  1. LMAO .. what a troll .. nice one though . Almost every single thing you said is a lie. Except for the edit part. The skill that increases movement speed of Evasion (Evasive Imperative) is BUGGED for Operatives (dunno for Scoundrels) and does not grant any movement speed; and even if it got fixed it's inferior to all mobility that every other class gets, not to mention that Evasion only lasts for 3s and only blocks auto attacks anyway. Also you cannot get Evasive Imperative AND Slip Away (movement speed increase on Debilitate stun) at the same time, unless you go into some sub-par hybrid spec. You want to make up stuff? At least do your research properly so you do not get busted so easily. Jeez. You must have not played against good ones.. sigh. I doubt you are an Operative.
  2. Oh I forgot PTs/VGs also have a charge. in terms of mobility/anti-mobility, they get: 1. Grapple | Harpoon: Pulls the target, instant, 45s CD, 30m range In addition to the following, depending on specs: In Shield Tech | Shield Specialist: 2. Jet Charge | Storm: Instant, 15s CD, 30m range. Jumps to a distant target, interrupting the target's current action and immobilizing the target for 3 seconds. 3. Jet Speed | Charge! 2/2: Jet Charge has a 100% chance to increase your movement speed by 30% for 4 seconds. 4. No Escape | Defensive Measures 2/2: Grapple has a 100% chance to immobilize the target for 3 seconds. In addition, your Stealth Scan has a 100% chance to immobilize the targets it reveals for 3 seconds. Under Advanced Prototype | Tactics: 2. Pneumatic Boots | Battlefield Training 2/2: +15% movement speed while High Energy Gas Cylinder is active. 3. Hydraulic Overrides | Hold the Line 1/1: Instant, 30s CD. Grants 8 seconds of immunity from movement-impairing effects, knockdowns and physics and increases movement speed by 30%. 4. Neural Overload 1/1: Ion Gas Cylinder damage now lowers the movement speed of the target by 50% for 2 seconds. Under Pyrotech | Assault Specialist: 2. Sweltering Heat 2/2: Combustible Gas Cylinder has a 100% chance when it applies its effects to reduce the movement speed of the target by 50% for 2 seconds. [Permanent effect with Flame Burst+Bursting Flame 3/3 | Ion Pules+Ionized Ignition 3/3] 3. Degauss 2/2: Energy Shield has a 100% chance to remove all movement-impairing effects when activated. So basically the only class in the whole game that's totally fraked in this regard is the Operative/Scoundrel.
  3. Thank you. I amended the first post, added your point and some suggestions. For the second point, do you have a link to that post? You can only min/max so much, because itemization on most gear is not that good imo. I used to min/max with Crit/Surge (which is only found on a few pieces), then Power. No to mention that only armor parts have mods (weapons don't).
  4. It is useful, but nowhere near as effective as removing them from play altogether with a KB. Any sort of damage will break the stun, and you can simply break out anyway if you have your CC-Breaker. (Not to mention that other classes have access to this type of abilities, so it is not exclusive to Operatives). You really cannot compare a soft-cc to a knockback off the ramps in Huttball.
  5. BW how about this. Just implement a BAG counter system for each character, where: > With 25% as base, you add +5% chance incremental increase to each bag that you open and get nothing. > The additional increase gets reset to 0 (i.e. back to the base of 25%) once you get a token. This ensures that the system is not too rewarding. You still have a low chance on the lower spectrum when you only open a few bags. > So in the worst case scenario of bad streaks, the 16th bag you open will have 100% drop chance. > By the 6th bag you will have a 50/50 chance. I think this sounds good. Either that or make it drop BM commendations and rework the prices. What do you think?
  6. wow .. you has awesome mad math skillz, bro! On topic: 3/34 (8.8%). Also, I do not know (of) any BM on my server who has 25% chance or higher. Yeah, it's easy. I think this sounds good. Either that or make it drop BM commendations and rework the prices. What do you think?
  7. How much Bonus Healing did you have at the time of that pic?
  8. Sadly you are a troll and a bad one at that. You did not read much in the thread. A couple of suggestions were given. Even if I had no solutions, that does not mean there is no problem. Go roll an Operative and see for yourself. Also, are you trying to say that there are no knockbacks that happen in every Huttball match? Or even chain knockbacks that happen in almost every match? You know there are; everyone knows there are; hence why I said there is no point in making a video. It is there and it gets used A LOT. No one has denied that. Are you? I said this to ONE person in the entire thread who came to do nothing but flame. If that's what you are here to do, then yeah, kindly go troll somewhere else. There were lots of people who did have genuine input to say and I responded to them all, at length, whether I agreed with them or not. And whether they agree with me or not, that is their choice too. But of course how would you know any of this if you don't even read. Let's see if you read this at least.
