I don't think it's wrong to want subscibers, but taking subvertive moves to try and "force' people to resub is some ***** **** really. When the Unsubscribe button disappeared in the beginning of launch that was kind of wierd. To have something, that specifically deals with not playing the game suddenly not work. LoL.. Worst part it was the ONLY thing reported missing.. The *********** cancle button so you dont get charged again.. Underhanded by Bioware for sure.. I refuse to blame that on just "coincidence". Then they go and release the DLC on PSN before their game is even out.. WoW. I mean its nice to have stuff on the shelf for your game, yea thats to be expected, but to have your pricing already and up before your game even releases just says you are some money grubbing hoes for real.. (Working as intended) Now they're pushing EVERYTHING EVERYONE could possibly want to fix this game into patch 1.2 and beyond. That's fine, work on your 1.2 Jesus Patch, Please get it right, cause you guys are making MMO's in 2012 look like a joke. Bioware you know you're droppin passes right now, it's not 4th down and 10.. But yo.. Make a *********** play... catch the damn ball.. 1.2 is going to be a big mark for this game. I don't think anyone can dispute that; it is a make or break moment in this game. It's not some armegeddon **** where Star Wars will disappear forever never to return to an MMO space, but it will be the last time something like this is actually attempted for while.

They are still just slamming the server off.. LoL.. Funny, with titles like Rift with Trion they give you a 30 minute notice just about every time the server needs to go down. The shortest notice I've recived while playing has been 15mins. The way they handle server maintaince goes to show more about the state of the game, it's just in a state of chaos at this time. They really need to catch up and I hope they do cause they will be creamed by the public of players if 1.2 is not whats its hyped to be. I hope people don't give them passes when this thing goes live. If it works I will give my nod to them actually get it done and implemented, but as I say that I expect nothing but top-notch results from this patch. If it lacks on anything that is being addressed or if it outright bugs out it will be another slap in the face to the consumer communty here. The people who aren't caught up in the Bioware Star Wars hype, but the people who are looking to get their monies worth and holding Bioware to their promises.

Those are the same ones that say that the forums are filled with whine post and that no one who complains actually tries to make since or point out what bothers them. I've seen that reasoning a lot and they know damn well people post constructive post but that they just get flammed on both sides and just end up getting closed mostly. It's not anything really new in this post, just more supporting evidence as to why SWTOR is not on par with being a AAA title. It does the voice over thing super-well but just about every other aspect is lacking in one form or another. I don't mean its just missing a little love here and there, but that some parts are just poorly designed.. It's okay though, there will just be the naysayers and the go back to WoWs, when this guy obviously left that game for Star Wars, and even if he played a good amount of hours since early release which was on the 15th of december. That leaves him two weeks to max levels.. More than enough time.. So for him rushing through maybe, but its pretty much on par with how everyone esle plays. 2 weeks is more than enough time to max.

Yea, in line with this for the most part.. SWTOR the Housing market of MMO's. Has alot of elbow grease spit shine, but isn't worth the ground it's built on..

Yea man sorry that you've come into this.. But for real your kind of late. This is nothing new at all, picked up about a month a go really and doesn't seem to be slowing much. The best thing you could've done was never logged out of the game to come check out the forums... Worst choice for anyone thats in game and happy. They read stuff, then start to notice those very things when playing. Then get mad cause others inadvertadly spoiled their enjoyment.. Your nothing new.. (I'm not saying that to be mean either)

I never got to play MUDS, but I could imagine the prehestoric times of MMO'ing.. Serioulsy though all jokes aside. This game is raw bare bones MMO for 2012.. Seriously, I have dialog trees in NBA 2k12 on my PS3, they've been doing it for years too..

Excellent post. I don't think I could've put it any better.. Most simply, its 2012.. It's not 2001, it's not 2005, it's not 2011. The bar rises each year for MMO's and gaming just like every other competive market out there. I don't feel people are asking for complete perfection, but they what they do want is every last bit of their money's worth. Titles like SWTOR that go through long and especially extended development phases have even less leeway, or at least they should, they had all this time to work on their game. IRL people have gotten Master Degrees in college in the time it took for this game to come out.. Just to put into scope the amount of time they've really had with the game. It just feels like they never took the time to sit down play their own game; even though they do. They have to feel the decline in population. I wonder what Illum is like on their servers..

Many things in peoples complaints don't even have anything to do with end-game. You can reach alot of issues well ahead of end-game..

