  1. Possibly... but it should have been in the patch notes (assuming it was done as part of a patch), or at least announced.
  2. I'm not near my computer to do the math.. and I'm really trying to find out from BW when they stealth-implemented a cap, hopefully, also with the reasoning behind the cap. This is a game that encourages multiple replays, and can't all be replayed on a single server, due to the character cap there... it just seems odd to me that this is something they'd stealth cap. also, not just PTS specific..tried on live right before the servers went down too.
  3. I tried to create a character on the PTS... and got told I was over the limit by 5 (6 after they copied my character to the PTS a second time)..
  4. It looks like the functionality is also supposed to let you hit a next button to go through the posts in the thread (after clicking on the icon initially).. that part doesn't seem to be working just yet though.
  5. It appears that there was recently an unannounced change, to limit the number of characters per account (not per server..that's always been 8 )... Does anyone know what the limit is, and when it was added?
  6. When the legacy features were first announced at the Guild Summit. Daniel Erickson stated that they would be granted after reaching a certain legacy level OR by purchasing for a large sum of credits. What is the logic behind the decision to make the legacy perks require both a legacy level AND a large sum of credits?
  7. And if we missed the 10:00 AM PDT deadline to repeat doing something we'd already successfully done... are we out of luck?

  9. I agree with Daniel.. the community on individual servers in WOW went to hell after cross server LFG was implemented. Tons of people were jerks, just to be, and because there were no repercussions to their actions..since with the cross server LFG...they'd likely never group with the same people again. I'd rather have slightly slower queue times on a same server LFG...than have to group with a bunch of random jerks who have no worries of repercussion for bad behavior.

When the system was added to the game in patch 1.2, legacy unlocks required BOTH legacy level and a large sum of credits. What is the rationale behind the change? and will a future patch change it to what Daniel first introduced?
  11. If you're talking about the notification of the event ending..we were originally notified two days after the event started...plenty of notice.

  13. Thanks! Glad to hear it is being looked into...hopefully, this won't take y'all long to fix..I know I've hardly done any slicing lately due to this bug!
  14. Heya- Can we please get the Chat Channel colors (especially for Custom channels) added to the list of stuff that is transferable between characters via the Interface Editor? Thanks! P.S. Lovin the UI Customization...big thanks for adding that!
  15. Will the 1.2 Legacy race unlocks be account wide, or only on the server you get that race to level 50 on?
  16. Since server transfers will be offered to players from the AUS/NZ area when those servers open... will server transfers be opened shortly thereafter for the rest of us, if we wish to move to a new server?
  17. Since our ships are our "player housing" will we be seeing more exterior customization options? I know you've indicated interior customization is coming soon.
  18. I think this is a great idea.. nice to see BW opening up yet another avenue for receiving feedback from the playerbase! edit.. for those curious about EU representation.. Stephen Reid just said this over on Twitter: We have already invited a significant number of guilds from all over the world, btw. We have plenty of EU representation.
  19. I'd disagree with that.. the only expectation I have of someone forming the group... is that they typed /invite. I've formed groups for Flashpoints I've never done before.. and we all followed the person who had done it before.. being the person forming the group has nothing to do with leading it.
  20. Did you follow the instructions here: http://www.swtor.com/securitykeysetup ? That's where I got the necessary information when setting up the key program on my iPhone.
  21. The issue was addressed during Beta, slicing was nerfed at least once while I was in beta. Obviously, the additional data provided by having a player base several orders of magnitude larger showed additional tweaking was still needed. And yes, I think addressing problems in their product is exactly how a good company does business.
  22. So, are you no longer turning a profit, or did you make 4k? Because both things stated in your post can't be true at the same time.

If you really believe that this nerf was the result of forum QQ, versus all the hard data BioWare is able to access...then I don't think you'll ever be happy with anything anyone says about the nerf. Slicing as a mission skill is still profitable..do some missions lose money? Sure, some are total failures and return zero credit, some lose a couple hundred credits. The minor losses are easily offset by gathering one or two lockboxes in the world. The larger losses are offset by selling a schematic or mission discovery, plus the occasional crit with a big profit. I've tracked every slicing mission I've ran post nerf (not the world lockboxes though), the least I've made over a day has been 6k. Obviously, if I have time to play more and keep my companions out on missions, I make more. I didn't track my missions pre-nerf, so I can't directly compare hard numbers...but I'm still making money. Keep in mind the Devs said pre launch that mission skills for gathering would not be as efficient as doing it yourself via farming, and right now, that seems to hold true for slicing.
  24. I'd like to see things being placed into the Cargo Hold auto-stack with others of the same item in there.
