  1. 10m is not 'ranged'. Most classes have some way to Operate from 20m or more away, Operatives have none.
  2. You have never played an Operative and the fact that you are QQing about them as a sniper means you sit there and facetank knives instead of kiting like you should. The bolded just tells me to discard your whole statement.
  3. Maybe Operatives will be 'that class' Where they suck hard for 5 years and then get a buff and become godlike.
  4. Operatives can be easily locked down by one person (especially Mara). Inturrupt Kolto Injection and they are done. Not to mention they are squishier than both Mercs and Sorcs.
  5. No they won't, because unlike Operatives, other classes can deal higher damage AND perform this so called "stun lock". Not to mention the fact that they are more mobile with more utility and more surviveability. The only way Operatives would be working 'as intended' is if Operatives were intended to be the worst class in the game by a substantial margin. Since we are talking about Bioware's balance team, chances are that Operatives are working as intended, which is disgusting.
  6. If you are an Operative/Scoundrel, you know a lot about it, sadly.
  7. Too bad they are worse at their intended roles than other classes.
  8. You are basically saying that Operatives should perform like they did in their pre 1.1.1 days. They bursted you down and went on their way. After being nerfed to the ground, we are forced to use sustained damage because we can't burst geared classes for ****. Either know what you are talking about before you post, or stop trolling.
  9. This. Don't play an RPG if you don't like grind/progression. It is the main point of an RPG.
  10. Hard to tell if trolling, or actually is this ignorant to class balance.
  11. Defusal mode ends when all the enemy players are dead or the time runs out 99% of the time. It is quite rare to see a defusal while people are still alive at high skill levels. The reason why it is used is because without a time limit, people will camp in a corner the entire game.
  12. No class should ever be a glass cannon or they will get shat on by experienced players. Operatives need to get more sustained damage, surviveability, and mobility atm.
  13. This. You were getting trolled by George.
  14. You do realize that this is Bioware we are talking about?
  15. Gear = Customization and progression Simple.
  16. For Deception Sins: (I have one I am currently leveling acctually) 1) Better survivability (Better defensive cooldowns) 2) Better sustained damage (Given) 3) Better burst (Deception) 4) Better mobility (Sprint) 5) Better utility (KB, dat shroud) 6) Better out of stealth (Majority of fighting is spent out of stealth for both classes) So basically, better than Operative in every way.
  17. When I rolled an Assassin I about flipped out just because I had a knockback, lol.
  18. Oh look, an Assassin. Remind me what Operatives can do that you can't? inb4 healz (Compare that to Sorc/Merc)
  19. The person you are talking about is just far more skilled than the players he is facing against. If his skill with an Operative could be applied to any other class, he would be dominating you even harder.
