  1. Do you believe everything you see on twitter if the majority agree with it?
  2. But look on the bright side, there's um, .... well, there's the...., um.... oh, never mind.
  3. I server transferred off of Harbinger to Pot5 so I wouldn't have to compete for spawns. I wish people would just use their monthly cartel coin grant and transfer, rather than complaining about it. I do not want to end up on an over populated server again. I do not want to lose my character's names. I do not want server mergers. I do support permanent low cost or free server transfers. They certainly could add sufficient restrictions to prevent free server transfers from being abused.
  4. Even the lucky are discouraged. I had my 6 pc set bonus and all supplemental slots early (around CL30 + a set piece from an alt) and had to grind out the rest of T1 levels, disintegrating everything. It just makes you feel hopeless knowing you will get absolutely nothing that you need for 50+ levels. Then the realization sets in that the first 180 levels are a complete waste of time because everything you get up until then is throw away gear once you start looting T3 stuff.
  5. I think you should be able to earn 1 guaranteed set piece that you need by doing any of the following: 1 HM Operation 20 warzones 10 ranked warzones 10 GSF 20 veteran level PvE content 10 master level PvE content Completing All H2S and Dailies
  6. Players want to play the content they want on the characters they want to earn the rewards they want. The developers provided a system that encourages players to play certain content on a single character to earn a random chance at something, that is usually unwanted.
  7. I thought they said that Galactic Command was going to simplify things for us.
  8. I primarily solo or duo. I do not want the only alternative to 300+ hours of grind to be gated behind Ops or PvP. They have not provided a solution other than Ops or PvP for gearing other classes or specs that doesn't result in an additional 300+ hours EACH. I cancelled my 6 month sub but still have a lot of time left. At this point nothing has changed that has made me want to consider resubbing.
  9. It works! Simply elegant. Your system: Do something YOU want... earn something YOU WANT. Their system: Do something THEY want... earn a chance at something RANDOM. The inclusion of the following is huge for those that don't want to focus on Ops and PvP but still want to have a chance to be geared without a 300+ hour grind. H2s, Dailies, Weeklies Flashpoints Uprisings Chapters They can also let the earned tokens be spent on other items such as vanity or companion gifts for those who don't want to pursue the gear or have already completed their sets.
  10. To expand on that, they say "play and have fun", but then create game systems that require an endless amount of grinding to achieve the goals. Altering our playstyles so that we can chase the carrot they dangled in front of us is work, not play, and certainly not fun in the long run. Ops and PvP will be the only way to have a chance to avoid the 300+ hour grind that doesn't even guarantee you'll be geared up at the end of it. Their new uprisings as well as flashpoints and other daily/weekly content is being ignored when considering the new components and tokens. By the time you reach 300+ and have your shiny new gear they'll release new gear ratings which will completely invalidate our gains. We need to time to earn AND ENJOY the gear we're getting. They're just trying to keep us busy with a nonsense grind so we'll stay subscribed.
  11. This suggestion is for non-PvP and non-Ops playstyles covering the following content types: H2s / Dailies Veteran / Master mode FPs Veteran / Master mode Uprisings Veteran / Master mode Chapters Problems: Failing to get set pieces due to RNG Getting duplicate set pieces due to RNG Suggestions: Allow duplicate set pieces to be exchanged for unassembled set piece components of the same tier Allow veteran and master mode content to have a chance to drop unassembled set piece components from the final boss Veteran mode should have a very low chance (suggestion: 5%) Always drops tier 1 [*]Master mode should have a low chance (suggestion: 10%) Always drops tier 2 [*]Allow command tokens to be used, along with credits, to purchase assembled set pieces Tier 1 gear should be purchasable once you reach tier 2 command tokens + 1 million credits per piece [*]Tier 2 gear should be purchasable once you reach tier 3 command tokens + 2 million credits per piece [*]Tier 3 gear should be purchasable once you reach command level 300 command tokens + 4 million credits per piece [*]Add a weekly mission for completing all planetary missions that rewards a small number of unassembled set piece components
  12. The command tokens still won't encourage use of alts. The problem is that playing an alt means you are refocusing on a lower tier's grind and taking time away from your main character's progress toward tier 3.
