  1. The opportunity cost of selling them for the going rate is still present. Unfortunately, none of the idiotic crafters on my server realize this, so the market is already trashed where its pointless to make them. You're better off selling the mats and just buying what you want. Augments are the only thing to turn a profit at this point.
  2. My big fat bounty hunter needs a speedo and bow tie. And a "Hello Laaaaadies" speech emote.
  3. Yeah, since this isnt an asian P2Win mmo, highly doubtful. But you enjoy that tinfoil hat...
  4. I get to pick and choose what I want to purchase. Its casual friendly, because I can play whenever and not have to maintain a subscription. Moreover, it speeds development. Look at City of Heroes, and the vast amount of powersets, costumes, etc which come much faster with micro transactions than subscription, and the cost ends up being roughly similar.
  5. Best: Belsavis. Its really pretty, and I dig the dark masters story. Its a shame they ruined them with the recent "upgrades" to their appearance though. Worst: Balmora. Its PITA to navigate, particularly without a speeder. Its also too damn long... by the time you finish it, you've outleveled Nar Shadda and maybe Tatooine!
  6. Huh. I dont even think I realized it WASNT body type 4 (or 3, or whatever the heck it is). They seemed smaller than Khem val. They could/should just scale em down to that. Really, once they have the skeleton/skin, its really easy to make a creature bigger or smaller. We could have rancor sized jawas! UTINI!
  7. You still havent stated why Trandoshans are "extreme humanoids". They use the same skeleton as rodians, humans, etc, and wear the same gear. They're no more "extreme" than mon-cal.
  8. I'd like an orange version of lots of companion only gear. Gault's jacket is pretty sweet.
  9. Or just throw a level 49 green augment in there. I'm still scratching my head who is buying the 20k+ Grade 6 purple slicing components to craft augments for 80k. I can only assume its some sort of grand, intergalactic conspiracy run by the Barely Break Even Mafia.
  10. Its why you run them through modulators/autotune (for rodians).
  11. I'd put it closer to 60%, at least on emp side my server. Lots of Sith purebloods, zabraks, red twilek and chiss. Its like any other form of customization. You see lots of threads on wanting new end game gear, other than the ugly crap with giant plane wings attached at the shoulder, and few people will obtain that...
  12. Maybe Bioware decided they wasted enough slots on skittle people and lolborgs?
  13. 1. Trandoshan 2. Rodian 3. Mon Cal I'm not sure why Trandoshans count as "extreme humans". They use the same skeleton, and the face to skull animation links are already done for speech thanks to the ones that already appear in cut scenes.
  14. They could run the speech through a modulator if they really wanted to make it different. Would be kind of cool for trandoshans (my other must have race for this to be considered a proper star wars game). Oh no, but I wouldn't get to display Bioware's ugly *** helmets!
  15. Now you'll see what bounty hunting is all about! I actually did a spit take when my character said that in a "have sex" flirt prompt.
  16. You already do. Just bioware wont let you play them.
  17. Hutt yes. Sand person, no (they're actually humans anyways). Mon Cal? ALREADY DONE> Trandoshian? ALREADY DONE. Rodian?ALREADY DONE. All they have to do is throw the switch. The faces/skins are already linked to the skeleton for animations (owing to the large number of cut scenes with these races). There would be fewer customization choices, but I'll take less over none.
  18. Its amazing how you know what I want better than myself! I mean, I just THINK I'd like to play something other than a skittle person, but thank god you and Bioware are here to tell me I dont.
  19. Or toggle on the "universal translator" in your earpiece to have your groupmates speech be translated for you.
  20. Its not. Bioware is just using any excuse to try and justify THEIR preference and laziness in only proving skittle colored humans (sometimes with bits of crap stuck on their face). Almost all the major species can speak basic anyways. Rodians, Mon Cal, Trandoshians, Ithorians, Nemoidians, Duros, Sullustans, etc. Pretty much just wookies, jawas, ugnaughts and most gamorreans cant.
  21. Mine is fairly the same. He offers those who cant get justice recourse in the empire. I'm hovering around the upper end of light 2, with 2k+ in dark side choices. If you're a criminal, or "in the game", you're fair game as far as I'm concerned, which includes mob accountants and other upper end non-combatant types. But lots of the dark choices are just so stupidly pointless I have a hard time justifying them to even evil characters. And lots of light side points seem awarded just to make sure there is a light side option for many choices, as opposed to it just being simply neutral. Why exactly do I get light side points for letting Thana Vesh live? She's a, homicidal psychopath. If my evil inquisitor likes her (and wants to bone her), its not exactly a "good" choice to not kill an ally. Same with some options where you take bribes to not kill people or whatever. The biggest "what" moment is that rescuing the killik joiner chick, who was abducted and fed personality altering drugs (Stockholm syndrome on crack), awards DS points. So if a cult kidnaps someone, drugs and brainwashes them, and their parents want them back, we're supposed to take the word of the temporarily insane person that they really want to be with their kidnappers?
  22. Since it doesn't look like it matters what is turned into kit components, it seems bracers use the least amount of mats. You might do better selling what you didnt crit and making some bracers to grind up in their place.
  23. Looking at the gift one, for a 15% increase in gifts, you need to shell out 250k. At most, this saves you about 1300 affection, assuming you gain NO affection from conversations. So roughly 13 rank 5 blue gifts, 78 per character (5 comps + ship droid). Please correct me if I'm off though, but if I'm adding it up, I'm not seeing this as cost effective, at least on my server, where they run about 3k each for pretty much everything except cultural artifacts. Same with the conversation one.
