  1. Yeah. The 15% speed increase is a huge boon to being able to stay on people. It makes an enormous difference. I went back to Watchman last night to see how I would feel about it now, that I'm much more experienced and I seriously miss the Combat mechanics.
  2. Which bosses, exactly, can you interrupt in end game? I haven't seen one yet. They all have immunity. Are you level 50 yet?
  3. I understand that. He was talking about end game PvE, though. In end game PvE, there is nothing to interrupt or pacify. I haven't done any NM so maybe it's useful there on trash or something? D-Pad - Moves me around *thumb* 16 - Master Strike *thumb* 15 - Force Stasis *thumb* Wheel - Speeder *index finger* The reason those 2 are assigned like that is because they're the only 2 skills you can use where movement is not an option, thus I can afford to take my thumb off the D-Pad to use them. The left sidebar is assigned to the Naga and they all correspond to the Naga buttons (they're all defensive abilities). The 5 abilities are assigned to the easiest buttons in terms of accessibility. This is the most efficient set up I found for myself. YMMV. Hope it helps. EDIT: forgot to mention targeting - mouse wheel click (+ modifier).
  6. Yeah, BR spam does require you to stay in range and there are simply too many CC's/slows in the game to be extremely effective with it in PvP. That is the Achilles heel of Combat PvP.
  7. *** are you talking about? Did I ever say there was anything wrong with the Sentinels? What abuse are you talking about? You mean me pointing out the fact that his request was impossible to fill due to the lack of a combat log or the fact that he wasn't entitled to anything on the forums? As for your 2nd part, what evidence are you talking about? How can I produce evidence to you without a combat log? It's all theory crafting at this point and, yes, that's what the forums are for. I'm not sure what your last sentence has to do with anything, and I'm beginning to think you're just a very confused person.

  10. I wish we had DPS meters too, because I would be willing to bet a lot of money that there is no higher 5 second DPS window than a [Zen + Precision Strike + Blade Rush spam] in the game.
  11. A geared Combat Sentinel will outdamage a Watchman one. People simply do not understand the power of a Blade Rush spam in Zen after a Precision Strike. The numbers are mindboggling (especially if you pop a relic). Everyone thinks that Combat is built around Blade Storm but that's simply wrong (it's a common misconception for those inexperienced with the build). The strength of Combat is found in Blade Rush and is simply augmented by the auto-crit Blade Storm every 9 seconds. Combat is subpar when you're leveling and don't have gear. It also doesn't have any awesome utilities like the 6sec CD for Force Kick and 0 range for Force Leap but those become useless once you start running ops.
  12. You might find some help here. I can post my binds when I get home. Like I said in that thread, though, I exchanged my G13 for the Nostromo and found it way easier and more efficient to utilize than the G13.
  13. Oh yeah, it procs and double procs... you're doing thousands of damage in seconds. It's crazy.
  14. Yep. When everything crits, it's just gobs and gobs of damage and you can literally spam it every second in Zen. It's ridiculous damage.
  15. Probably because it was OP. I think people really underestimate the potential of the Blade Rush spam in Zen. It does gobs of damage.
  16. Oh. Well, I can give you one piece of advice: do not waste your global cooldowns on Strikes, that is just a terrible, terrible idea. Use Zealous Strike and Force Leap as your focus builders. If you're running empty and your Zealous Strike is on cooldown, then you can resort to using a Strike. Don't waste your talents on Swift Slash either. That is just silly talk for a Combat Sentinel.
  17. No, I haven't done the math, that's why I said your post was interesting and I was looking forward to seeing more. As far as Strike goes, it's usually a last resort thing for me because it wastes a GCD with relatively low damage. You want to use Force Leap (talented to give you more focus) and Zealous Strike (one GCD and gives you a whopping 6 focus) as your focus builder. 1 GCD for 2 focus is really going to cripple your damage output, my man.
  18. Why are you striking? I'm confused by your posts a little. Did you actually do some math or are you just hypothesizing?
  19. Well, you want to have around 108% accuracy for Ops bosses so it definitely helps you get there.
  20. Rebuke (and thus Crusader) is pointless in end game PvE and accuracy is a must.
