  1. No, it clearly states that only chars created on or after June 28th will be participating.
  2. Thank you. Not a lot of time then..
  3. I'm probably just blind, but I can't find the info anywhere: How much time do we have to complete all of this?
  4. The dead have risen! Repent while you can! I'm still against this at least as an unrestricted option. Permitting an AC change up to a certain level, 25-30 or so, would be fine IMO. Selling it on the CM will just make it a "change to FOTM" token for the ones with tons of money/credits to spare.
  5. I've always been in favour of handing out some kind of reward to the role that is in high demand. They would have to ensure that they only get the reward if they queue solo though, as unfortunately many tanks and healers tend to queue with preformed guild groups only.
  6. I agree completely when it comes to PvE, as tactical FPs already pop quickly and trinity based content wouldn't be affected by X-server that much. The tank/healer/dps ratio is the same on all servers. For PvP it could be great though. It would mean more WZs especially ranked ones popping with a bigger pool of players to compete with and even GSF might become viable to queue for again.
  7. There is no way of making this any easier. You already have to do exceptionally stupid things to ever die in the 1-55 content. So what you propose would perhaps make the leveling content faster, not easier. Mobs die quickly enough as is IMO. Aside from champions you don't even get to practice a full rotation now, which is a bad thing if you ask me.
  8. Never used one. All of my characters go through all of the story content. I leveled a character through the 12xXP back when it was active and it ended up as the only char past lvl 20 that I ever deleted. It just felt shallow, knowing that it hadn't really taken part in all of those conflicts and I felt like I hadn't earned max lvl.
  9. Right now the only people who have a reason to be truly happy are those who enjoy single player story content above all else and don't mind paying 15$ for 1h of content that a true single player game could've done a hundred times better IMO. Every other aspect of the game is stagnating. Group PvE, and I'm not only talking about HM/NM OPs, but the kind of content a lot of players engage in, as in tactical and HM FPs and SM OPs are getting old especially for veteran players. PvP has seen a recent update(after 2 years), but balance is once again a mess. GSF was a lot of fun when it came out, but now the divide between fully decked out ships and those of new players is far too great and the addition of bombers threw it out of balance IMO. Of course this could've been fixed, but BW decided to just pretend it doesn't exist.
  10. I'd pay serious money if Kephess could be my comp! I'd put him in my stronghold and build him an altar where I could pray to him and bask in his glory all day long every day.
  11. Agreed! Would I like another KOTOR style SW game? Sure. Would I want SWTOR to be that game instead of an MMO? No.
  12. Funny thing is that to me it already feels like what you propose. I'm currently leveling another sith warrior and I'm already lvl 49 on Alderaan, smashing my way through any opposition together with my DPS comp.
  13. Yep, that's the only reason. The quality way of achieving the same would be to put interesting achievments and exploration in there, but here we are, fighting through annoying waves of cannon fodder an copy/pasted bosses.
  14. Judging by your account number, you've been here for a while, so this shouldn't come as a surprise to you. That said, I have no idea what BW is thinking or trying to achieve with their secrecy. It's certainly not creating any hype or making people who're on the fence right now stay subscribed. I could understand their strategy, if every playstyle still had fresh content and they were known to exceed expectations in terms of both quantity and quality with every update they put out... The way they're handling it now only makes me feel like there'll be bad news and they just want people hoping for group content to stay and pay a bit longer before they eventually give up.
  15. Knorlac was the name of my first char in EQ2, a troll assassin.. I've never used that name ingame again, but it is what immediately came to mind while registering here.
  16. That's why I think there will never be a KOTOR3. IMO Disney won't ever greenlight another SW game that doesn't belong to the new canon. There could of course still be a spiritual successor to KOTOR, but set in another timeline.
  17. It's a matter of preference for some of us. I think that the german translations in video games and movies in general just sound plain silly for the most part, nevermind all the wordplays that are usually lost in translation and the fact that I prefer to hear the actual actors...well...acting instead of some guy sitting in a studio and looking at a screen. I'd also find it boring to have only my own countrymen to play with. Having guildies from all over Europe and beyond is far more interesting IMO.
  18. Your view is based on the assumption that they'll make more money from offering 1000cc tranfers than offering free transfer tokens to returning players on dead servers. I on the other hand believe that the profits gained by helping returning players to get back into the game right were they left off (on a healthy server) will far outweigh the potential 1000cc sales as I think that only very few returning players would be willing to pay 1000s of cc +sub just to continue playing on a healthy server. None of us have any data to back up our predictions of course. Also note that this free transfer would require the returning player to sub for at least 1 month and would only be handed out to those players returning to a dead server as a one way ticket to a server of their choosing. All other kinds transfers would remain at 1000cc And yes, I want this for the good of the game, but not because I'm an altruist. Sure, part of me is in favor of this because I think it would simply be the right thing to do, but mainly I want the game to stay profitable for as long as possible so I can keep playing.
  19. So one has to have worked on a MMO before to make one? How did any MMOs come to be then? How does SWTOR even exist? The point is that CDPR is far more customer friendly and ambitious than todays BW which is sadly run by EA's army of beancounters.
  20. This right here! CDPR makes money by strifing for excellence and making their customers happy, not by trying to milk them with subpar content and microtransactions. God I love this company..Can't wait for Cyberpunk!
  21. Good thing I wasn't drinking anything when I saw this!
  22. It'd be smart to shedule their release cycle like this, but honestly, I sadly didn't see that much of an influx of players that I would attribute to EPVII. At least not many of those seem to have stayed for the long haul. IMO they really should do some more marketing this time around. The ads I see on the net are far and between.
  23. I remember bashing our heads in against Stormcaller and Firebrand in EC HM back when it was new. We spent several evenings wiping there and it really seemed like we were jinxed, as everytime the fight went really well, something new and completely unexpected happened that threw us off balance. Good times.
  24. Do you mean after season 2? Because until this whole KotFE story is told and we have our comps back, they probably couldn't switch to another format even if they wanted to.
