  1. I wonder what people mainly use their CC breakers for. Is it so you can take an action/attack/cast or is it mainly so you can move and retreat or attack. That's where the connection of resolve bar and my actual character begin to get a little blurred. When I see the resolve bar, the feeling that I get is that I at that point am immune to anything that would stop my movement. When a casual player might encounter this they believe that resolve is not working or is just simply broken all together. With roots and snare and the difference between the two being near neglligible in actual combat you can see where they might draw that conclusion. I don't think that the resolve system is broken persay, but it could take a look through for some fine tuning. Increase the time, adjust the vaules on resolve generation or sosmething along those lines. Resolve is not diminishing returns, they're accomplishing the same thing overall in the end. Maybe resolves the more hardcore of the two, but I seriously doubt that since you have no direct control over either.
  2. I'm quite good actually. CC is ridiculous and if you really looked at how it effects the pvp in some points you'd know. Just like how some classes benifit most in some warzones, alot of classes benefit from the crazy CC.. **** I know I do, but it's not reason to let it get out of hand. I'd rather have good game play, than the CC-easybutton / frustration it can be sometimes. #OpnUrIez
  3. Resolve and diminishing returns aren't working the same in SWTOR. I think they approached a way of diminishing returns more ridigly. It's basically a straight cut-off of all CC for a set amount of time DEPENDING on the actual CC that put you into RESOLVE IMMUNITY or at least how it is intended to work. First Resolve is granted at 1000/1000 resolve points and you will be immune to all incoming CC (stuns). Realize that if your Resolve Bar is sitting at 999/1000 that you ARE NOT immune to CC until you've surpassed the 1000 threshold. Follow me here: Each CC thats on the resolve table grants a certian amount resolve points. A 4 second stun grants more resolve than a 2 second stun in return a 4 second mezz/sleep will also grant more resolve than a 2 second stun but less resolve than a 4 second stun. I fairly sure this is how it works on my Sith Assassin. My Shock ability a 4 second stun fills resolve... My Mezz ability (out of combat 4 second sleep) grants about 75% resolve. I can perform two before someones resolve is full and they are immune... Spike a 2 second knockdown (****** one at that) grants little resolve just under a 3rd.. Now how diminishing returns works in my understanding is that stuns would not only at a point become completely negated, but before reaching that point the CC would also become less and less effective. Your 4 second stun now only stuns for 3 or 2 seconds, and then the target is completely immune to that one ability? or it all? This I'm not sure.. I'm probably off somewhere there but I hope it is a overall view of it. SWTOR could adopt something like this and maybe blend the two in some way. The Resolve System is a cool, fresh idea. You should already know that it would not be perfect in it's first implementation. So tweaking should definately be on the option reel for Bioware.
  4. @Darkmikesta (Not a flame, just a refferance) I just wanted to say with the situation like the warzones not counting and it being around for a few weeks now. If the devs had the fix and just put it in with these others instead of holding back. Just putting it in, letting players actually see that they are competent and can fix issues that they are concerned with. Right now, they are just telling people to believe in them and are not really showing anything to help players play along. This is how I know, they don't have the fix for it yet and may not even be close if the note for the fix is still not mentioned in anything before Patch 1.2... They can easily prove me wrong in next weeks patch. That would make it a month with the bug quite prevelant. We'll do Bioware a favor here and not count the beta time.. #howsboutthat..
  5. Patch 1.2 is going to say volumes about Bioware and the direction the game is heading in. If they can pull it out which I hope they do and fix the issues that matter than more power to them. That said, they have some serious things to look at, a laundry list that needs to real cleaning. If they fail on this patch and only create more issues, then that hopefully will be enough for people to understand what others have been trying to express. It will be March, well enough into the release to have a general feel of how the devs are doing. Good luck Bioware..
  6. Pre-mades will be facing pre-mades.. So if you have a lame in your group, drop them. I'd think though pre-mades will have regulars in their groups.
  7. You see that rot in the corner called Illum? That's one way..
  8. I look at Accuracy as a PvE stat more than PvP.. That's probably the wrong thinking there but, Accuracy (Mobs) - Expertise (Players).. I've never seen accuracy stacked and then used in PvE to really see how much the increases improves damage and defense.
  9. Lololololol.. Pro advice right there.. Maybe once CC breaker gives some type of immunity will this be cool. To each their own tho, but one CC breaker to 6 other possible CC's in the same second you use it is a little "Meh.. That's all I'll say.
  10. I think there are some confusions about what people ***** about on these forums. Alot of stuff is repetitive, much of it is QQ. But a good moajority have solid concerns and take time to form their arguments to be comprehensive. Just every time their works gets flamed tho, some people really put some thought into what they post. Especially when trying to exrpess their concerns with the game. I don't think anyone thought that SWTOR wouold not eventually begin to implement some of the basic things we've been asking for. It was never about IF they would ever, it is what they are doing that made me unsub, the poor handeling of their customer service, and lackuster / questionable patching techniques. Their patches have had issues in just about every deployment. There are bugs that simply should not of made it into live. Features that without question should of been in at launch. It's the fact that the basics are not really being met. It's cool to come back and fix things, Thats exactly what the devs are supposed to do and those are the things they will need to continue to do to help their game grow. Just because people come on here and ***** or QQ about the game. Doesn't mean we don't have a real interest in seeing the game succeed. TL;DR: This is a start on some of the issues they have in game. It's good to see somethings like UI, and Guild options starting to be implemented. But they don't get mega points for putting in **** that should've been there before.. They still have ALOT to do before their game is anywhere near acceptable for myself.
  11. Unsubbing has improved performance ten-fold
  12. Bioware, E.A who ever is in charge of this "game".. You guys preach and praise about how your target players are pleased with your title. How your content is being recieved well and players both old and new to PvP are having fun.. That's *********** ******** YO! and don't close my topic on some flip ****.. This is about your game.. This is for YOU Bioware / E.A, from YOUR playerbase.. He tells you straight up, he's a FANBOY! and for us (the ones that took the blue pill).. the lawls..
  13. Hope your not in-game looking for those birthday thrills... Worst Birthday EVER!
  14. This is a known issue that many players have been having. Workaround: Unsub your account and go play something less broken.
  15. How can you post bout bugs when you don't even know how STEALTH is supposed to work?
  16. Lololol hahahahahahahahahaha lawlslawlslawsls lmaomaomaom rolfolfo omwtfffeverrrrrr.. It's not you..
  17. I feel you, I as a player just reaches a point of true frustration while playing that I haven't experience in a while. Just playing the game I can literally feel how broken alot of the things are. Mechanic wise as well as in design. I only said unsub not to troll but to help you also to AVOID the headache that you will enevitably feel while playing SWTOR.. Maybe unsub now so you don't spoil any chance the game might have in the future if they fix stuff.. Your choice, your time, your money, .. #twocents
  18. Sad to say, more than likely not. The fact that this is considered AAA is..
  19. Uhuh.. I'd unsubbscribe in the mean time. You're money would be spent better elsewhere.. Like on something good
  20. ****! Yo, SWTOR is now the funniest game in 2012. I can't see them losing this title any time soon. Someone really going to have to put out some true **** to accomplish taking the title.. Balance-schamalance
  21. Just unsub dude for real..
  22. You know that line was some ******** when they said it... They have the SWTOR forums for SWTOR stuff.. General has always been random ****.. More badsteps is all
