  1. There's a debate on that? I've been under the impression that its a given that Insight affects our DoTs and the debate has been about whether it's worth investing 3 points into that.
  2. I'm sure that was a typo and meant to say PvE. But yeah, sorry, when I talk about end game, I talk about Ops (where neither Pacify nor Force Kick are useful). Do bosses not have Boss Immunity in HM FPs?
  3. You're confusing me. Are you talking about Ops?
  4. Wait, I'm confused. I'm sorry, I'm PRO Insight for end game PvE as opposed to Watchguard. Sorry for the HEPR DERP. I fixed that post you quoted me on. It was supposed to say Watchguard.
  5. For sure. But then it's a question (at least it is for me now) of whether you take Insight for the hard crit% or whether you take Steadfast for the hard acc%. Either way, you're freeing up secondary stat budget.
  6. They drop on normal too, but I'm not sure about the proc rate conflicts. Sorry
  7. It's not a DR issue. You have to do a little bit of math, but even hard crit% loses it's relative value as you approach 100%.
  8. Wait till you're out of focus with 5 stacks of Juyo to throw Master Strike down.
  9. It is absolutely not worth it for end game. I never claimed it was.
  10. These are all good points. However, when a guy claims he know what he's talking about and then shows you his end game DPS trees with points in Watchguard, he can safely be called an idiot. That's all I was saying.
  11. A lot of the times, the hilts you get from comm vendors are of lower level. I know for a fact there's a hilt at level 35, I just forget what number it is. You want the hilts that require level 35. The next ones will be at 37, 39, 41, etc.
  12. You can buy hilts from the GTN or make them yourself using Artfice. There is a new hilt available to you every 2 levels. You want the blue version (at 35, I think you're looking at Might Hilt 12 or something like that).
  13. I don't know, man. Inflammation isn't that great in PvP given that we have Leg Slash which slows targets by 50% for cheap. It's totally useless in endgame PvE. Recompense is not useful in endgame since you're not getting hit 85% of the time. Watchguard has been covered. I'm just not seeing any more than 31 points for endgame PvE.
  14. Watchguard is one of the best talents in Watchman for leveling and PvPing. My problem with Hizoka was that he had points in it for the best endgame PvE spec while ignoring Insight. Dude is clueless.
  15. When it comes to a Watchman build, you only need 31 points in the tree. That leaves 10 points over. Justify not throwing 3 out of those 10 into Insight. What are the better options for end game DPS assuming you're at 108% without Steadfast?
  16. Well, you're really going to be critting at pretty much the same rate whether you have 30% or 35% (which is about 1/3 of the time you do damage).
  17. I read and reply to many posts because I want to get better (Easymode_X has helped me learn my class tremendously, for example). As far as crit math, I understand the concept just fine without you having to explain anything, I'm just saying you're parroting the "terminating stat" to sound smart and going around acting like you know things when you're completely oblivious. Show me a better place to drop 3 talent points for endgame DPS (when you have +12% acc) than Insight and maybe I will listen. And don't get me wrong, I understand the benefits of a faster interrupt (when you're running FPs or in PvP), I was just laughing at you when you said Watchguard was a good talent for endgame due to it allegedly enabling you to shut down any boss (lulz). One of these days you will run an Ops and realize that the boss' casting bar will keep going no matter how many interrupts you throw at them (there is one exception but that obviously doesn't make the talent worthwhile). And when you do realize that, you will feel like the idiot that you are.
  18. It's not basic math, Hizoka, and you can't even explain it properly yourself. You're just parroting some **** you read on sithwarrior. Yes, the difference between 35% and 40% is minimal when it comes to probability and chances, but when you start getting a bunch +acc gear, there aren't any better alternatives out there as far as talent points go (certainly not Watchguard, you stupid nubcake). So yeah, it's a decent 3 talent point investment.
  19. It's the only melee range interrupt you have along with Force Stasis. Force Leap is an interrupt but only Watchman Sents can spec it to be 0 range. As far as being OPed, I can definitely understand why bad players can think that when they see their HP bars just melt away into oblivion. I was messing around on Illum late lat night and I, literally, won every 1v1 fight I was in (granted my enemies were not very good at all). They would then gang up on me and I would pop Guarded by The Force and just talk mad **** before trying to (sometimes unsuccessfully) Force Camo the **** out. Good times.
  20. Yes, Sentinels are a priority based class (especially in Combat) and there are no set rotation, but can you please stop acting like you know *** it is you're talking about? lulz
  21. Gotcha. So when you open your character sheet, you want to see 98% there (not scrolling over for more info). Thanks a lot, man, that was a helpful post.
  22. Defense is just that... your chance to block, parry, dodge, resist, etc.
