  1. Not saying I agree with the OP. But, this is an absolutely ridiculous statement.
  2. That's something I think we can both agree on.
  3. The more I read your replies, the more I'm suspecting you to be a troll. The non-marginal amount of people that still like to PVP, albeit non-ranked.
  4. This is only for 4v4, or also 8v8? @septru's screenshot was made after 8v8 or..?
  5. This was of course, conveniently, mentioned nowhere so far.
  6. What? Again: what? Playing objectives in objective-based pvp is not how to win? Interesting. This seems to be a recurring topic, and it seems some people (not only pointing at you) have difficulties understanding "playing objective" != "brainless node clicking". To take it to the extreme: if you only DPS and never click a node, would you win? No. Vice versa, if you only click a node, get killed over and over and have 0 DPS, would you win? No. To simplify a bit: (to me at least) playing objective equals (but is obviously not restricted to) knowing when to DPS and knowing when to click that node. <rant>And, knowing when to use some goddamn CC instead of brainless pew pew which happens more often than not.</rant> It's not a this OR that story, you need some of everything.
  7. @-Ashton- Better be careful not to be "disrespectful" . Really unbelievable, pathetic even, they are calling *you* disrespectful - which at that point you weren't IMO - while they are the ones treating their customers without any respect. Guessing I will be getting a slap on the wrist as well now. Oh well, unlike them, I won't cry about it.
  8. What is this "bg" that you speak of? We know no such thing.
  9. Not OP, but this is actually one of the clearest explanations I have seen. Well done. It's beautiful.
  10. The amount of times this pops up on the forum or on general chat... People really shouldn't have to be asking this. Makes it clear how bad the UX/UI is, unfortunately.
  11. Maybe it was more heavily damaged.
  12. This seems to be too difficult to comprehend for some. Then again, people saying things like makes it clear they think they know what they're talking about, while being on their high horse, but actually couldn't be more wrong. It absolutely sounds ridiculous. FYI: you don't get random disconnects because of a blocked port; you simply cannot get a connection in the first place.
  13. I'm pleasantly surprised. Five replies in and no "cool can I have your stuff?" yet.
  14. Agreed. You have an...interesting definition of "well".
  15. Server: Darth Malgus. Location: Fleet. Queued for PVP, got a pop, started loading Civil War/Yavin, not sure, wasn't paying too much attention. Crash to desktop while loading. Of course, I login again, (try to) queue for PVP again, but then get hit with the 15 min lockout message. Do you think this is a nice user experience, locking a player out for reasons outside of his/her own doing? Please tell me, why am I paying for a sub again with this kind of BS. Get your **** together please, finally. This is infuriating. Or alternatively like usual just remove my message, send me a warning because I hurt your feelings and keep your **** broken. I now remember again why I have a non-recurring subscription.
  16. I skipped killing the baddies on the stairs on the way to Malgus. Arrived at the top, the FP of course wouldn't progress because killing those on the stairs is really required. Of course, I could not return to the bottom of the stairs to do so, because of the grappling hooks which can't be used to go down again. So in the end, I simply jumped off the stairs and killed myself. After doing so, Lana finally did return. So next to the Lana issue, it's also "great" mission design.
  17. Interestingly enough, she does appear in subsequent cut scenes. She can also be heard commenting things while running around.
  18. Lana also disappeared for me. More specifically: she was at 100% hp, after a cut scene, she was dead. Did not reappear.
  19. Sounds better than: VS, VS, VS, AHG, VS, VS. That is, if people are playing objectives at least. Nonetheless, in an ideal world neither (only HB or only VS) should happen of course. Anyway, could it be their system is something as follows? They have x simultaneous WZ "tracks" running depending on the amount of players queueing. Let's say for example, 2 tracks. Where the second one is only started after the first WZ of Track 1 is finished because enough people started queueing to start Track 2. Track 1: VS -> AHG -> HB Track 2: ............ VS -> AHG -> HB If you are in Track 1, VS, and you look a bit too long at the scoreboard for example before requeueing, you end up in Track 2, which is lagging behind with the map, making it so you end up playing VS again. Could be the above is utter nonsense, but that's the impression I'm getting.
  20. My bad, didn't notice you were the author of that thread. Agreed. I understand if fixing this is not top priority, but acknowledging it and putting it on the known issues list is the least they could do. Or if according to them it's not a bug, explain why they think it's not. Only, or I'll be nice and say, mainly, seeing them reply to threads: Related to "Cannot purchase coins" "It's already on our known issues list" is quite...frustrating.
  21. Not sure if this is exactly what you mean, but there's a thread about it which they are ignoring.
