped up to a certain point? Are they going to have to make even more tokens to boost characters or are they going to be forced to start the story at their starter planet?
-
Well if you're doing lvl capped content having points into defense is not a bad strategy. If you pour them into acc, alac, crit, and power, alot of those stats can be wasted since there are caps. However, don't use enhancements, there are mods with defense that you should use instead of enhancements.
