  1. I'm sad you're ignorant, learn to read. As for your pitiful counterpoint, diplomacy gives you materials for blue and purple Biochemistry recipes, which on my server, sell quite well. I've bought and sold some. So you send your companions out and get something worthwhile in return. Slicing however, gives you no materials. You can slice for augments, but here's the catch: you can only augment crafted critical gear. So if you take slicing over say, Underworld Trading... you can't craft critical gear without buying materials from an Underworld Trader. If you took it over Scavenging, now you can't even level Armortech without buying materials. So right now it's pointless to have missions for slicers. Nodes are fine, and yes, you can be happy running around collecting them all day for lots of credits. By why should Slicing be the ONLY CREW MISSIONS that aren't worth a damn?
  2. Except I'm not the only one complaining about this issue. It's a huge complaint, threads with 300+ posts and tens of thousands of views. If I was the only one complaining, sure, I would be unreasonable to think they would answer me. But that's not the case. And you can't say they don't have enough employees, or they are not responding because it's the holidays. They have community reps specifically to work the forums, and if you look at the dev tracker, they have been posting... just not about slicing. I would be happy with even a response like, "We are aware there are many players unhappy with the slicing changes. We can't discuss it at this time, but we hear you." But they haven't even done that, and that's just insulting. As for saying good bye, save that line for your gravestone.
  3. That happened to me shortly after picking crew skills on an alt, but I couldn't actually use the skill. Are you able to use it?
  4. Actually I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that BioWare's contract to make SWTOR forced SWG to shut down. So there couldn't have been a free version.
  5. I'm sorry, why should I pay $15/mo to be ignored? If you want to, that's fine. You're a consumer too, and BW can take your money all day long for all I care. I however also have a right to decide what to do with my money, and right now it's not going to be used to give BW money when they have made no indication of responding to legitimate consumer concerns about the product they are selling. I also have a right to post on these forums for the next 20 days, until my initial game time expires, just like you and every other flamer *shocked* to find someone willing to stick up for themselves and their rights as a consumer.
  6. Thanks for not reading, you make the world a worse place by being ignorant. Learn to read before posting, or speaking for that matter.
  7. If they can break something in one week, and not fix it in the three weeks I have remaining on my initial game time... I'm not sure I want to pay to keep playing.
  8. Another ignorant poster who can't read what's been said over and over in this thread. Seriously people, it's because of how they nerfed it, the extent they over nerfed it, and the lack of response to hundreds of legitimate posts and thousands of views on the subject.
  9. Someone already asked, lol. So I have to give it to them first right? =p
  10. I have expanded my inventory once, and I haven't bought my second bay yet. I haven't really had the need to do so yet, I just stop by the vendor in between quests.
  11. ...except you use those crafting resources to make armor, weapons, consumables, gadgets. Slicing doesn't make anything, and the only thing unique (augments) can't be used on anything, not even raid gear. This is just false. I leveled Biochem completely from sending my companions out on missions to get the mats. Looking on the GTN, I would have to pay a lot more money to do so. The stuff I make with Biochem is actually useful too... unlike my Slicing skill at the moment.
  12. You only need diplomacy to craft blues/purples. All of the green recipes up to 400 only require bioanalysis, so you can level it without diplomacy. If you have some credits, you can just buy the diplomacy mats when you want to make a blue/purple.
  13. And that's the biggest complaint. Thanks for finding common ground.
