  1. You know, I feel the same. I'd pay money for a replayable companion mission just to feed that urge from time to time to have some interaction with my original companions, or the ones who came back as romanceable. Ah well, I can dream, I guess, but seems like a missed opportunity for Bioware. As for Arcann, who knows if we'll even get a line or two out of him when we go to Elom? Again, I can dream.
  2. Bioware seems to be working under the assumption that players love companions, so let's just give them more. (Just to clarify) I don't want or need more, I'd just like to hear from those I've had for years, even if it's just a letter. This is especially true of the romanceable ones. Take Akaavi for instance. I have a male smuggler who got nothing at all when she was sent to help Mandalore, not even a letter. A little something like, I hate to leave you, but I have to do this. I'll miss you, blah, blah, blah. Surely there are romance flags that can be used for this, and it doesn't involve a voice actor or cut scene time. And then, of course, there's the issue with having the kill option for some. Still, something in the code has to have been flagged for those that did and those that didn't. I haven't heard from Doc, or Quinn, or any of the original companions. And I'm sure the same is true for those who play male characters. What about Risha and Mako? Just getting more companions isn't going to scratch that itch. I'm not greedy, but a little something in the mailbox from time to time would be nice.
  3. The crafting inventor conquest objective states to craft 100 of ANY item. My character went from 0 to 104 items crafted and not one of them counted. I thought maybe it was because I was only crafting the grafting materials, so crafted an implant. It did not count either. Logged onto a different character and the same thing. Quit the game, logged back in tried a different crafting skill and still doesn't count. Character name: Shyndyr-level 75 Sun Talyn Legacy Server: Star Forge Date: 9/4/21
  4. I've run into this bug almost every time. I put Ras on passive then move far enough away so the mobs deaggro. Once you're out of combat you can just hug the left outside wall to the boss fight. If you die, you'll rez far enough away so they don't aggro either. Again just hug the wall to the left and go at it again.
  5. This would be a QOL improvement if we could use quick travel inside spaceports. I know it's possible because on Tatooine, my Jedi Knight can use quick travel while still in the hangar. What's odd is that my Trooper has to leave the hangar but can quick travel when half way through the spaceport. However, my agent has to be nearly outside the spaceport entrance. In any case, being able to use quick travel in hangars or spaceports would be a wonderful, time saving thing, especially for dailies.
  6. So, my friend who ran an Inquistor through yesterday where Ras' level actually showed as 25, tried a pub character today and Ras was listed as level 1. Bioware could so easily put this issue to bed by showing the correct graphics instead of letting it fluctuate from one character to the next or one account to the next. Is Ras Ordo's level really 25 or is it 1? Also, why were we allowed to give him companion gifts that raise his influence when neither Tau Adair nor Major Anri got any influence raise at all? Regardless, I'd still like an answer as to Ordo's TRUE level.
  7. Ras Ordo is still only level 1 for my characters. The supposed fix evidently did not take for everyone. A friend of mine took her Inquisitor through last night and her Ras Order companion was level 25. I took a character through today who'd never touched the Avenger or Oblivion quests, or entered the SOV flashpoint pre patch. Ras is still level 1 for her. Why is it that the patch worked for some accounts and not for others? It makes no sense. Can you PLEASE fix this flashpoint for everyone? Character: Shyndyr Server: Satele Shan Legacy: Sun'Talyn Date: 1/29/21 Time: Approximately 5 to 6 PM EST.
  8. I may as well add my 2 cents here since I've done it everywhere else. I won't belabor about my particular disability except to say it hasn't prevented me from completing any solo story mode flashpoints up until this one. I do story mode because I'm not looking for any particular challenges. I only want to get the story done. The other issues aside, the adds in the final fight with Heta Kol are over tuned for story mode. I believe they are in Veteran mode which shouldn't be. I took the suggestion to buy comp gifts and gave them to Rass inside the instance. What I found strange was that even though he went to level 16 in the companion list (press N), if I look at his character profile, (press C) he's still listed as influence level 1. So which one is true? Either way, it doesn't seem to matter. He still gets rick-rolled on the second set of adds. As of now, I'll take my various characters through the story up to the flash point and call it quits. I won't be trying it again until they do something about the Heta Kol fight in solo story mode.
  9. Sorry you were offended. I've edited my Original Post.
  10. In the companion list and on his profile, Rass Ordo is set to level 1. I tried to give him gifts but it made no difference in his influence at all. Strange. I don't know if he's set to 25 behind the scenes or not. My guess is, he's not. And I think the silver adds are tuned to Veteran mode. They have too many HP and put out too much damage. It's frustrating to say the least. Solo story mode should be easy for anybody. There's always Vet and Master modes for those who care for something more challenging.
  11. I looked at my Rass Ordo's stats after the patch and he's still listed as influence 1, not 25. Also, the adds have too many health points and hit too hard for solo-story mode. I think they're still tuned to veteran to be honest. Hopefully the metrics will show that this flashpoint is not doable by everyone and they'll tone it down some more.
  12. I haven't had any of the cutscene problems, yet, however, I do wonder if Rass has truly been upgraded to level 25 since he still shows as level 1 in the companion list. I did encounter the evading mobs right before the Heta Kol fight, but could easily bypass them. And, as usual, I couldn't complete the fight with Heta. It's becoming frustrating at this point. The solo story mode should be completable by every player no matter their skill level or physical disability.
