Just got my sorc to 65. DPS is kind of low (going for kills to cap the doors) given the situation but we did get 36 kills against 5 sorc healers in a very mobile match:

Too many players think they're "objectively-minded" when in reality they are just plain bad. Obsessively trying to cap a node in vain or run that orb while getting your butt kicked is not being "objectively minded" - it's being trash. The key is to surgically destroy the enemy team while defending the objective and seizing the objective at the right time. The best players balance kills and objectives.

I think it's safe to come to the following consensus (as a general rule, though the dot spread introduction in 3.0 skewed stats a bit)

 

2.0 -> 3.0: 30 percent HP and damage increase

 

3.0 -> 4.0: 40 percent damage increase. 60 percent HP increase.

 

It's clear that TTK has gone up.

What gets me is not so much the big numbers in these screenshots - we've all seen how 4.0 has added a bunch of damage. It's how the average players are really doing no more damage at all.

 

It's like they've seen how their abilities now do more damage, and figured that means they can just use them less frequently...

 

And then they call our guild "cheaters' and whatnot. It's like armchair football fans dissing the Patriots left and right when they can't even throw a spiral.

Using dmg determine whether or not a class is balanced is a narrow criteria. But I appreciate the effort to report.

 

Yeah all that extra crap in the first post was something I just threw together at 4am some night. Pops had stopped and for some reason I was actually bored. I never get bored...it was weird lol.

Thanks Hoppin, but I'm not really active enough these days to make any lists, and haven't done anything but regstar in a long long time. I'm also nowhere near as good as I think I used to be - I don't play enough, and I think the old age is finally getting to me!

 

Time for a new generation of kids. Though I still reserve the right to whine incessantly in warzones.

I'm probably part of a generation long past at this point too. Enjoying life without SWTOR too much (well, mostly without SWTOR - still enjoying the occasional chit chatting about it

 

Bottom line is that you'll always be the most influential PVP Merc in SWTOR though.
