Pretty sure OP isn't referring to Ops bosses, guys. And I agree. The Revan solo fight is laughable (at least the broken one at release was a challenge) and a lot of other fights have become signifcantly easier over time.

Try resetting the quest via your quest log and doing it over again. May be tedious, but could fix it.

You forgot Darth Mortis. The thing is, most Jedi Council members can at least survive via light side choices and continue to be useful in some way. The Dark Council members just get killed left and right all the time. Heck, in the 4 Forged Alliances FPs alone 2 of them die.

I assume he'll take a break and bide his time in the shadows. He has a lot of time to complete his plans, after all. And he even said on Ziost that "something else has piqued my interest" so maybe this is what he was referring to? He is the ultimate big bad, I'm in favour of holding out on him as the actual story villain a bit longer.

Past act 2 Republic and Empire basically re-entered full on active war, the Battle of Corellia was massive, costing the Empire 10% of it's military force. Then they started a Battle for Ilum but that was cut short by one Darth Malgus. And throughout the years, they continued. When you do the Makeb Imperial story, Marr informs you that he lost 3 systems trying to bide time for your operations on Makeb. The Republic and Empire invade Korriban and Tython, respectively. Over Rishi, the Imperial and Republic fleets start a massive battle that only ends after your interference. The team-up on Yavin isn't Empire + Republic, it's Marr's people and Satele's people specifically. It's just that the player characters take part in only select conflicts and completely miss out on other things that may happen throughout the galaxy.

Since Vitiate is billed to us as a nigh-indestructible entity of incomprehensible power in the last few content releases, that would make the fight against the new faction kinda hopeless, wouldn't it? I reckon Vitiate is just biding his time and playing around with the galaxy he considers his own.
