  1. Look dude I don't have time to go on a personal crusade to demolish this game. That would just be a waste of time and considering EA has 200 Million in their pockets to throw doesn't look good on my part. But what I lack in funds and actual "programming" knowledge I more than make up in my abilities as a competent gamer who knows when **** is broken. We've all played enough games (maybe) to understand when something simply isn't up to par. I came here gave a straight opinion and didn't take an all out effort to flame this game or the people here. Just because you've invested your $120 into the game doesn't mean you have to be some lap dog to them. Sitting here and trying to act like **** is all peachy is not going to help the game or the community in the long run. People with responses like this act like they're the ones that actually sat down to develope this game and that they truely have some vested interest in the success of SWTOR. The game is playable and is an "MMO" in so many words, but for real though this game is lacking on so many fronts and the stench of the shortcomings is becoming ever pungent. I can't tell you what to do with ya hard earned cash and invauleable time. All I can do is give you my impression on how things are going. You can take it or leave it. I could care less, but don't try to come at me like I'm on some fanboy ****. Cause I don't come on here preaching about any other games like GW2 or WoW or RIft, etc. I'm into good games I'm not concerend with being some titles fanboy.. Get ya **** straight and don't be mad at me that YOU OBVIOUISLY are complacent with giving Bioware your money for a half-assed job.. Get real brah..
  2. There's a balance that devs have to maintain to keep their patch benchmarks in line. I'm sure alot of thought goes in intially as to how long to fix something might take. I think we've seen that some developers will straight out lie about something being fixed and will leave people waiting for those fixes that have set releases, watch them come; know they'll fail and act completely *********** surprised about it. I'm not saying that's going on here with BiowErA and SWTOR right now, but... Not much surprises me right now with this title. It could have a completely 180 and have everything fixed by next Tuesday and I'd wake up the next day without a gray hair. I'm not too worried about that happening however cause it just aint happening. This game has a few broken pieces but still runs. Kinda like that old grandfathers clock in your hallway that has the broken hands that don't move any more, but that mofo' will toll every hour on the hour just to remind your ***** *** you can't tell the time on it.. (You can by the number of tolls but that's the point Biodrones) Crazy...
  3. Sir can you please refrain from feeding the trolls.. Thank you..
  4. Here's the thing I want to put in although I've unsubscribed from the game some time ago and escaped the evil clutches of this game relatively unscathed. Anything that they have listed in 1.2 Patch that is set for March or April (interested to see if that gets pushed back) should be completely fleshed out. There should be no bugs (the ones they fixed) and whatever exploits that were corrected should be done so. As well as all the Guild mechanic and Legacy system stuff.. That being said, in theroy there should not be any issue with them releasing these smallers updates if they wanted to, IF they truely had the fix for it ready. One that I would want implemented immeadieately is something like the Warzone daily fixes or exploit patch overs. These aren't things that should sit on the back burner while your game is obviously and I do mean OBVIOUSLY bleeding players at quite a healthy rate. There may be a drove of folks that leave one month and you gain a solid group, but honestly now that the hype has died down for this game. I'm not positve if the increase is surpassing the decrease in players. (ALL OPINION OF COURSE) The scary part is the people who are still playing have close to a month still to wait for these fixes that BiowErA supposedly has. If those supposed patches fail I'll feel some apathy for those that stuck around to see and were disappointed, but I won't be able to say they didn't have fair warning.
  5. A kick in the growing.. and a very hard one at that..
  6. Okay, this is all people need to understand. Stealth is NOT usuable while in combat on 1 GCD... Stealth is NOT usuable while in combat on 1 GCD... Stealth is NOT usuable while in combat on 1 GCD... Did you'll get that? "Force Cloak" is on a 2 - 3 Minute Cooldown w/ skills and is usuable in combat.... "Force Cloak" is on a 2 - 3 Minute Cooldown w/ skills and is usuable in combat.... "Force Cloak" is on a 2 - 3 Minute Cooldown w/ skills and is usuable in combat.... Did you'll get the second part? THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS NOTE: This is Sith Assassin / Shadows
  7. Uh no... Please stop falsying information to the people. Whatever you just said about stealth before the part about not being in a particular game you've played makes no sense to me. YOU CAN NOT USE STEALTH WHILE IN COMBAT, YOU HAVE TO USE AN ACTUAL SKILL "FORCE CLOAK" THATS ON A 2-3 min COOLDOWN TO VANISH WHILE IN COMBAT. STEALTH IS ON A GLOBAL COOLDOWN WHEN OUT OF COMBAT. BOTH ARE WORKING AS INTENDED Stealth is stealth, you vanish from combat. You're gone from the battlefield, unless AOE'd before you actually get away from people. I don't get what the OP is complaining about or what part his argument you are even trying to defend. I don't see any game that has a specific class that uses stealth, disabling stealth in PvP combat. That would completely defeat the purpose of the class. Not to mention in SWTOR how you would then be taking a good 4-5 skills and nullifying them. What he suggest is not going to happen. Stealth will remain in PvP if they change that Bioware might as well go ahead and hang any type of credibility as regards to PvP up. They will be a laughing stock.. The point in taking away those abilities from those classes is to show how utterly stupid it would be to do so. It comes with the territory of the class. You crazies need to L2RPG
  8. INB4 they nerf my Hot-rigged Speeder..
  9. Taking some time and trying to learn how other classes play. Watching how other classes are played and building your advantage on that.. Trying not to get tunnel-vision and keeping an eye on objectives.
  10. Thinking that stealth in PvP is some type of cosmic anomoly. Like they've never experienced stealth in any sort of PvP in a game. How can they claim to have played WOW, EQ, AION, GW, Neverwinter Nights, DAoC, Ultima Online, Dungeon and Dragons, .. Even Planetside for goodness sake... How they can claim they've played any of the games and have no idea how a stealth class works is beyond comprehension. It's out right trollery or a blantant attempt to confuse those than honestly just don't know.
  11. As long as you turn off healing, and any abilites that make a tank a tank.. Oh yea.. and no more 30m blaster and rocket abilities as well.. Hmm, since we're totally ruining this *********** game.. why don't we take out the lightsabers and replace them with particle wood placeholders instead with pvc pipe handles.. I'm down.. YOU!? EDIT: Are people just blind to the basic FACTS of what an ASSASSIN (Stealth) class is? I have yet to hear anyone give a discription of an Assassin and how they expect one to perform in battle... Still waiting.. and will never get the answer.. Because Assassins are "exactly" what they are in SWTOR..
  12. This to "Extream Cheese".. Hmm, and eh possible - For Random scans
  13. It's becoming less and less worth debating these types of things with people. Especially the anti-stealth in game crowd. Those ones are by far the most mind boggeling bunch of ***'s ever..
  14. Not how it works really, he had to use a few different skills to get away, and if didn't have his purge his cloak would just be voided out.. Stealth has been around for DECADES if you've never encountered a stealth class in PvP you've been living under a rock...
  15. Either take 30m range attacks from all classes or give it to no one..
  16. People don't realize how gimped SWTOR's stealth is when compared to many other games. SWTOR gives you a good chance to see someone in stealth from a fair distance. Some games level of stealth you have no chance to see them.. Believe it or not.. In some games, Assassins can actually one **** kill from stealth.. It used to be that hardcore... And you know why? Cause stealth classes were more than less meatsticks outside of stealth, they rely on backstabs from stealth, saps, and assassinates (big one hit crits that try to kill on contact).. Poisons.. and poisons.. You're lucky we don't really have that either.. I guess Ops/Scoundrels do get a version of that.. Which is good and an excellent anti stealth move since it last so much longer than other dots..

