The problem is, all that costs money, then he *****es about the way BW raises said money (Cartel market). It's like he expects them to pull a programming miracle out of the dev skeleton crew's ***. Well, that powerball drawing is tonight in Texas, maybe BW Austin will win.

Information Regarding GTN Search Issues
NermalDetonator replied to EricMusco's topic in General Discussion
Shadowlands Cant search for Dasta Colossus MInas Wasp MSM JT-9 Jetpack Moreover when you go to sell these items, you cant set the price. It defaults to 112500 credits and wont let you enter a new one. I'm not sure if anyone else noted this bug. Whats strange is other items that do not show up, such as enigmatic artifact fragments and ruusan crystals do let you change the price. -
Ohh, listen to Mr Tough guy! He'd surely go in there and clean up the low staff and old engine limitations single handedly. I mean, this is someone with a 10+ year old mindless grinding "achievement" AND a self-quote in his sig! Clearly he's big time!

Feel free to prove your creds then if you want to claim them then. If you actually had the same job, you'd know why a PR schlub comments on easy topics like where some crappy stickies went, and why they dont answer harder questions related to lack of content, market fixes, tradeskill balance etc.
-
Sure, why not, its the internet. I'll be a time traveling ninja. What do you want to pretend to be tomorrow?
-
You not personally experiencing the bug doesnt mean there isnt one. I've LISTED things that then dont appear in search. Radar Tower, Snowtrooper Helmet, etc. The devs admit its bugged, but hey, if you want to double down on on being wrong, be my guest.

Sorry, but your ignorance and inability to read subtext is not the film-makers or actor's fault.

I'm not sure why people cant understand that more downtime after each trash kill, or taking more time to kill trash is not the same thing as a challenge. Its a timesink. SWTOR is designed around many, many, weak battles. It would require a complete redesign to get to Dark Souls level challenge, and there's honestly no money for that. Mission bosses certainly could be more difficult - it's a joke to kill your rival so easily who had been plaguing you in cutscenes for 3 chapters. But the random chumps you meet on the way need to fall fast.

Kylo had suffered a bowcaster bolt to the gut, a weapon which had been shown to inflict an obscene amount of damage and toss everyone else like a ragdoll. However more importantly, he was out of alignment with the force. The Sith draw on their passions, and Kylo had clearly lost a lot of heart after killing his father. He was plagued by doubt and grief at that moment, which hampered his connection to the force. Moreover, he still beats Finn rather easily in their final encounter. Rey, in addition to almost certainly being Luke's daughter, was in synch with force - she let it flow through her so to speak. So yeah, a living vessel will trump someone who cant muster the will to use the force correctly. Kylo had shown his potential earlier - using telekinesis to grab a blaster bolt mid air, overwhelming people's minds easily, etc. Vader didnt have those same powers even at his height (hence relying on the probe droid to interrogate Leia). Ren shows a lot of untapped potential if he can purge himself of the light side. Vader is also a ******* in that regard, particularly killing Captain Needa. Yep, let's kill a valuable and competent commander because one of the best pilots in the galaxy eluded him. Let's ignore the other rebel transports he captured. Lets ignore how he chose to honorably accept responsibility. Better to toss that away in a hissy fit. Thrawn makes Vader look like the oaf he is.

The Force Awakens: You have to go see this movie!
NermalDetonator replied to DeLaaNie's topic in STAR WARS Discussion
I get critical thinking isnt taught in schools anymore, but try using your brain to type out a meaningful critique. If familiar characters, narrative beats, a hero's journey, family drama etc dont make it feel like a star wars movie, I dont know what to say. -
The Force Awakens: You have to go see this movie!
NermalDetonator replied to DeLaaNie's topic in STAR WARS Discussion
So much this. It's telling that those trying to muster cool cred cant even string a substantive sentence together on why it "doesnt feel like a star wars movie". I was too little for Ep IV, but remember Empire in the theatre - the wampa scaring me, the thrill of the AT-AT's, seeing Yoda. This brought those feelings back as well. The dialogue was easily the best of any of the films possibly barring Empire, the effects a great blend of practical and digital, and a stellar performance out of Harrison Ford. After Crystal Skull, I was worried he just wouldnt give a damn, or worse, look tired and old. Nothing to fear on that count! Rey, Finn and Poe are great additions, and I'm sorry to those who hate levity in anything, but BB-8 was cute as hell. Great movie, great Star Wars movie. I guess avoid if you're a joy-less sad sack drowning in hipster irony. -
Stronghold decor insanely expensive for what?
NermalDetonator replied to Fatumx's topic in General Discussion
I disagree with that line of logic. . Its not like the credits used to buy an item off the GTN are any more real. A rare fake bed is going to cost lots of fake credits if people want it. Some people are motivated by a .01% increase in damage, so will pay a stupid amount of credits for that. Others are motivated by appearance items. I dont give a damn grinding for some purple mod I wont even be able to tell the difference once its installed, but add a rainbow mullet or a golden statue of a stormtrooper wrestling a bear, and we're on. In terms of cartel coins, its all trading real currency for an appearance only item anyways. -
Thank you for the valuable feedback that if they dont retain boring god mode for you, you'll take your ***** baby 10 bucks elsewhere. Laters!
-
The kind of player that wants to godmode to the next cut scene doesn't tend to stick around long anyways. Next they'd be ************ there's no content,.

10 races that are better than Cathar.
NermalDetonator replied to Beans_of_steel's topic in Suggestion Box
Mostly because the people who want something truly exotic split their votes between mon cal, trandoshans, wookies, rodians, ithorians, etc. Add up the total of the exotics to get a better picture of what people want other than cathar. I guarantee they's lose in a runoff of cathar vs a single iconic SW race from the original trilogy. -
R2? Scorpio? 4-LOM? IG-88?
-
Not really. Most of them already have the muscle attachments mapped from NPC's. Each human face doenst have an individual mapping. Its a skin laid over the map.
-
It could be, but the person arguing would be stupid and wrong. Nearly every race speaks basic. The only notables that CANT are jawas and most wookies and gamorreans/

So P4G instead of G4P?
-
As opposed to the ray of sunshine that ToR and WoW have?

I urge people to calm down about F2P, and check out DDO
NermalDetonator replied to ZionHalcyon's topic in General Discussion
What F2P games have you been looking at? For example, CoH and DCO all added new power sets after going f2p, at a rate faster than on subscription only. Of course, the fastest content expansion was EQ1, with subs AND paid expansions. -

Dude, name 3 top tier NON FTP games. WoW and... and...? F2P is the new sustainable model. It gets content out quickly and efficiently. Look at CoH, DDO, LOTR, DCO etc, all of which were able to deliver stuff faster to subscribers because of the impulse buy factor of micro purchases. A lot more people will buy a 3 buck lightsaber crystal and jawa hat than subscribe each month. It benefits the non-subber and subber alike. And its great if you want pvp, since its a TON of new people to play against. -
I'd just like a last name, or for them to allow spaces. This game has terrible naming schemes in general.

I got my agent to 50, and the face paints are still class/faction specific. Which is a shame, because I'd love the BH skull warpaint/tat on a Juggernaut. I wish the devs would open up customization a bit more...
