  1. Maybe you should read his 2 edits, and it will become clear to you why. If you did read them already and you still need to ask; you're an idiot.
  2. Environmental awareness. Do a head count of enemy players, if you're heavily outnumbering the other team, head over to the other node. If someone's solo guarding, try keeping an eye on his/her healthbar (you can focus target), or if you see your teammates running around like crazy around a node on your map that usually means they may need backup as well. In fact, most of the time you don't even need someone to call incoming to know where you need to be. If you DPS with a tank class, use your taunts anyway, it helps a lot. Don't chase a solo kill if it hurts the objective. If you notice your healer is in trouble, help him out. When someone's capping a node, don't "help" him cap; instead cc incomings. Don't break cc when someone's capping. If possible, don't los your healer. Don't leave a healer behind to guard a node. During huttball, make sure you're not standing in a position which allows the enemy to leap to you and score. Keep your ramps clean and hold mid. Don't try to 1 vs entire team. Especially during Ancient Hypergate, don't pointlessly feed the other team kills. Don't mindlessly DPS; keep an eye out on the node. Well, I guess all this doesn't make you great, it's just common sense really
  3. Calling inc, then being told you didn't. During a Civil War in the 1-49 bracket: Me: w 1 ... ... Me: w lost ... X: why didn't you call? Me: I did X: you said "w 1" Me: exactly X: how could we see that? Me: you did see it apparently X: I scrolled up retard Me: which means you didn't see it on time, which is your fault, not mine, "retard" X: Type in caps so we can see it
  4. I don't know if WOW has this option (?) since I never played it. But I can imagine this being far from optimal in certain situations, when multiple healers in the same group start using this as their main method of switching targets to heal. And healing would get kind of boring/EZ mode.
  5. In that case, I'd just stop queueing with this "best" mate EDIT: As for a solution anyway; roll a sage, when he pulls you, pull him back as well, he'll stop doing it.
  6. If you get pulled it may be because: You are about to die and pulling you out of melee range from the guys hitting you is the only way to save (read: heal) you. The person pulling you is a healer and has been focussed for a while, without anyone pealing for him, and he needs help. So help him instead of chasing some solo kill. Huttball. The other team has pulled you in their group and you will die if you don't get pulled out asap. If it's not any of the above, you could of course try asking him not to pull you again.
  7. First of all; thanks for the update. Making a change like this isn't a one man decision and I simply cannot believe that all of your developers agreed this was actually a good idea. Unless: They quite simply don't play the game and hence have no clue this would have such an impact. They just don't care about usability There were major issues with the GTN (performancewise) and they needed a quick fix regardless the negative consequences on usability and hoped we wouldn't care. I'm going with the third option (since the first two options would make them incompetent, imo), which is fine, but if this really is the case they shouldn't be treating us like idiots and just tell us the truth instead of pretending to be ignorant. I'm guessing Joveth isn't allowed to tell us if any of these three posibilities is the right one even if he would want to. But IF I'm wrong, I would appreciate it if you could tell us Joveth. Because I would love to be told I'm wrong in this case.
  8. Why did I even continue reading after:
  9. He does not need to "prove" anything. You are the one making claims, if there's anyone who should be proving anything, it's you. So... Prove to us that pugs are not losing because of premades? Oh, wait. You can't. I want to play against pugs to show how good I am? Is that the reason? Thanks for clearing that up. All the other valid reasons for not grouping up must be wrong then. Premades using voice communication, focussing targets, etc., isn't that enough to blame them for losing? Even if they aren't using voice comms, they may play ranked together during which they do use it, so even when they aren't using it during normals, they still have some basic strategies down, they know how to play together, they know how their mates will respond to certain things, and so on. And before you're going to tell me that not every premade in normals uses voice comms or plays ranked, no, no they don't. But this doesn't change a damn thing. The ones that do are still out there.
  10. "WE want arenas"? Enough of some random guy telling others what I do or do not want.
  11. Agreed. Happened on multiple occasions that some guy was solo "guarding" a node while actually just afking. He was just there to "get his daily done" and couldn't care less about actually playing. Which makes it even worse, since having this person guarding == nobody guarding. I wonder though; how do you know he gets "a glaring red message"? EDIT: could become a problem when someone is actually guarding, but doesn't move because there simply aren't any incs, though.
  12. Working towards becoming THE best. How does that sound?
  13. Oh I see, in that case: nevermind my silly remarks That acid + flash bang trick was quite cool by the way. Why oh why didn't I think of that.
  14. Nice kiting, but you don't seem to be of very much use to your team. During that game of Huttball at the end of the video for instance, you prefer messing around with two guys near your own goal line instead of doing what you should be doing; healing your team/ball carier and/or getting in position to do a Rescue or for one of your teammates to leap to you. During Ancient Hypergate, for example, you prefer kiting some guy to the side of the map where nobody's at, or in other words, where you won't be healing anyone. Since at AH, your teammates being killed = points for the opposing team, you should be healing your team making sure they don't die, instead of only healing yourself which you seem to be doing in all your matches, 90% of the time. etc. I don't mean to sound like an *** though, it's just the way I see it. But I could be wrong of course But still, nice kiting, and no I'm not being sarcastic.
  15. I'm pretty sure the classes are mirrored except for the animations and maybe some other minor differences(?). But as others have said, what you saw probably was a combination of self-heals + medpac. Check this out (Assasin skill tree): Devour Increases the amount of healing generated by Death Field and Parasitism by [50 / 100]%. Death Field Creates a death field at the target location, dealing 733 internal damage and healing you for 1% of maximum health for each target struck. Strikes up to 3 targets within an 8-meter radius. Hollow Increases your shield absorption by [2 / 4]%. In addition, when you activate Overcharge Saber while Dark Charge is active, you instantly heal for [5 / 10]% of your total health. ...
  16. You do realize that the classes on the imperial and republic side are just mirrors of each other, right? There is no difference (except for the animation).