  13. Thanks, Dasty. I do have to wonder if Ras is truly level 25 on my characters since the companion list still has him at level 1. I even made it up to Heta Kol, before the supposed fix. I had no real problems with the first 3 bosses, died on the first one, but then was fine. I even made it through the pull from hell you mentioned and the tentacle pit. And I'm okay up to the second set of adds on Heta Kol. Then I get rick-rolled over and over and over again. Anyway, I do intend to wait until they tone it down a bit more. It won't take much to make it doable for everyone and I hope Bioware listens. In the meantime, I'll just do Echoes and stop. For now, it's all I can do.
  14. Agreed. Solo story should be easy mode not only for those of us with physical issues but just to get the story done even on classes that people don't play especially well. I can handle the flashpoint being tedious, and with some challenges but undoable is frustrating. In the meantime, I guess I'll take my characters through Echoes of Oblivion and let the SoV mission sit in the log until they either fix it or I give up on the game.
  15. I realize that anything after SOV is not available yet. But if they are dependent upon finishing SoV, therein lies the problem. For solo story mode, I expect it not to be as much a challenge as regular story, Vet or Master mode. I leave those for the more elite players who enjoy that sort of thing. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if they nerf it a bit just to let those of us with physical disabilities to continue. Reducing the HP and damage dealt by the adds would be helpful, especially on the Heta Kol fight.
  16. I would like to know if you have to complete the Spirit of Vengeance flashpoint to continue the Malgus story? If so, I fear my days with SWTOR may be over. This is due to my own inequities rather than the game's other than the fact you cannot invite anyone into the instance to assist in solo story mode on the first time run through. I believe this is an error on the part of Bioware, especially when completing a flashpoint is involved in story continuation. Being an elderly player, I have certain physical disabilities that make this flashpoint particularly difficult. It's a thing called kinetic tremors and affects hand coordination as well as reflex time. That's why I gave up PVP and Ops several years ago, much to my dismay. I had no problems with JUS or Onslaught, but Spirit of Vengeance is, I fear, too much for these old hands to handle. If, indeed, the Malgus story cannot continue if Spirit of Vengeance is not completed, it will be my signal to leave this game I've come to love.
  17. My top romances are: Andronikus: he makes no pretense about who or what he is. He doesn't judge. And, he's the only one who uses any sort of loving comments for his battle barks: "Thought I'd lost ya there." "Missed me, huh?" Theron: for the slow burn and his sense of humor. Jorgan: Grumpy exterior, gooey inside for the right person. Quinn: Slow burn, tortured soul, and I'm a sucker for a redemption arc. Vector: Romantic musings, profound thinker. Iresso didn't get enough face time, but is quite dedicated, Corso has his moments, Torian is adorable in his own Mando'a way, Doc goes from sleazy to actually quite sweet, Koth has some cute lines if you can get past his blind adoration of Valky. Arcann doesn't get enough traction to make any valid conclusions, again, another redemption arc. Hopefully BW will continue with the snippets of interaction along the way. I'm not greedy, I'll take a line or two if they're meaningful.
  18. I was happy enough with the update even though small it set up some interesting things for the future. And it wasn't like we weren't informed multiple times how small this update would be. I do have to give them credit for setting expectations. I was pleased with the Vector conversation which had him back to is old self and gave us some information on the new guy who I refer to as Darth Goth. He does love the black makeup doesn't he? It was also great that old love interests are getting some love, and that they are putting one male, one female in the updates to keep it fair. I hope to see more of this in the future. As for Scourge, I'm a bit hesitant to take my JK through since they never confirmed that the romance bug was fixed, so guess I'll keep her on hiatus for a bit longer. Oh, and the setup for Malgus could go a multitude of ways. It'll be interesting to see where they take his story. As for the stronghold, I'll have to wait and see. I'm in no hurry to buy, but it would be a great get away for my IA and Vector as another poster pointed out.
  19. I got the same email. Here's hoping it will be fixed before the next part of the story comes out. I'm not taking my JK through anything else until things are set right with my Scourgy-poo.
  20. Really like the show so far. The production quality is great, and though the Mandalorian is rather stoic, we do get small insights into his characters such as the flashback and his reaction with a certain little fellow. The music is very reminiscent of 'the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.' There hasn't been a decent space western since Firefly got axed.
  21. Good points and we also have to remember that Marr is a force ghost now, so who knows where he's been off to or up to. In a way, I hope it's not Revan, but only time will tell.
  22. You're probably right that the shuffling of companions caused this issue. I wasn't going all Henny-Penny, but it would be a kick in the nads if somehow a Sab decision caused a permanent rift. I shudder to think. As it is, I feel bad for keeping Theron around in the alliance with my SI, my only DS 5 character, it might have been kinder to exile him. And Quinn would be apoplectic if a SW was working for the Republic. Makes for interesting head canon though. Not pleasant, but interesting.
  23. I suppose what bothers me the most is why this is even in the game that a romanced character can break up with the main character. Unless this has something to do with the Saboteur story line where the MC's actions could cause a LI to separate ways. What a kick in the head that would be, especially if there's no way to get them back. Looking at Theron here. Either way, some trigger point got changed somewhere and I do hope they can fix it soon.
  24. Thanks for acknowledging this, Eric. I have submitted an in game ticket as you requested. I don't want to lose my big red guy after waiting for so long.
  25. This is highly annoying especially since it's in a phased instance, and part of a daily, and the mobs all despawn after defeating the end boss. I hope they fix this soon and it's not an intentional ploy in future Mek Sha H2 to make the content harder. What it does is make me not want to do the content at all.
