I agree with everything you said, except for two things. It was just as immature of you to intentionally sit through every flashpoint just to "get them back". If you speak of maturity, you should portray it as well. The second one is, and of course it's as long as they are polite, if the majority of the people have seen the flashpoint cutscenes tons of times and you have as well, if the three of them don't want to sit there and watch it, you should press space bar. It would be rude towards the majority of the players who have already sat through them tons of times. I could completely understand if it was your first time watching the cutscenes, and anyone who pushed for it to be skipped while knowing it was your first time is a jerk. However, if everyone has watched it multiple times and want to skip, it's the polite thing to do.

Seriously? Yeah, I guess if that's the case we shouldn't talk to the bad guy NPC's in quest either before we fight them because they're on the other side... oh wait.. THEY'RE NPC'S!! -_- Do you /whisper Malgus and Satele and see if they want to meet up for a duel? No? Ok then. Watching a cutscene and picking conversation lines is VERY different then talking to another player of the opposing faction. Please don't act as if they're the same thing.

One thing you're forgetting. If you actually need these relics to beat EV HM or KP HM, then you need to forget the relics, and either get better gear or get better at the game. Besides some of Denova HM, the relics aren't even close to necessary to have.

I'm both imp and pub, so i'm not picking sides. I understand the want to have esseles with speeders, but why is it either that or take them away from BT? Having speeders in BT doesn't effect pub side in anyway. It'd be different if something like rakata or war hero gear dropped, but it's measly tionese for the most part. There's really no reason to complain about BT having speeders, only that esseles doesn't. Isn't there a FP later pub side that you can skip all bosses but one? Thought I heard that somewhere. If that's the case, that should be addressed way before being able to use speeders in BT or Esseles.

I have a beast of a computer and I run my game at absolute max settings. Everything was fine up until recently, where I'm not so much lagging constantly, but out of no where my game will stutter. It's like it will freeze for a second, then all of a sudden unfreeze and everything is in a different place and I've lost a chunk of health. I know it's not my connection since I'm hard wired to my modem, aka no wifi. Seems to have started since the last or second to last patch. Please fix! In HM Denova one second can be the death of me!!!

Seems like you didn't realize they were base skills. It's no biggy, kinda confusing if you weren't here BEFORE legacy came out.

Ok ok to help clear things up. Orbital strike is an ability all agents get at level 48. There is also LEGACY orbital strike that you can unlock for all your characters by completing chapter 3 with your agent. The LEGACY orbital strike is much stronger than the regular orbital strike agents get. I'm pretty sure they look exactly alike as well. Each class unlocks a legacy ability for all of your characters once they reach level 50. These legacy abilities are upgraded versions of normal abililties each class has. Another example, all bounty hunters get flamethrower ability. But once you beat chapter 3 with the BH, you unlock LEGACY Flamethrower. It looks the same, but is MUCH stronger than the normal flamethrower ability. If you have completed chapter 3 with any of your lvl 50s, press p to go to your ability list, and look under legacy. There you will find your actual legacy abilities, which differ from your normal abilities. EDIT: Didn't see the last couple of posts. Pretty sure you were just getting hit by a higher geared person. There's no difference between legacy and normal Orb strike or any other skill. They look identical. Either that or you were confused at first and don't wanna admit it. Either way it's all gravy!

I can't tell if you're joking or not, but that's exactly what the trooper story is. "Find 4 BLANK on the 4 planets". Don't want to say what as to ruin the story, but again, that's exactly how it goes. Don't get me wrong, I thought the story was great, but don't mislead people.

Well when people tell you they don't want to kill all the trash mobs along the way, do you ignore them? If you do, and the other 3 want to move on, I see them being justified in kicking you. When it comes down to it, if you're the minority in the group when the other three want to do something, you should either go along with it, or find a new group. I can't possibly see what your guild name has to do with anything. I don't know what it is but I just don't think there's any way that could have a person decide whether or not they instantly don't like you or don't want to group with you. Also, I've never once experienced any sort of vote kicking. I've never even seen it happen in a group. I hate to say it man, but it seems as though you're doing something wrong. You may however be completely unaware of it. One more thing, if you've seen the cutscenes already, and so has everyone else. It's actually polite to skip them if that's what the majority wants. There's no need to watch them again while holding up other people. You have to remember to be fair to them as well.

