  1. It's marauder or tankasin. That's what all the players who want to enjoy themselves not playing something broke in rated will play. Take your pick. The rest will just be on here saying if you're not playing the gimped classes you have no skill. Some people on here act like this dev team and their decisions about PvP changes are infallible; they're not. Some classes are seriously going to suck to play in comparison. Kinda like Georg Zoeller saying he thinks they need to nerf ops/scoundrels because the players rage quit and unsub if they're stunlocked in wz's. lulz... All about the dollars, and in the end you make none because of it.
  2. It's bad enough you need the stupid 2-piece PvE bonus for the crit boost DPS'ing with this class to be wanted as a PvP'er. And that will be looked for on competitive teams in 1.2 ranked. "Oh, no 2-piece rakata? Gimped". Whatever. Unsub.
  3. I have a scoundrel scrapper DPS 50 champ, 50 commando combat med with BM healer gear, 50 sorc with BM healer gear... If I were going to keep playing, I'd only play as a mara/sent at this point. But then again, the 'balance' they'll have in 1.2 will make just about everyone but mara/sent want to reroll. Foolish.
  4. Because having to find a raid guild and waste extra hours a week on scripted bosses because every scrapper scoundrel is competitively 'gimped' in PvP without 2-piece Rakata bonus is about as stupid as someone marrying two wives.
  5. This is the conundrum with modern MMO's. They've turned into part-time jobs, primarily due to this warzone instanced PvP generation of linear gameplay where you are pigeonholed in a very strict setting with simple goals. It used to be open world PvP where even the casuals who had whatever gear didn't really care, they still had fun, because it was a big brawl, and people weren't looking at someones gear, they were saying "we need more people". Those days are gone in this 8v8 instanced/warzone hamster-wheel horror show. Now people need an incentive. They are all about the gear, as that is the only 'new' thing, because the battles NEVER ARE FRESH OR NEW. Always the same 3 maps. Oh, excuse me, 4.

  7. The only reason this game wasn't an insta-fail for the PvP community is the lack of competing releases. It's no longer a minority view among the PvP'ers, but a majority concensus, that if they don't have cross-server queues and server merges (for PvP servers at least) by time the upcoming big PvP games are out, this game will feel like a real game of Bioware's speciality, meaning single-player.
  8. Right. That's why no guilds want them if you're a random scoundrel looking to either see endgame content, or worse, trying to get the 15% crit 2-piece bonus for PvP; nope, scoundrel dps? No thx. Our guild leader has that covered. Lulz.
  9. The problem is that usually by time a player has their 4 medals, they can tell if it's going to be a win or a loss. So why would they spend another 10-12 minutes trying when they go hide behind the dumpster and get the same exact rewards watching a movie or whatever.
  10. Before it was just dailies/weeklies once you hit BM, you had nothing else to spend comms on since you could just use reusable 2 hour blue stims and wz med/adrenal. Now with this system, instead of being champed out and then not needing the comms for anything else, you have to get a char fully BM'ed out before you would want to drop Biochem. Zzzz. With 1.2 ranked comm system? Same deal?
  11. A lot of people have left and more are leaving by the day. This news of no major fixes until a month away (at least) means only more will leave.
  12. Right, this is like saying to be a good dentist you must also invest time in the other career path of manufacturing medical instruments. Stupid.
  13. I made this same argument because every scrapper scoundrel pvp'er worth his salt will go for the 2-piece rakata bonus (15% crit backstab) instead of the crap PvP bonuses. And all I saw were replies like "suck it up, it's a PvE game, PvE is harder than just queuing up for welfare epics". That's not how everyone feels, but it seems how the majority feel, including even PvP'ers in this game. They don't want PvP and PvE kept separate. So, find a raiding guild if you're a PvP'er. Lulz.

Well, I have two toons in 50's: a 70 BM'ed out healer sorc, a 58 champed out trooper combat medic, and when I hit the char select screen, I look at those two toons and see A.) boring ilum outnumbered lagfest B.) people leaving 50 warzones because they're getting stomped by premade BM groups (which will be worse when these valor 90 whatever early ilum exploiters get more 70+ gear) C.) Longer queue times and a terrible need for cross server because the server is already almost dead. D.) A need for ranked matchmaking so it isn't point B above. and... E.) The utter lulz by instead clicking on my purpled-out 49 scoundrel, queuing up, getting more pew pew pwnage than FPS Doug, and leaving before it's over. PvP in this game is in shambles, might as well have fun until they fix it.