You know I told a buddy I wasn't going to play this game. I hadn't been following it very much and was really waiting on the The Secret World or something else to play that had what I was looking for. I didn't come into this game completely blind no... I read up on games too much to have this just sneak up on me really. Being a roleplayer in roots though and knowing I had a few buddies playing I decided to give the game a try. I only got the DE (Suckers lol j/k) and had early access on Dec 16th for the game. Four days ahead of release. I think I paid $60 plus the $5 for early access. At that price I'm too concerend with $60 is pretty much standard for consoles and I mainly game there you could say. Although the last year or so has been PC between Rift, EVE, and now SWTOR (a blip really). I in my opinion in the state that the game is in and the steady decline of actual people to play with does not justify the $120 price tag that some people unfortunately will be duped into. I hear the Darth Malgus figurine is cool.. Nice painting but doesn't have any real weight to it. I can't remember the name of the wood it might be made of (Puter maybe, something light and airy tho), I know you get the books as well with the CE. So is that Book and Figuring + plus x worth $60 extra dollars onto the title? I like nice things, and know what splurging is like. It's not the peoples fault that they purchased the bigger price tag. Again I put the blame on Bioware and EA for just pulling the cover over people eyes like they've done and will continue to do unmolested for the most part. It's hard seeing your fellow gamers putting themselves through the ache though. If not apathy for the simple fact that they are convincing the developers than they half-assed product is acceptable and that they tired patching is even more worth while. Just outright being blind to stuff is dumb and just hurts your experience in the long run. It's okay not to like something in a game, it's not a damn sin. Again.. I have no ill will towards the community. It is not OUR fault, cause at one point I was a paying customer also who sat down and devoted some hours to the game. You'll have to define troubles, becase it has alot of problems that if uncheck for much longer could become a big problem persay.. First, we just gotta get people to be honest with themselves and stop giving Bioware the "This game just game out pass" when it was worked on for 5 years. Went through Beta phases, ALSO went through a Pre-release release that was 5 days out from it going "live" and STILL after 2 months of live. Those very issues still remain.. Yea, they've fixed and "added" stuff.. The only issue is that the stuff they are working on and putting out has nothing to do with the issues at hand. They work on something esle while actually doing nothing of significance. It's called slight of hand.. David Blane does this all the time. Pleae no "just give them time" or "the game just came out" because They've had time and this game has officially been out for 3months nearly... It's 2012 not 2001.. Why are we content on lowering our expectations? Especially at a $120 price tag?

You do realize there have been quite alot of contructive post by people who had issues with the game. Some of these post maybe took an hour or two to format out and spell check. People put in some work and thought into their post so that they didn't come off too iflamentory.. You know what happened to those post? The got closed by the QRF team. Anything that posted on these forums and that has points made about the negativety of the game will be redirected to some other forum or just outright removed completly and stashed away in some box the mods keep handy. I've seen the good post from people trying to express their concerns, but between the Biodrones who post on most occassions go untouched, simply because they are praising the game even with its abundent and blantany short comings. I don't blame those folks, its Bioware and EA who deserve all the backlash for this game, I just wanted to let you know that the 12 year olds aren't the only ones that can see how flawed the game is as a whole. Sorry you didn't get to see any real post of peoples concerns.. But I'm sure someone will post another one, just be quick on the mouse button cause it can be gone before you know it.

LoL.. It's not the hardware people are using. Illums crap i7 2.5ghz nvidia 460 8gb ram Plenty of power, plenty a space.. The engine is the game is not optimalized at all, or if it is.. the coding is so damn jumbled it makes running Illum a pain.. Area just runs bad, but its not a far cry away from how the game performs in all areas honestly.. /shrug

This dude just kept it real.. Lowering you expectations is one thing, but if you are playing this game and really feel like you have concerns on how things are going. Unsubbing won't make you less of a gamer because you are still a consumer as well. In sports (only a comparision) SWTOR would almost be like Tebow-mania.. You can see the line drawn between both sides a parsec away..

Did you take the time to even read my post? Not just look at the words and search out the things that you want to rage about. I mean seriously just read my post. I could've come and preached about a whole slew of things that actually work in SWTOR and maybe then I wouldn't of recieved such retorts for such a simple post really. It doesn't matter who has an opinion on SWTOR and whether they are right or wrong. This game is getting closer and closer to being too far gone. The people that will be left here to deal with Bioware till they get their head out their asses will be in for a long ride. I shake my head every time someone just goes blindly into the fray in an attempt to defend Bioware and SWTOR. Give them time.. "Blazayy Blah.." The games only 'X' old.. "Blazaay Blah".. Look that give them time ***** only going to work for so long. A fix shouldn't be on some dated timeline IF the fix is ready to be implemented. People are left hanging onto the hopes of March and 1.2 patch the silence all the negativity. For their sakes I hope that patch works, cause if it's ****ed. They will be slack-jawed and I'll be wondering how much more 'Y' time people will be saying to give them. MMO's are hard to make, they need to be refined over time. Still not an excuse to put out sub-part product and act like it's AAA.. If you can consider SWTOR an AAA title I'd be interested to see what that check list looks like. If we gotta give them time to work out there bugs and exploits and bad game design (Illum) then people should be just as hesitant to give this title some free-pass cause its new. There is nothing new about MMO's. Bioware didn't create story telling or cutscenes of voice overs. That ***** been done for years too, the more I look at it, the more this voice over and dialoge trees seem like some gimick. I could see in expansions how decisions made now could maybe have different gameplay for people who made different choices in the game, but we don't know if Bioware is thinking that far into it. TL;DR How much longer is? "This game just came out going to work.." ? The games been out since Dec 15th technically, it's now Feb 25th.. Thats two strong months... No ********.. The game is really not that new anymore.. Time to fix **** and stop giving these dudes free passes..
