  1. Forgot to add that I am disappointed there is no damage meter yet. This, to me is an essential tool. It's fun to be able to see the improvement in your dps output with new gear, and to be able to tinker around with speccs and gear to find what works best. Without this tool, a lot is lost in the sense of progress
  2. Haven't been to Ilum yet, too many traumatic memories but hopefully that place is also a lot better now=)
  3. Having ended my subscription in March last year I returned to SWTOR little over a week ago following news of free to play model and server merges. While I was very unhappy with SWTOR due to some very high expectations upon release I must say that the main reason for me unsubscribing was the empty servers. I played republic on the server Chuundar which had 40-60 players at fleet PRIME time. Usually around 15-30 and less in the very late hours. Add to that the lack of any form of dungeon finder tool and you had an MMO that was virtually not an MMO at all since grouping up with people for flashpoints was such a chore. I am very glad upon my return to find that my new server is full of life on all planets and on fleet. The dungeon finder makes finding flashpoint groups less of a chore and it is how it should have been in the beginning. I am less happy to find that the animation delay is still present, and that it means that it cannot ever be fixed. This kills the PvP in my opinion since you can never predict when and on which ability it is going to strike. I'm also glad to find that professions such as artifice is now viable too. The armor sets areforthe most part unconvincing and bland like before but the adaptive armor feature is a nice touch. All in all I think the game is a lot better and I will subscribe for a while more, although I think some end-game content needs to be added if I'm going to stick around for the long run. Keep improving the game!
  4. I have a lvl 45 sorc at the moment and it's the easiest class I've ever played in a mmo. While at the same time being very very powerful borderline OP.
  5. I sometimes use your tactic, but it's very dependant on the situation... IF I want burst I will apply my dots and pop trinket and zen for some shock damage. Usually on healers if theya re close to 50% health and then kick them as they panic to bring them down.
  6. I'd say Sentinel and Guardian/marauder/juggernaut are hardest to master. NOT saying they are bad classes. But that they require more of the player than other classes. Easiest in my opinion is Sorc and sage, very powerful and requires very little from the player. I think the jedi/sith melee classes are hardest because they have the most stuff to keep track of WHILE constantly moving. My Sentinel for instance, I have to keep track of the surroundings, constantly move, check for my focus and which ability I can use with that focus, then keep track of the CD's of the abilities I just used AND keep track of the dots I have applied on the target, watch for my centering stack and make sure I have the dots up before I use Zen. Add to that the problem with animation delay which quite frequently will make you attacks NOT go off when you press. Meaning I hit overload sabre and then Cauterize only to realise Overload sabre never connected and I now instead used Cauterize... *********** up that rotation. Just my thougths:P
  7. Am I the only one who are having nightmares about them? I do not know if I should call OP since I have no idea really what the deal is, maybe I just don't knkow how to fight them... But it's like they take extremely little damage and still manage to put out quite a high amount of dps. Many times I feel like I'm baningn my head against a brick wall trying to dps them
  8. I'll give them until patch 1.2... if that doesn't bring a HOST of improvements I'm out, and not only out. I will be boycotting Bioware products from then on.
  9. WHat is it with certain assasins that makes them virtually, invincible? Every now and again I come across certain assasins that simply takes like ZERO damage over a very long period of time. Is it a certain specc or a cooldown they pop? Or are some player using some sort of an exploit? Just wanting to understand the class so that I can stand a chance against them:P
  10. Knockbacks, roots, stuns, sprints, CC AND bubble? Are all of these really necessary???
  11. I'm a little worried about mobility as Combat since master strike is so very hard to hit with in PvP. If you had a 3 sec stun or something it'd make it easier:P
  12. Sure there is a thread like this but too lazy to browse:P Just basically... Combat over Watchman for PvP... anyone? Is it even an option?
  13. I'd much prefer PvP weren't gear dependant at all. I think the addition of resilience took away much of the fun with WoW PvP
  14. I definitely think this is true. Unless the player in battlemaster isn't completely clueless.