  9. I never said that it was a CC, but in Huttball as far as I am concerned (as an Operative), 1 KB removes me from play entirely, which is much worse than a CC. This is my whole point. I simply cannot get back in time to do anything, to assist my team or stop a ball carrier. Thanks for the tip though. The only problem is the animation takes a fraction of a second, and the KB works even when I am not in melee range since it seems to have a large radius of effect. So, I find it very hard to outrun it, not to mention that I do not know when or if it is coming. Also, any proper positioning I do, is usually countered by a small side-step from the opponent if they wish to knock me off. And as someone else noted in the thread, the small delay (even if a fraction of a second) between server and client is enough to not register the (re)positioning fast enough. I am not saying positioning does not work. There are times when it does ofc. It is just very hard to avoid getting knocked back off the ramps, unless the opponent is clueless ofc.
  10. That's coming as well, I bet! They nerf things in reverse: symptoms first, causes last Simply briiiillliant, briiiillliant, briiiillliant!
  11. Blows. Days left on sub: 5 ------------- You mean the 200m engine that COULDN'T? Hey, I made that up in my (re)view of SW:TOR (I thought so at least) Must .. not ... laugh .. I am thinking about it ... but no, I cannot, I still love the other stuff ;( Haha ... we all know the feeling. Not soon enough Q2/Q3 me thinks. You know he died, right?
  12. Your son is actually right. Sorc/Sage is one of the better ball carrier classes in Huttball. You should let him play instead
  13. Fixed for you .. Operatives and Snipers are 2 different classes. If you cannot be a bit constructive, please kindly and respectfully get out of my thread.
  14. Don't bother if you are an Operative/Scoundrel. You won't get that 5k, not on BM geared people anyway.
  15. Your wrong. Your gear and/or your skill sucks. I am not going to waste more time to elaborate on that.
  16. There is something called putting pressure on healers, not necessarily to kill them outright, but to reduce/stop their healing of others and hopefully force them to heal themselves instead. Conc Operatives do not have that pressure anymore past the initial burst, and with the coming patch, it's RIP for the tree. Well-played Sorcs/Mercs can ignore Operatives now following their initial burst, and continue to heal their team mates, while those destroy the Operative in a few seconds. Also, you make a very wrong assumption that healers do not hit back. They can outlast an Operative and kill him, especially since after 10s the Operative energy will be depleted. LOL Coming from a PT, the most overpowered class in the game right now .. just LOL Failware has no idea how to even approach class balance. There is absolutely no reason to play a Concealment Operative now -at all- I am glad I unsubbed. I will check back again in a few months or something.
  17. Most of your post had nothing to do with my thread, with the exception of this part. Either way, those who think knockbacks are fine, I would really like you to roll an Operative, play some Huttball. and tell me if you think it's still fine.
  18. I've given up on Failware. You can see a clear a trend: no communication; tons of issues and concerns go unanswered and neglected; they cannot even fix broken core functions. I was even hoping they would prove me wrong. Alas, they never did. If they devote more time to answering questions rather than policing forums, we may get somewhere. I hope this game does not fail, but I do not see it lasting long. Even fanbois will get tired eventually. The single player story and the alt re-rolling will only last for so long, and you will run out of excuses. I think BW is way over its head with this game. And I think they are genuinely clueless regarding many things like PVP, and that is why they are silent. I've not been disappointed and angry with a game developer as I am with SW:TOR's. They need to pull a miracle to save this sinking ship. If or until they do, I will watch it from afar. Good luck to those who are left behind. You will need it.
  19. Check the table It's just hard cash return from the missions. I cannot factor in profit from Discovering/Schematics, due to varying prices across servers, etc, but I gave a wild ball park figure above. I did include a % chance for bonus items though. Check 2nd Tab/Sheet for an overview. PS: I dropped Slicing for Biochem.
  20. 3 / 34 .. sigh .. I am looking for another game but my thread got locked up in 2 minutes lol They can lock threads but never actually answer any genuine questions regarding their game. Is this the quality level of your service Bioware? Thanks for showing me such a great example.
  21. hahhhhhahha .. so true .. so very true ...
  22. I can't see any off-topic forums, so I will ask for your suggestions here. There is a long list of games coming up in a few months, but can anyone recommend some nice game to play in the mean time? (Aside from WoW or Rift, and no, SW:TOR does not count ). I am just hoping for something I have not tried or heard about before, or maybe some kind of a sleeper hit Any genre is fine, but preferably an online game (no racing ).
  23. Many of my friends and guild mates left already. It's just 3 in my guild now, down from 30. Most of my remaining friends are just logging in for the dailies/weeklies. The only problem is that due to the wins not counting, some are not even bothering to log at all. I only got 7 days left on sub anyway and it does not seem BW are interested in fixing the broken core functions in this game.
