Look , I get it. Most of y'all don't play the game. Or, don't play other games. But, these 2 changes would be, not only exceedingly great for players, but would align with most other games, as well. 1. Make the characters on log-in static. It's so tiring having to log in 18 times just to rearrange the characters again. 2. 5 favorites for GTN? Are you kidding? You realize how popular your store is and you still give us 5 favorites? 3. Make a favorites list available for the Collections screen. More than 5..... We have 2536 items in the collections screen. Maybe we can meet in the middle with 4% available for favorites list.
  2. Yeaaaa... nice try. 1. If you're hitting anything, taking damage, or even click "Start" you're contributing. It's a very long time before it puts you in AFK status. 2. If you're on a satellite, you're contributing, You can literally go afk, eat lunch, and as long as that satellite is still yours and you don't die, you're contributing. If you're playing bomber on a deathmatch, and not hitting anything, you're not contributing. Move your repair drones to the fight or shoot something.
  3. Please, for the love of all that is modern, stop with the dynamic character log-in. Let us organize our characters on the log-in screen as we wish. Enough of the last-character-logged-in-on-top BS. Been asking for this for years with no response.
  4. I've installed it multiple times. I've owned three different computers. Since I started playing in beta, the preferences crashes my game. It usually takes a few reboots to finally get it open.
  5. Field Respecialization in your Legacy. It's like 150k credits to buy, but you can then use it to respec anywhere, anytime.
  6. Welcome to SWTOR. I still have two Vectors in my companion list. I still crash when opening Preferences, an issue since launch. Think of hotfixes in this game as their acknowledgement that there is an issue, and nothing more.
  7. Did you join the guild after the 3 day mark? If you joined a guild on that 4th character less than 3 days before the CQ ends, you won't get guild rewards. They did that to help prevent abuse.
  8. You basically looked over my post and comprehended nothing. Lol. Read my post again, and it'll answer all of your concerns here. English: 101.
  9. Hello. I've mentioned it a few times before, but we seriously need to be able to control our characters on the log-in screen. Another idea is that you keep it just the way it is, but add a "LOCK" feature that prevents the characters from moving after logging in. This way, you don't have to rewrite code, but simply add a preventative measure to allow for a static placement of characters. With the potential for 50 characters, this is almost necessary at this point.
  10. So, while there are some parts of the SWTOR site that are working, it seems that the account page, developer's blog in the forums, and some other links in the site lead to a white / error Maintenance page. It started with me last night, but I had heard from many people that it was behaving that way for them during the early weekend.
  11. Please put something in the Cartel Market, or even just allow in generally, that would let us organize our characters on the log-in screen. No more 'last log-in first.' This is a tiresome process and I would love a customizable character list.
  12. I play those, too. Same thing happens in those. However, due to the options available for mouse input, it is less of a problem in FFXIV. It still happens, but not as bad. WoW is pretty bad when I have a faulty mouse. RIFT was terrible. SWTOR is terrible. LOTRO is not so bad. But, it's definitely the mouse because of the simple idea of input. I right-click, doesn't matter if I'm gonna move or not, and the screen just teleports to another view. You know, I sometimes get mad and bang my mouse against the desk. That works for a short while until I can replace it. ****On our view of FFXIV, I'm telling you that game has like ZERO bugs--especially when new content comes out. Square is precise in its execution of patches.
  13. I get you, man. I don't have the technical knowledge to explain this, though. However, I have played online games for 20 years and this happens rather frequently. It's just a crappy mouse. Some last a month, some last 6 months. The one I'm using now has lasted a year. Sometimes it's the laser, sometimes it's the mechanical clicks (idk what they're called), but something always messes up. You just gotta get another mouse.
  14. Basically, you say it yourself. It's the input that is the problem. If it was the game, it would do it without your interaction with the mouse. This is the last I contribute to this conversation, so if you're too adamant in your understanding of this issue, then I wish you luck. But, I highly suggest just using a different mouse.
  15. That's fine. You have your mind set on this. However, this is a typical problem with a mouse. It's the input that is causing the screen to jump. It has happened to me on every. single. game. I just replace the mouse and the problem is solved. Another issue I run into is a "double-click." That's a huge nope in my book and I replace the mouse immediately.
