  1. You mean crafting that creates purple augments that everybody needs now and orange gear with augment slots that everybody needs now too, that crafting? What's so undesirable about it?
  2. Don't know about devs, but you do seem to be a bit "light-headed" lol. It has been stated multiple times that bonus only transfers for new gear (i.e. WH gear mods into crafted gear). Bonus on old gear (BM, et al) is attached to the shell itself.
  3. Problem: In hybrid build those heals are so small that they don't make any difference, so you are basically suggesting changes to full madness build, which is not very popular due to it being extra squishy even by sorc standards. The changes don't improve the build itself in any meaningful way - it still lacks burst and remains as squishy as before. They also don't do much for a group - as you've mentioned, marauders/sentinels already do heal-by-damage thing. IMHO, this won't do anything for the class. I'd rather seem a change to 31pt skills in both dps trees that provide burst capability. You are missing the point - people are not talking about scoreboards, they are talking about burst damage. Pre-1.2 sorcs at least had some weak immitation of burst from time to time when they would proc instant CL and have death field off cooldown, which is now completely gone. The scoreboard is meaningless, because in this game dots keep ticking after the caster dies, plus 3 warzones out of 4 are very aoe-friendly. So, a dps class that is based on aoe damage + dots can always top the scoreboard both in dmg and kills (aoe tags multiple targets and you get credit for everyone when somebody kills it). Oh, and by the way, now with CL gone sorcs have to spam even more force lightning - they simply don't have any other skill to use most of the time, which in turn makes them even easier to shut down by simply interrupting FL.
  4. The only way to do it is to allow a full 8-player premade and create a separate queue for those premades. With the current system (4-player premade + 4 pugs) you will end up with "everybody who is anybody" in PvP sitting on the same voice comms, queue solo, and form a "premade" after wz popped. I.e. "everybody who is in my huttball, drop to channel 2 on comms" - instant pre-made.

    PvP Server Change.

Why would you want that, other than for grieving lowbies? Especially given that all 50s hang out on the fleet?
  6. It's not just for a person who uses the emote, but for everybody in the vicinity. Highly annoying.
  7. We already can solo queue with guildmates - all it takes is asking "did your queue just pop?" on voice comms.
  8. ...then focus fire a sorc/sage without cool downs and compare the results.
  9. You didn't get the memo? It's a special 31/31/31 sorc + 31/31/31 sin build, that gets highest dps, highest healing, highest protection, is immune to everything and dual wields double bladed lightsabers just for kicks. Oh, it also has a spammable bubble that absorbs 20k damage and can chain CC people regardless of their resolve bar.

    Unfair pvp system

You might want to...uhm...speak just for yourself maybe? We actually do like gear grinding in PvP - that's why we are still here instead of playing CoD. We indeed don't do PvE content, but that has nothing to do with gear - we simply hate PvE itself. A PvP system that doesn't depend on gear absolutely has to involve skill, and no, ability to press 3 buttons in a sequence doesn't count as such. Everybody who is interested in testing their skills does it in completely different games, which were designed with that concept in mind. Attempts to turn SWTOR into a GW2 clone will simply result in it being a very poor GW2 clone.
  11. +1. If they were interested in feedback, they would have reworked the class changes long time ago, not to mention gear itemization.
  12. "reduce parity" means the exact opposite of what you think it means...just saying

    Gear vs no gear

We are not assuming, we know for a fact that you're lying - you will do more than 2k dmg per minute on a BM geared target even if you are completely naked. We also know for a fact what the difference between Cent/Champ/BM gear is and where the soft cap on expertise is. It takes what, about 3 days to get full cent set? Most people can handle being "demotivated" for a few days.
  14. /facepalm You do realize that it's actually faster to yank the cable out of the wall/router or power cycle that router than click on "leave warzone" button, right?
  15. Aion could handle 100v100 (i.e. 4 alliances on each side) without much of a problem. It was a bit sluggish, but nowhere near being a slideshow.
  16. That sounds like a useful feature, although PvE crowd is better qualified to comment on this. What do you mean by "switch alliances" - transfer toon from one faction to another? "WoW has it" is not a valid reason for doing anything, but it is a valid reason for not doing something. Besides, why would you want to change range on shadows? Bad idea. Why would anybody take a healer into WZ if they can't heal others? In-game tutorials are pretty comprehensive as they are. Reason for whom? PvPers will avoid it like a plague, just like we avoid every other place with "PvE elements". PvEers will complain about getting ganked while interacting with those PvE elements. I think it will just make everybody upset. First of all, this will make for extremely long queues for casual players and new players, as most PvPers have at least one piece of BM gear right now. Second, why would it give incentive to go to Tat? People will want to gear up and in order to do that they will need to play WZs. Going to Tat doesn't get you closer to getting PvP gear.
  17. If you were good enough at math to analyze data in minutes, you wouldn't be thinking that it takes hundreds of hours to level and gear a toon in this game.
  18. Just out of curiosity, what is your class? A premade that sits on voice comms will always win against unorganized pugs, given comparable gear, simply because premade is better organized. This holds true in any game and has nothing to do with gear, lag, bugs, etc. Even the most basic stuff like "I am on the left catwalk, pass me the ball" or "need more people at the right door" makes all the difference. Oh, and your "real problem" is not a problem at all - we'd rather play against other premades or at least less casual players, winning a huttball game 6-0 in 3 minutes flat is only amusing the first 3-4 times. After that it gets boring.
  19. Happens to all of us, and yes, it should have been fixed long time ago. Most likely a tankassin build with all cooldowns up, probably with a healer nearby. Learn to deal - some builds make for a very good ball carrier. 4 warzones per day indicate that you are more into PvE than PvP, which means you are not running with a premade, which in turn means that you get roflstomped by any premade you play against. Again, learn to deal.
  20. You are way off target here. The basic idea is "what do I get for my money", not "what vendor will spend my money on". In case of SWTOR you pay for the ability to play the game, where exactly your $15 goes is irrelevant - you shell out cash, BW provides the service, everybody lived up to their end of the bargain. In case of taxes that new road (for example) is what you are supposed to get for your money, so when it doesn't get built, it's perfectly natural for you to ask what happened to your money, as promised service was not provided.
  21. Leaving the most OP class alone while nerfing everybody else = "huge buff" in comparison. A class that doesn't rely on procs is more difficult to play than class that does? For real? I think anybody who has all their fingers still functioning will find mara much easier to play than a sorc.
  22. No, it won't - it will be more class dependent. A perfect team would consist of a tank (in all defense spec), 2 healers, and 5 classes with hostile grapple ability. The opposing team will lose automatically unless they have the same class makeup.
  23. What would you call it, if not discrimination? You are suggesting that if 2 people happen to play the same class as their main, they shouldn't be allowed to form a premade. On top of that, somebody who plays a popular class (like marauder at the moment) should, according to you, have longer WZ queues than everybody else. After all that you expect to be taken seriously?
  24. So, the weakest class in 1v1 tries to survive by disengaging from a fight...why do you guys find it so surprising?

    Marking

It's just a pipe dream, sorry bro. Pugs can't even be trained to focus fire marked target, which by the way makes me wonder why folks QQ about markings so much - premades will just call targets on voice comms and pugs don't pay any attention to markings anyway.