    I support this lynch mob..
  18. And it begins.. Look, I don't play this game.. I've unsubbed, but I can't sit back and watch people in the community go on these gamebreaking tyraids... They can nerf the dmg and survivalbility to *********** dust for all I care.. But if they dare to change stealth in anyway for the negative, this game will die an even more horrific death than it is destined for.
  19. I'm sorry but the class is built around stealth. It's an assassin class they can't help but have so many things to intetwine with it. If you are sitting hear arguing about stealth being in game and certain classes being designed around them. You are ignorant to say it kindly.. If you are talking about then turning around and giving stealth to healers, you are **** ignorant. These are why people keep saying SWTOR will die. Not only does Bioware have a ton of **** to figure out, the playerbase is even less knowledgeable about how design around many classes that have been around for DECADES works. SWTOR doesn't introduce anything really new as far as class designs. They have the regular **** painted behind lightsabers and blaster pistols. Come on, why are people acting like suchs "noobs"..? It's amazing that there are people playing these type of games that really don't know **** about them outside of cosmetics and their assumptions. SWTOR is newb and I just see no real future for this game. Being a noob is fine really, but don't come on here and start up arguments on things that *Crazy to believe* 100% correct in SWTOR....

    Stealth in Pvp

Do you know what an Assassin is how it is played in MMORPG's? Or just RPG's in general... Please, please.. Give us your discription of an Assassin and what type of playstyle you'd expect when playing one....? Proceed to pull bs from your anal? Go right ahead, cause you're going to have to..
  21. "He popped stealth then came back 30seconds we got him down and he stealthed again. He came out of stealth a second time, got him down and he stealthed a 3rd time.. All within 2mins.. " - Some posted hogwash that I can't find to quote properly. Pure grade A ******** right here people.. Vanishing every 30 seconds is not happening. Why blantanly lie or just bloat the story in such fashion. How can you come on and post that and really expect to be taken seriously. You have no to know your lying as your typing and just pulling **** out of your ***..
  22. *** are you talking about. Giving stealth to healers only and just ignoring the classes that are actually based around stealth. Such as Assassin/Shadows and Operatives/Scoundrels. People are really blind around here and no idea of class design when it comes to RPG's. Some of the nonsense I read just regarding stealth says volumes about the knowledge the playerbase really has. It's not surprising to see infinteen post about absolutely nothing. The post can be a well structured with good grammer. These things do little to make the post any more sensable since the basis of the arguments are so warped... Stealth to healers only.. *********** really dude.. omg
  23. You must of already unsubbed.. LoL
