  1. I wonder if it has more with how it would appear on lower resolution monitors. If there wouldn't be enough room for 8 plus the additional information they're now showing. It certainly could of been arranged differently, but I don't know that its really impacting me much. I don't believe that the argument of 8 classes means there should be 8 slots shown is necessarily valid. How many people have more than 8 characters? How many of the people who have exactly 8 characters don't have duplicated classes. With characters showing up in the order they were logged in, rather than any class order, I don't know that there needs to be any correlation between the # of characters to display on a screen and the number of legacy classes you've achieved.
  2. I wanted to re-experience the story with all of my abilities already learned. I knew the content wouldn't be difficult, but I thought it would be interesting. Hopefully they'll rethink this in the future and allow it.
  3. One of the things I appreciate most about 4.0 is that I don't feel like I'm subsidizing the f2p players. I feel that the generous loot drops, including decorations, and the excellent story telling make the price of $15 well worth it for me. I think it is true that 4.0 is being targeted at the more casual, yet paying player. Give the players what they're willing to pay for, at a fair price.
  4. I think we get 2 additional slots for free. The level 60 character will add another. After that you have to purchase the rest, up to a maximum of 40.
  5. I was thinking the presence I get from my legacy. 100 for having leveled a human, and the rest for having maxed affection on all companions prior to 4.0.
  6. Except that I have no control over my influence. I'm an alt-aholic. So now that I'm going back and leveling a new alt, I'm more overpowered due to my legacy. We need player controlled options that allow a player to make their personal combat more challenging, without making it more difficult for any other player.
  7. We're not all the same, and people like options. One possible solution would be to provide the user a companion difficulty slider that allows a player to determine just how much help they want from their companions. So people who want the previous level of difficulty could have it without impact those who prefer more assistance.

  9. Even after August 10 people needed to stay subscribed. People weren't eligible for the early access until they satisfied all of the requirements, including the last. Therefore the message should of been left up to remind them to keep subscribing.
  10. I just had one of my children assassinated last night. At least that's how it felt when I deleted a character that I've had for over two years. There was also a large credit and cartel coin loss. He had been a crafter who knew most of his skills schematics. He had custom cartel gear and many perks unlocked via cartel coins. I had to level that crew skill on a different character, which is time consuming and expensive; in both credits and materials. Some schematics are no longer obtainable. I realize none of these things are the end of the world, but as I mentioned, its frustrating and discourages me.
  11. I know it was mentioned that they're considering this. But I'm ready for more character slots now. I have too much time, money (cartel coin unlocks and purchased gear), and effort (rare unlocks) on my characters that I hate to delete them after I max them out. I really want to keep all of my characters together for crafting purposes, so a server transfer just doesn't really work for me. As a player since beta, and a subscriber since launch, I'm still enjoying the game. But what I truly enjoy the most is the leveling process, and I feel like I've hit a frustrating obstacle with the character limit. Please allow us to have more characters per server.
  12. My crashes are much worse. Instead of having the graphics reset on me, and being able to resume, I know always crash.
  13. I have this problem too. About once an hour the driver crashes and automatically restarts. The game doesn't crash, however the screen goes blank while it recovers. i7-3770 GTX 980 16 gb RAM I've tried lowering my graphic settings and it still has the same issue.
  14. I had this problem once last week, and again today. I waited with two others for the balloon to arrive, and while it was about 1 or 2 minutes away, it despawned. There was no shadow visible. I waited around a while (not another full interval) but did not see the balloon again.