Maybe you should actually read the post before commenting on it. He said "Once a week is what you should try to stick to unless it is absolutly crucial that you have to deviate from that schedule. " Note the "unless it is absolutly crucial that you have to deviate from that schedule" Obviously if something like that was happening it should be taken down. However, that has not been the issue. Please don't make ridiculous "what if" statements that barely apply to what the OP is talking about. He's completely right in the fact that there should not be this much down time. I work till 10pm and only get to play half the week. It seems that a lot of the time I can play for a few hours before the servers being shut down. I know that it is my specific schedule that is making it so that I get less play time then others, but I should still be getting more game time in than I currently am, but are not because of these downtimes. It's also very annoying that they don't seem to have things squared away when they actually go and shut down the servers to fix it. If you say it's going to be three hours, then it should be three hours. Don't say "It'll be three hours... (then 3 hours later), It will be two more hours, (then two hours later), We don't know when it'll be done". This really seems as though they are shutting down the servers without a concrete plan in place. I also agree that after enough down time, we should be compensated. We are paying for the game time, thus we should be able to enjoy our product we have purchased. Would you not want your money back if you went to see a movie, but halfway through they shut down the theater for repairs or what not? It seems as though they're not physically there in front of us, they can pretty much ignore or pleas for fairness. I find it disgusting, personally.

Exactly. People also need to realize just because they're a commando/merc who has healing abilities, that does NOT make you a healing/dps hybrid. Your spec tree decided what you are. Last night yet again, i had someone who had both dps and heals checked, so of course they were picked for healer. Then they say "I'm both a healer and a dps, my dps i better but i can heal as well too". Obviously they've never healed a group in a FP, or they'd realize how noobish this statement is. Your spec tree decides what role you play. If you chose the healing spec tree, you're a healer, not a healer/dps. If you chose the damage tree, you're dps, not dps/healer. Using the group finder has amazed me with how many people think they are hybrids.

Would really like this option. Would be good to have to help explain your class to others who haven't tried it yet.

Eh... If you want that, just pick commando bro. The whole point of picking vanguard is to have a melee/close range dps.

In my opinion, I think this would be awful. To be honest with you guys, I don't think there' a "solution" necessary. I know that it stinks that some people had to change their names, but as much as it does suck, it was necessary. You had the choice of switching to a new server and changing your name if it was taken already. I know you're thinking, "well I'm not going to stay on a dead server", and again, I feel for you. However, it was still YOUR choice. Would you rather be on a much lower populated server? I wouldn't want to. It's just one of the sacrifices you had to make when you chose the option to move. I don't see Bioware making any changes to this, and to be honest, I don't blame them. I'm sorry for everyone who had to change their name, but that's just the way it went. Best not to fret over it for too long.

Just a friendly reminder to everyone. Please make sure to check what role you have checked off in group finder. At least half of the Flash points i've went into using the group finder has turned out to be a wasted trip to the fleet because someone did not uncheck their healer option when they are dps, or something along those lines. I wouldn't mind it except for the fact that I'm brought to the fleet, and have to travel back to wherever I was before the que popped.

There's nothing wrong with this. They want you to play both sides and experience both stories. You don't have to get both characters to 50 either. Oh, and by the way.. You don't HAVE to do it. That's like saying it's crap to have to run Denova HM to get campaign gear. It's just a requirement. Also, though I haven't played many other MMOs, from what i hear, leveling is incredibly fast/easy in this game. No one should be complaining about it not being easy enough for them.

Me too, unless my character is a healer itself, then I use tank or dps depending on how easy the fight is. The main reason I use healer is because I'd rather not sit there and heal up after every fight. It gets annoying very quickly. Too bad there's no auto regen for health outside of combat. Yes I know there IS one, but I mean as fast as you would recharging. There would of course be stipulations to it, but it would be nice to keep on trucking to the next group of mods without recharging with the same animation over and over and over..and...over...and.... @_@