  13. This suggestion is for solo and small group playstyles covering the following content types: H2s / Dailies Veteran / Master mode FPs Veteran / Master mode Uprisings Veteran / Master mode Chapters Problems: Failing to get set pieces Getting duplicate set pieces Suggestions: Allow duplicate set pieces to be exchanged for unassembled set piece components of the same tier Allow veteran and master mode content to have a chance to drop unassembled set piece components from the final boss Veteran mode should have a very low chance (suggestion: 5%) Always drops tier 1 [*]Master mode should have a low chance (suggestion: 10%) Always drops tier 2 [*]Allow command tokens to be used, along with credits, to purchase assembled set pieces Tier 1 gear should be purchasable once you reach tier 2 command tokens + 1 million credits per piece [*]Tier 2 gear should be purchasable once you reach tier 3 command tokens + 2 million credits per piece [*]Tier 3 gear should be purchasable once you reach command level 300 command tokens + 4 million credits per piece [*]Add a weekly mission for completing all planetary missions that rewards a small number of unassembled set piece components
  14. We went from being able to buy a specific gift we needed and wanted, to having a random chance to possibly get a gift. And, even if we do get a gift, its most likely not legendary. And then there's the bugged courting gifts still in the loot table. Edited: I have 48 characters on Harbinger and 30 characters on Prophecy of the Five. Whenever I play an alt I feel like I'm wasting my time. I'm rank 86 on my main, and 12+ on 3 alts. I'm so frustrated with the GC I couldn't bring myself to play the last couple of days. I feel nothing but dread and desperation when I think about the remaining levels. I cancelled my 6 month recurring subscription last week, but still have 4 months left. I can't wait for ESO's housing launch in February. I've gone from a huge fan to a hater with this system.
  15. They should be allowed to have 9999 for their loyalty.
  16. The problem with focus groups is... Often can't think outside of their past experiences Are easily influenced by others in the group or the group moderator Are easily influenced by how information is presented Unable to clearly communicate what they want May not actually enjoy the thing they say want May not be representative of the majority May not have enough context or understanding to provide informed feedback What would the answers to the following questions be: Would you like to earn gear by playing the content you wish to play? Would you like a system that regularly rewards you gear? Would you like an opportunity to exchange unwanted items toward getting another item sooner? Would you like a chance to get great rewards? Would you like to be able earn rewards while experiencing fun, repeatable content? Compare those above questions to asking: Would you like a very small chance to obtain the gear you want only after playing hundreds of hours of content that you've previously played?
  17. I think I'll be spending some cartel coins on the wampa. I enjoyed the wampa from SWG, and I'll do a little reminiscing.
  18. I'm primarily a solo / duo player, and personally don't have difficulty with the chapters. But the way they presented this made it sound like a fun thing to do with your friends. It wasn't. It just seems odd that both people wouldn't get a reward, the same way that every other groupable quest works.
  19. I thought they said you would be able to take a group into chapters. I may be doing it wrong, but it seems like only the instance owner gets any quest CXP for doing them. Why would I ask a friend to tag along with me for up to 30 minutes where they have no chance of getting a CXP reward other than from a few kills? Am I doing it wrong? Is this working as intended? If so, why was it done this way?
  20. I primarily solo or duo. I would prefer to do H2s/dailies on multiple alts instead of endlessly repeating the same flashpoints, uprisings or those painful chapters. They need to make the crate claiming be selectable. Allow you to choose the class, advanced class, and discipline that you want the crate to be. That would allow me to get gear for my alts while playing my main, or vice versa.
  21. Exactly, you're not gearing so you do something, you're just gearing up for the sake of having the gear.

I had already cancelled my 6 month auto renewing subscription Friday. I'm not saying I'm quitting, but I'm going to force myself to make a conscious decision each month as to whether I'm having more fun than frustration.
  23. When I ran full screen (non-windowed), I'd have to sign out (faster than restart) to close it, because I couldn't get Task Manager to get the focus. When I run full screen windowed, at least Windows detects that the application is hung and I'm given the option of killing it.
